Lets discuss, the relatively little known or not so popular coins, that are showing potential to become major league players in the future. I am jotting down 3 of my discoveries with brief descriptions of each coin, as to why I believe it will grow in strength:-

1. Jetcoin: Korean coin, investing in Sports (Football). I have been tracking this relatively unknown coin & have seen it grow in price & popularity. It has started sponsoring football matches in Korea along with other things. Can be a future gem.
2. TaaS: Among the first crypto funds that invests in Cryptocurrencies and pays dividend each quarter. It works like a mutual fund & in the last 6 months has performed well & paid good returns.
3. DBC (Deep Brain Chain): Nice concept, yet not in the front scene. Working on AI with a solid team.

I personally have faith that all the above coins will be goldmines in the next 2 years.

I heard only about Deep Brain Chain. I think whether it is worth buying it, I did not decide. I do not know about the rest, I'll study. Thank you.

for my cappacity was unknown until it grew in 100 times last january. it did cost 80 sat in december and 3100 sat in january. Tnanks to overall the price is now tasty enough for buying and there is the chance to take a part in second round of ICO in 1 week. This coin has huge longterm potential.

Are you think of potential in terms of the technical merits of the coin? Or are you thinking of a potenial in a price rise?

If it is the second, then concentrate on coins that have built a community and is marketing itself well.

The reason why Ethereum is more successful than Bitshares (which also does smart contracts) is because Ether marketed itself brilliantly during the period when Mike Hearn resigned from bitcoin and BTC was having lots of internal difficulties. They even managed to get a positive article written about them in the New York Times in 2015.

Ether's success is more down to the marketing than to technical merit.

This is the first time i've heard about this coins I didn't know about them. But i will study, thank you. It's really good to find promising coins early. I think kin and espers are this kind of coins. Their prizes is very low but they have growth potential. You can get huge profit from them if you can wait patiently.

I completely agree and they even keep releasing working product examples, demos etc. They are working with nvidia as partner if I am not wrong. It is one of the most ambitious projects in the market.

I have not heard of the 3 coins that you specified in the OP. I am going to check them out soon.

As for me, I would say, MBRS & NIO :)

I would not say that they will be gold coins, they are not as promising as you think, in general I think in a year or two years a lot of coins will disappear and really leaders will remain.

I'm betting on Cardano (ADA)!I bought these altcoins about two weeks ago!During this time,they have not grown,and even sagged in price!But I think they have prospects in the future!

If things go to plan with SAFEX, I cannot see any reason why i will ever sell, due to the longterm (forever) dividend stream that will come from the marketplace commissions, once everything is up and running.  There's still a ways to go to get there, but the key word in the OP is "potential".

As I understand, TAAS had good results also because of whole market's growth. Let's see how it will works next period, but I like TAAS, too, but waiting maybe a little better price.

2 years is a long time and I think there will be so many changes going on, like regulation, technology, market, etc.
for me this is too horrible, maybe I prefer to invest into altcoin that has a large community and a favorite of many people to hold.

CBX:- Bullion is my tip. Low marketcap and supply and loads of cool stuff on their roadmap this year.

Not sure, if its little known, but I see great potential for long-term success in VLB. They might change the entire car industry, if given a chance.

I can say oax is one of little known coins, though it has a great project. It actually extended all of its bounty campaigns but probably when they launch the exchange, it will make 10-20x  :D

I personally love coin named espers, watching how their developers working on chain to pos-pow combination. Their holders are generally fans and coin itself is so much cheaper than many others in the market.

I've heard of Deep Brain Chain, and agree it could be a winner. I don't hold any, but it's one I've been looking at.
Not heard of the other two. I'm not keen on sports coins in general so I'd rule out Jetcoin, but I will have a look at TaaS.

Well you are right VLB token would be great for long term and the potential to be successful project is very high because their project is base in the real situation in the car industry, they have car repair and maintenance, insurance and also they already have partnership in big transport company which is UBER that is why this project is recommended to invest. here is the link for their White Paper https://vlb.io

In my opinion, it is better to make your own research and trust your guts.

As I have seen from the market, the most of the privacy coins are undervalued right now.

The best opportunity is to find a privacy-related project with a low total supply (less than 100M), that way the price will be increasing much faster.

I recently found one project called Ethereum Meta, it is related to anonymity and untraceable transaction. They have a very interesting project to build the Anonymous E-Market Place.

I think you should prl on the choice.

Credits(CRDS) would meet your criteria. It's CPU only PoW/Masternode coin. MN ROI is about 19% PA right now. Total supply is 95,000,000 although that number will be reduced when version 1.2.0 is release in the next couple of months.

Everybody knows Pearl :) Almost all the forum bought from this coin, the number of people who are not aware is very small.
Nowadays the idex membership token has begun to be spoken. I think the price for the investment is quite good, the volume is low, so it can be bought easily :)

I really like the idea of aelf (http://aelf.io) though its community is starting to be known due to a bounty program

In my thought dent, rivetz, ethos were expected to make a big growth in the falling months before the year end. Long term holding even after the ongoing year surely can experience good price pumping on these coins which were not much known by the users.

If VLB can acquire the 12 million USD hardcap, i am pretty sure they will revolutionize the car-related industry a lot and will show the result in a not-to-long time since the ICO. Luckily they are gaining more popularity nowadays and make them a well known now, not a liitle known project anymore.

From those three coin i only know TAAS and also invest small ammount. Another i dont know. TAAS very slow growrth but steady and very well. I dont like token spike in one night and dump after spike because it will make coin death. And losing so many trust from investor.

SiaCoin (SC)

Decentralized storage. lately got a $400k round of funding with a purpose to focus on fixing problems and usability. it is nonetheless unknown if this approach of storage can compete with AWS, Google and DropBox.

Oyster Pearl - PRL is a little known coin (market cap of around 130th place i think). I believe it has a lot of potential to come in the top 50 area. It is a cool project for decentralised storage, where website owners can use the platform instead of ads (utilises some of the visitors CPU, but not obnoxious amounts like Monero mining - like the amount it takes to load an ad).

Also worth noticing they have coinburn coming up in around 10 days, and airdrop in April. Testnet is already online, Testnet B coming up in next weeks.

UBQ coin. An open team of highly qualified specialists who are actively developing and promoting the project.

There can be more RChain
The project behind the token is a decentralized block-platform platform, the device of which, according to the organizers, will allow processing tens of thousands of transactions per second.

if we think of the long term, we can not predict the future situations of such projects with such a good level because we do not know what happens after a certain period of time
