Title: Which coins to invest?
Post by: legend001521 on January 29, 2018, 01:27:48 AM
Hi, I was wondering if you guys could give me some advice on what coin I should invest in next. (About 50 to 100 pounds). I have narrowed it down to

1.ENG
2. WAVES
3. REQ
4. WTC

This is just based off me lurking this sub/reddit and checking out any coins that people seem to prefer and researching them individually, they all seem like good coins that I have faith in but I want to narrow it down to 2 if not 1 coin to invest in.
I currently have some BNB, NEO, ETH, XLM, ICX, VEN

Thanks

The coins which i would recommend you to invest in are CIVIC, LITECOIN and VERGE as i see alot of potential in all of these coins. Civic is a coin based upon the idea of identify verification with help of blockchain technology. You can easily 5x your money if you invest in this coin by end of this year.
Litecoin is known for its quick transactions as it is almost 4 times faster than Bitcoin making it more usable.
Verge is a privacy coin which can really grow this year.

I feel as though XSPEC is for more likely to perform better than Verge and push for a high spot in terms of marketcap ranking, XVG developers have shown themselves to be slow and unreliable and that just won't cut it in the long run. Check out CREDITS (see my sig), their ICO is starting soon with only a modest $20m to be raised, they've raised $3m of that in pre sale. Huge potential growth from that one.

I think WTC go high in this year. Maybe WTC can make it to a top 10 coin. Is it true that they make a own mobile phone? When this is true, its amazing!

Why not divide to those four coins for diversity?  That way you will have a better chance for profit in case any of those coins or if all pumped and reached your target price. If I were to choose one though, I would choose waves since it is one of the best in the list and is the one with most potential for growth considering it has been dormant for long and is having valued for a long time.

I feel that £100 max isn't large enough to diversify as it would mean only £25 per coin depending on how I split it, however I do have faith in all 4 coins so that could be an option later down the line when I get more funds.

If you ask me this question then my ans is , first of all you should invest with ETH and second is you should invest with waves as well.Because eth future will be bright and it's growing superbly...Some expert are saying ETH will reach $2k in February 2018. Waves future also will be very good so you can invest with this coins.

You guys are real specialists to understand the trends of BNB, ICX, VEN… And you have good chance to have money on that. Though I think one can earn on ETH, BTC and XRP too, maybe predictable

Which coins would you invest? I chose bitcoin, litecoin and ethereum because the price in the market is good and satisfactory, I see the financial potential in these three coins and each year the three coins must rise slowly.

Most of the coins listed by you, are very OK just that your risk capital is very minimal. If you can buy some coins that are lower than  $1 and are doing very well now I think there are better.
Token like usdt, tron and xem are going to do well this year and investing in them should be what you should do since you capital is small.

I have some XLM, and I am planning on putting some money into REQ too, both are under 1 dollar right now, what are your thoughts on them? Should I invest more into XLM and start REQ?

If you have done research on those coins, why not? I am not familiar with most of them though. For long term I would suggest investors to buy coins with low total supply. Dodge is good coin but the total supply is huge, so it wont go too expensive in the near future. On the other hand Dash has very low supply but it is now already so expensive.

There are many valuable coins in the world. Some of the most valuable coins in the world: Brasher gold coin, duPont coin... Now the world has more valuable electronic coins such as BTC, ETH... You want to invest as you like.

My picks for this year are as following;

1. XVG mentioned a lot in all news everyday, great community and amazing potential to grow. Very easy to send tx's anonymous.
2. STRAT with upcoming ICO's on their platform, this will boost for sure.
3. ZRX decentralized exchanges are the future, very experienced team (ex Coinbase).

I've seen their roadmap, what will be the things that causes the greatest jump in price do you think?

There's a lot of new coins out there that offers good services, product and has a long-term good plan. You just need to make a research before investing. It's true that old altcoins are worth holding. However, some new altcoins can be bought cheap and can even worth more in the long-run. It's best to buy coins when it is still cheap, so just do your research.

