Too the top! Have gotten some interest from ALt-coin miners, and just wanted to reiterate I am more than happy to host whatever miners you want for however long.

Now have as customers:
Future Bitfury assemblies
1-3 BFL Minirigs

I spent most of the day touring warehouses, and found the perfect one. Plenty of space, cooling and power, and very very reasonable payment terms (HE WILL TAKE BTC!). Assuming all goes to plan, I will have this location in my possession by the 1st of October at the latest.

FYI: I would not post a picture of your hosting location.  My jaw dropped when I saw this.
Thats not the exact building, just what the exact building will look like. Its a cookie cutter warehouse, my city has ~150 identical ones owned by all different people.

Can you locate this place? No. Its a photo of a building not GPS coordinates. You bombing your competitors threads?

Besides, some investors like to see some actual results.

It has quite a bit of information in the picture that someone nefarious could start working from.  I apologize.  I will delete my other thread.   I just really was literally shocked.

Note:  I am very happy to see this person vet them self through John and wish them all the best luck.  For what is it worth, the location looks solid from the outside.

I purposely took pictures of what the building will look like, but not the one that I will choose. They are all roughly the same, just spread all over a 30sq mile area. I appreciate the helpful words :).

Thank goodness, that makes me feel much better.  It would be a blow to us all if someone bad happens to any hosts.  I am excited to see you get online.  If I get into an overflow situation I would love to swing some business your way and hope you would do that same.  Cheers.

Yeah, Im covering all my bases. I may not even be using that location in that city - got a very very very tempting offer for a location 15 miles out of town.

MinerSource.NET has partnered with BobSag3 for his vetting hosting of mining hardware. We already have referred several customers to his service. As we all know, time is of the essence in mining and we're hoping to offer our customers to have their hardware mining within 24 hours of purchase via BobSag3 This is a feature we are hoping to achieve here relativity soon.

Nice.

I'm a bit worried about the mains though. Do you regulate the power?
(UPS/over/under voltage protection etc)
(how "dirty" is it from the utility?)

We have:
Transformer (city)>outside breaker > inside breaker boxes > either UPS or high-joule surge protectors.

Also adding 8 more singles!

Oh good, I had the same reaction as Dalkore when I saw the pic :)

I don't quite get the fear of having the location of the hosting facility be known, except for the fact that it's being done on such a shoestring budget that it'll likely be left unattended for long periods of time, which is far from optimal. I'd be more concerned with sending valuable equipment to someone without knowing who they are or where the equipment will be located; maybe that's for security sake, but if the information that johnk has is available to any customer, you'd have to assume an interested adversary would get it too , by simply inquiring as if they are a customer or placing an actual order to have equipment hosted.

All that said, what is the staffing situation? What if someone needs remote hands? How will 2 people be able to respond 24/7? Are you aboth light sleepers, or located that far apart geographically that we can count on one if you being awake. And lastly,  what spawned this was security; given that the location will become known eventually, what is the security situation? If none, can you at least share how isolated it is from facilities with people present all night? Not like it's their responsibility, but just for the hope they could call the police if say, a moving truck pulled up front at 3 in the morning.

Knowing about the company, officers and other basic and important details is one thing and I make sure all my clients have these and I am certain Bob is doing the same.  Having information public on the ACTUAL location of the equipment is a bad idea.  People have different moralities and there are people who would not think twice about stealing property.   Like Bob, our customer's equipment well being is of our upmost concern and it would be irresponsible to give that information away.

So you could host one of those (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=303376) right away? VAT and european electricity prices render the auction prohibitive for people outside the US. How much would hosting one of those cost?

I suppose there is no way to control the miners by oneself, i.e. to have an SSH shell to make them hop between different SHA256 coins if one so desires?

My company has filed all the nessesary state & city paperwork, while at the same time I take the security of my facility very seriously. I have 3 IT professionals on hand pretty much 24/7, I live 1.1 miles from the facility and I do not mind having to get up to get things fixed.
Otherwise the security information I am willing to publish is right on the OP- IP Cameras + motion detectors. The facility is located next to 4-7 identical buildings, all with active and well known businesses with security of their own.

I want to offer a short review of bobsag3's hosting services (he hosts my Redhash). As someone who's been in IT for over 20 years and who owns an MSP company, I've had lots of experience with various hosting providers, and I must say that the service he provides is miles ahead of your average colo provider. The concatenation of personal approach and business professionalism he offers is certainly one of the very best I have ever encountered.

Selection of a hosting provider is a very "personal" matter, since everyone tends to have own unique requirements, but for what it's worth I for sure know who'll be taking care of my future hosting needs.

/DVB

P.S. I wasn't paid to write the above :)

Major Update!

We will be moving to a much large, much better facility here by the end of the month. There may be a short down time (its only a 90mi drive) while being setup at the new facility, but we will not be turning anything off right up to the last minute.

