all of the 3 choices are good for a better profit, get away with those scam/ponzi icos btw

Trading the coins and holding the coin for a longer period than most is how you'll make money in Bitcoin.

Hodling is easy and with good results.
Trading is harder and the results can vary from fantastic to big losses.
ICOs will most likely result in big losses, unless you really know what you are doing.

I'm not really that experienced but as far as I have observed, holding the right coins long term can really give you more returns compared to frequently getting in and out of a trade with a few % in gains.

For me trading, lending way that can be used to get profit and by following bounty campaign (get free)  ;)

If you do not have the time to always monitor prices, use the way you buy Altcoins every month for a fixed amount, then sell them at the end of the year. I was Neo and EOS guy. But now I want to jump Walton's wagon! It has the same coin supply as Neo, but cheaper and growing faster. I think it is better and cheaper NEO back in November 2017. I will still hodl my EOS and Neo, old horses. But I will put rest of my money to Walton (WTC). Hopefully, I will be driving Toyota Camry (not a Lambo, don't have that much to invest  ;D) by the end of 2018.

The best way to have profits entirely depends on your own priorities.

1) If you want to play it safe, with the least risk possible, then go for HODL. Just keep some trusted coins like BTC, ETH and Litecoin in wallets where you have control over the keys. Over time their price will increase, although in short terms these coins may see many ups and downs.
2) If you are willing to get good profits, and are OK with taking risks also, but not high risks; then go for ICOs. Read the whitepaper, join their telegram/discord, ask difficult questions and see the reaction of other people. Ask yourself if this project is doing something very useful and unique, which no other project has achieved till now. Basically do whatever you can to know if the ICO devs are capable enough and serious about their project. This will help you to shorten the risks.
3) If you are one of those high risks, high profits guys; then go for trading. Day trading is very popular now a days and if you are comfortable in risking your money, then you should go for it.

I have experience buy altcoin at price 1 sat then sold them at 100 sats, but i still regret because 2 weeks after that price pumping more than 1k sats. I also have bad experience there but i can get my money back with my trading profit. That why i choose to buy and hold cheap altcoin.

For ICO may be its good way to get money but we should really know the project and team, because if we wrong here we'll lose all money. From my experience invest in ICO listed to the market usually be main problem. I still have some ICO's coin and until now have no market to sell (between 6 months - 1 year).
So from my opinion better trading and hold than invest in ICO.

For me, if I see price of cryptocurrency is very good to be a chance to trade, because it has a volatile price. I was trying to make profits by trading when I started, but I missed out on so much money by not hodling and being impatient as well! First i will hold my coins for long period of time for better profit. (Hold the better coin)
Second is trading ill do daily trading if possible depending on the movement of the value of coins in the market but mostly ill trade for the less know coin.
Third is ico i only have small capital for this because it is much riskier than other two method.

Investing 100$ and waiting for a year for a x10 is not so great, even if its kinda a good profit its just not worth it in this fast growing market. Investing in ICO is really risky, but also can gain you x10 medium time (depending on when you enter) as many icos can have huge profits as soon as they enter good exchange. I think if you start with low investment its better to trade into a bigger sum and then investing into stable good project for long hold.

Same here buddy, I also prefer on long term investment. Every opportunity may only comes on our lifetime and most of the time we can't find it but only time matters. On my opinion, which I relying on my experience ,the best time to have a profit are those ICO Projects handled by those already proven bounty managers that can have a great profit in the future. Yes I agree with this one. Because ICO and Long term hold you can do it for a day then wait weeks, moths, or years. You have so many free time for trading you can do short trade or mid term trade also unless you are a busy man and have a lot of busy schedule but if not I really suggest you can do short trade atleast 10% - 30% profit a day is not bad.

Together with thinking about how to raise profits,  you should think about how to minimize losses:)  this is why I consider that a person,  who is trying to earn in crypto so there's should be involved in these three activities at least.