Great choices!  Looks like you know exactly what you are doing...go with your gut.  I think you don't need any help. :)

Of those choices...I'd go with; ENG, WTC, REQ, WAVES (in order of priority)

Expanse - Tokenlab & ICO's The Catalyst of Mooning

I am very bullish on Expanse and believe in the Community, The team, and ofcourse the blockchain. I feel they belong among the top Eth forks because of the tech and the consistent improvements and innovations. I believe the release of Tokenlab and launching ICOs on the Expanse blockchain could be the Catalyst that shoots
expanse up to where it belongs. Tokenlab I believe will be an extremely profitable investment which makes investors and the community want to talk about Tokenlab and Expanse promoting the blockchain building massive hype. Then each succesful ICO on the bockchain will continue to increase the community size and hype. Similar to how Eth grew in price and size. I think that Expanse could see 20x this year.

Well investing is just a matter of value for me i choose those coins that has the biggest market value and i think bigger value today will be more bigger than for a long time. So therfore i conclude investing coins must choose for the bigger one and coin with the most demand for time to time.
Maybe cheaper value would also big in sooner but I'll be prefer for what I've predicted so that I won't regret for it's my own decisions.

Actually I'm not an expert to recommend a good coin to hold, but from the list you give may be influenced by several factors that I like the waves. and if I can add a suggestion, try investing in LiteCoin.

Its difficult to determine which coins have a high value in the future cause everything is going through a red moon ,I mean all good to keep hold cause this slope will cause the demand to accumulate in the next month and I'm sure of that ,I'm more amazed to WTC

Depend on your budget that how much budget you want to invest. If you want to invest high budget then i will prefer you to invest your more budget in bitcoin and some medium average in altcoins while if you are interested only in altcoin investment then i will prefer you to go to ethereum for investing more part of your fund and then go to waves, ripple whose price is almost low.

I would go with the top ones which have already survived through tough times and grown a lot in past few months. I am talking about Ethereum, Ripple, Ethereum Classic, Litecoin, Neo and Waves. None of them is going to disappoint if held for a good duration of time.

Also, it is not a fair thing to start disbelieving crypto currencies during the downfall. Oh, I almost forgot about the life changer, bitcoin is the number one option.

You should invest in WTC because NEO - WTC are Asia coins and in particular China, in the future, these 2 coins will increase rapidly due to China being a country that holds a large number of cryptos. The world according to market statistics. Invest in these 2 coins and hold at least 6 months to make a profit in 2018.

I would strongly recommend that during this particular phase in cryptocurrency wherein all the top coins including Bitcoin is very cheap, do not go for those that have not yet proven the worth of their coins. Instead, go for those on top. After all, they are very cheap right now. They will be the ones that will be on the forefront of the bullish market once all these very red days are through. Go for Bitcoin, Ethereum, Waves, Stratis, POWR, ADA, and so on. Just choose the top ones.

If you're looking to buy into crypto with a small fund, then look for something that is hugely undervalued.

Do lots of research about the dev, what is in the pipeline, the potential for growth, etc.  For me, the obvious choice was SAFEX.  The dev, Dan Dabek, is a genius, he really doesn't care about coin price, but is more focused on producing the viable product.

As for the product:
- A marketplace built onto an anonymous/private blockchain with (Is currently on the Bitcoin blockchain, but the real coin is almost ready for release and will be its own blockchain) with its own currency to boot.
- Token holders will have the opportunity to receive dividends on staked tokens.
- Marketplace sellers will benefit from a low 5% commission fee, which is much lower than most eCommerce places like Amazon/Alibaba, etc.

SAFEX is currently trading at a couple of cents, so it is hugely undervalued, given there's so much potential for this coin for 2018.

I do agree with Civic. I regret not buying it when it was 16 cents, but Civic do have some competition. The token is called thekey. I can't join ICO because of country regulations. I hoping to get some when it hit the market or maybe it already in the market. I going to check. I not a big fan on verge. Verge is a good team, but I don't think piracy is going to be as big as people think it going to be, especially with all these regulations going on. I could be wrong.

Agreed, got ETH myself and will be keeping that unless I find a top20 project that I believe  is undervalued in BTC/ETH terms of value currently.
