True, this user did come back after a long period, but I highly doubt this is the case. BiPolarBob is known to randomly pop on, chat around, then leave for a while. He is pretty trusted, so its really up to the user if they want to take the risk or not.

Ill still give it. I have reasons to beleive that the account is not compromised.

I hope you're certain. It's suspicious at best that this person would come back after 1 year+ and demand a loan without allowing us to ask for old wallet signatures, just because whoever was behind that account in the past was trustworthy. It makes me uneasy.

I remember a time when I was a complete newbie, and I got into lending, I had a kind heart and fell for a story some scammer told me about being broke and stuff (I was a real newb haha), you covered my loss when I got scammed (260$).

Don't know how to react to it but it's like taking a 2x gambling risk. And quickseller merit on the op makes it even funnier.

(I am not saying that he's trying to scam but caution would be great as we have seen so many hacked accounts asking for loans in this section.)

BPB is known for doing this sort of stunt and also for his highly lucrative remuneration, which is why everyone here is tripping over themselves like it's black Friday at Walmart to give him the loan.

Was this filled or is BPB gone, filtering the carpet for the crack rocklets that might have been dropped?  Interested to see how this comes out.  Don't think he ever actually needs the loan.  My impression has always been that he gets off watching bitcoin going back and forth between wallets.  Crazy as he is and all.

It's kind of like gambling on a binary option. Either it is legit, or the BiPolarBob account gets painted in red. I suppose people are willing to see what happens with only .01 BTC on the line.

Last time he popped up after months of inactivity was in November 2016, he instantly asked (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1688956.msg16949983#msg16949983) for a 1BTC loan, got it, and repaid.

I was expecting him to give the 0.01 away instantly, he calls it buying earning trust (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1688956.msg16950347#msg16950347).

BiPolarBob: although we haven't met, I just want to say: you're quite a character! I'm a big fan :D

If anyone would manage to hack his account, he could get a much higher loan in a heartbeat! Of course, he'd have to post an addy to get it.