Building acquired :)

Could you make it so on the website it's possible to order the blackarrow hardware + hosting at the same time.

I'm in the UK, so easier to buy from you and have you host it, currently only allows you to select shipping.

Plus one to this. saves on vat, shipping and time.
Then can you sell off our equipment when we say for us on ebay or dz site? Please?

I think they might have an option currently for putting a note on the order or sending them an email.

The cost of the PSU would be the actual cost to us for the PSU, you can provide your own but it must be one of these and there is a minimum of a 3 month hosting contract by providing your own.

1) Corsair AX series
2) Corsair RM series
3) Corsair HX series
4) Evga 1000p2, 1000g2, 1300g2

Quit bothering Matt with your silly request! Can't you see that he's busy still trying to post images of his Professional Hosting Facility?

We are all moved into the new place, lots of updates and pictures to come!

And, Matt, when you do such, please make sure to crop out the plants, the hookah, and the screenshot depicting your Skype contacts. Also, clear the exif data so that nobody will know that your Colorago warehouse is located at https://maps.google.com/maps?q=3250+Oakland+St,+Aurora&ie=UTF-8&hq=&hnear=0x876c7b53c5df3cbf:0x220147301cdb0f76,3250+Oakland+St,+Aurora,+CO+80010&gl=us&ei=TQsBU4ihF-2yygHcp4DQDQ&ved=0CCkQ8gEwAA

If I don't get the refund in the very near future, this guy Matt will have serious legal problems. I'm quite tired of his Minersource company and the way he is doing business. If the info you provided is true (plants, hookah on the image), now I have the explanation why the things are so badly arranged. A guy with an altered state of consciousness just can't take things seriously and can't arrange good business. Such a guy just thinks that he is in the center of the Universe and he can do whatever he wants with his customers' money. I'm not joking, you will definitelly have very serious legal problems if I don't get my money back soon. Every single attorney will take this 100% profitable deal. You will pay 10x more or even will go to jail for wheeler-dealer finance.

Minersource support sent me a letter on Feb 22 saying that my refund had been sent. After a week of waiting I contacted my bank concerning the wire and got the following information. The wire had been sent by Minersource WITHOUT account number and beneficiary's name information provided. How was it at all possible to send a wire forgetting to provide the account number and the beneficiary's name? As the result the wire has been sent back to Minersource bank BOA. I wrote a letter to Minersource support. Is it at all possible to do everything right?

Title: Re: Minersource.net & Miner Hosting LLC: Cheap and Secure Hosting and Sales!

I wrote an email to Minersource support email address several times.
I wrote an email to Matt's email address.
I wrote Matt (@bobsag3) a personal message.
I wrote in threads where @bobsag3 chats.
No signle response in several business days.

I have to conclude that it really seems to me that the error in the refund wire could be admitted intentionally. Otherwise how is it at all possible to forget to include the account number for a wire you send? It is the most important attribute in every bank transaction!

The whole situation is nothing else but a blatant violation of the US consumer protection law. When I was paying I sent money (wire) to an official Minersource bank account. As there was a problem in the delivery of goods I preordered, I officially requested a refund almost a month ago and still have not got anything. My patience came to an end. I'll just remind Minersource owners one of my last messages:

You will pay 10x more or even will go to jail for wheeler-dealer finance if I file a lawsuite against Minersource.

Finally I got the refund but I'm really disappointed with this company. They must change the way they support their customers. They musn't ignore customers' emails because this is the most important thing if you conduct online business.

Tried to purchase Gridseed units from MinerSource last week (Mar 10th), guaranteed to ship by Mar 14th, paid w/BTC.  Guess what, nothing shipped, and I requested refund.  Granted, Matt answered quickly (and on the weekend), and sent refund, except the amount I was charged initially turned out to be higher that listed on the order page, and the amount refunded was about 0.03BTC lower than paid due to "refund fees"  ???

Deal with MinerSource at your own risk, they lost me as a customer.

First up, I'm disappointed at how long my order took to come to me.  Matt told me on March 12 that my order was shipping that night and it didn't go out until close to 10 days afterwards.  USPS records show that.

Second, they didn't ship U2 miners as we agreed, they shipped U1 miners.  We had agreed that U2 miners would be shipped, given the reduction in price for the U1 miners while I was waiting for the deposit to be confirmed.

What's most disappointing is that they responded to me while the money was pending but now that they have my money they are silent and did not ship what I asked for.

I won't be using their store again and I will be spreading the news that they are unreliable.  Not that it makes any difference to them at all as they don't seem to be responding to me.

If this were Paypal I would be asking for my money back.  It's stores like minersource.net that make dealing over the Internet a risky one.  Their store doesn't give people like me any confidence in doing business with Bitcoin.

Add to that, gawminers are great, they communicate well and sent me exactly what I had ordered.

Very disappointing minersource.net.  Angry
