Can you sign a message from an old address?

If you can, I have 0.5 BTC, I just need the other 0.5 BTC to be filled by another lender.

Edit: Looking at your history, you can not be described by words. Taking a loan, while throwing Bitcoins to left and right.

Not very active. Please use PM or email to get a reply from me.
High value lender – Within 24 hours, I can fund your 10 BTC loan. Give me 48 hours and 20 BTC will be ready.

To be exact, it was around $140 (0.01 btc (~$7) @20 people).  But why he still gave some of his money altough he said if he need 1 btc as a loan? He's very mysterious.

He is known as a generous guy lol. I've seen him before and he was giving away money whenever he wants.
He previously took a loan here  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1179492.msg12409634#msg12409634
afaik he used it to give away to random people as well. Cheesy

Guy asks you for superquick loan and you are delaying it by asking million questions. But when he was giving away free bitcoins i didnt see anyone to ask a question. You were pasting adresses faster than light. I dont have 1BTC at the moment but if i had this would be the guy to lend to

asking about signed message is the normal thing if the lender wants to be safe. in case BPB's account got hacked it will be a 1btc giveaway to the hacker if the lender is not cautious enough

I don't keep old wallets so I can't sign anything.

I was hoping that someone would just blindly send the 1BTC without asking questions.
