Bitcoin is real money. It's not 2010 ffs. Maybe you should take a little time to look over what you invested in so you can understand that your shitty government pumping out more paper money is literally worthless. How much was your fiat worth 100 years ago? Mine was about 25x as much as I can buy with it now. What a hyperinflating government run, bureaucratic clusterfuck fiat is.

Stick with your real money and thank me when the revolution happens.

Oh and to answer your question, an exchange. No one knows where you're from so how would we know how to answer that?

Since its ban in your country...i will suggest you find an individual buyer who is willing to pay u in fiat...or find or create an escrow group in your country and transact among each other.

Find a friend who would likely to buy BTC. If you can't find one, I suggest use localbitcoins.com its a p2p exchange so be sure to take security procedures before making a deal.

If you can't find any website that provides convertion for Bitcoin to your local currency then you can just post here in Bitcointalk wherein you are selling Bitcoin and you need this kind of currency, There are different users here in Bitcointalk and i assure someone will surely trade with you. But of course take precautions you need to use a trusted escrow to make this work or else one of you will surely scam. Goodluck

I would suggest trying LocalBitcoin.com

You have a few options to sell there but seeing as BTC is banned in your country then it's unlikely you would find local buyers that will pay in your local currency.

However, you do have the option of selling via Paypal. The benefit with this is that you can generally charge alot higher than the current BTC price. The risk is that you need to only deal with buyers who have a good reputation and trade history on localbitcoin. If you deal with a new buyer with no trade history then you run the risk of them doing a Paypal dispute once they have received your BTC. Once the funds are in your Paypal then you should be able to transfer to your local bank account.

The other option you have is to get a Payoneer account and card (It's Free)

Then sell your BTC on localbitcoin.com and select the Payoneer payment option, so basically, it will only show you buyers who are wanting to buy BTC and pay via Payoneer.

I think these are probably your best 2 options.

The other option, not ideal... is to use your BTC to buy electronic goods online or other goods that are fairly liquid and then sell them locally for cash.

I am able to take out money through Payza, but I am not sure if it is allowed in your country or not. You can check their drop down list. I used to use the card as well, but unfortunately they stopped the card but I can still draw funds directly to my bank account through a bank transfer and it only costs me 2.5 euros per transfer. I do this once a month to cover my living expenses. You can sign up and once you have used up a 500 USD balance you will need to get verified with some KYC documents but you can add your bank details straight away. Also I received my black CENTRA CARD, they have a wallet and APP and a debit card. So I will try to download the app today and use my card. If I am successful, I will let you know. It also supports other digital currencies, including eth, dash, monero etc.  :)

The best way and easiest way would probably be to find a person who would want to buy your bitcoin and in exchange would be your local currency. I know a lot of people who have been doing this to stay away from any bank transactions because some banks do not want or do question you where you get your money from, and even if you say it is from trading they might ban you too or something.

If your country bans bitcoin transactions, there are only two ways you can exchange legal money.
The first is to find buyers in private, in private transactions in bitcoin, but may face the problem of receiving black money.
The second is to go to another country, exchange it for USD, and change it into legal tender in your country.

Well the best and effective way to turn your bitcoin into fiat money is by using the application "coins.ph" that you can found in the playstore but you can install it if it is applicable to your country. All you need to do is to transfer your bitcoins there and then you convert it into your country's currency then there is an option there wherein you can cashout to different banks, atm machines or centers. With it, you can make your cash out transactions faster.

Be careful when transacting on LocalBitcoins.com for PayPal. I used to be a proponent of this method, as most buyers will give you 10-20% above the value to buy Bitcoin, but I have recently been charged back on two transactions. When looking for a buyer on LBC, make sure to thoroughly go through their feedback. You're looking for two things:

1. Make sure that there are no large gaps in the feedback. If there is a gap between trades, it is possible that the account was a dormant one that the original user has sold. They've lost the need for the account, and there are plenty of untrustworthy scammers that offer a good amount of money for accounts with positive feedback so that they can scam users.
2. Red trust. Filter the feedback by negative feedback, and see why the seller has left it. If it is for anything related to a digital transaction, then don't even consider selling to that buyer.

If you are planning on selling your Bitcoin on LBC, here is my recommendation: ONLY LOOK FOR BUYERS THAT HAVE 1000+ HIGH-VOLUME TRADES WITH OVER 98% GREEN REPUTATION.

You're going to be tempted to sell to the buyer that is offering 20% above true value so you can make a few bucks more than other trades, but for me, I only sell to 1000+ feedback accounts with no gaps in their trading history.

Other than that, if you're looking for an extremely reputable buyer, check out zazarb (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=369212)'s thread right here on the forums. I've personally done multiple transactions with him, and his fees are reasonable: [SELLING-BUYING BTC @preev+-%] Okpay, PM, Payeer,PP & Escrow service (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1092531.0)

Feel free to PM me if you have any more questions

You will just download this application and put your bitcoin on this application, there is a converter there,  convert your bitcoin into peso.  You can cash it out by the option also on the application and you can cash it out on selected banks.

You know what thats very difficult situation... It just like you are working hard but your own country resist it...  Its okay just find an alternative way...  You can sell it here or you can exchange it with a real money...  And if you find a website which you can exchange your coin into fiat money try it...  But always be careful what you are doing is risky...

Bitcoin ATMs are available in most major cities around the world and they provide a relatively fast way to quickly convert Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies into traditional, real-world money.
Many people use Coinbase and CoinJar to buy Bitcoin (and other coins) and cash out their profits via bank transfer as their cryptocoins gain in value.

Using a Bitcoin Debit Card
These cards allow their users to deposit their cryptocoins via an online website which automatically converts them into a fiat currency such as the American Dollar or Euro.

The answer to your question is to use Coinbase or similar exchange. If outside of US, can use your local exchange or localbitcoin (quite risky, select ones with 100% trust rating).

But 1 BTC it still 1 BTC, only chance for it to survive is the mass adoption. We need less speculative investors and more use cases. Try to buy items on Amazon (not directly of course), use bitcoin debit cards for shopping, pay online with bitcoin. Thus you contribute to the system. Trading bitcoin for fiat won't bring cryptocurrency any further.

There are several exchange sites that actually runs on bitcoin. Most of the sites has their base currency as bitcoin and ethereum. So, just move your money to an exchange site and convert to your local bank account or through available in your location. If there are no public sellers, talk to someone who can give you in their local currency.

Yes, there are many online trading sites that you can make exchange with your bitcoin into real fiat of your country. Make trading with them and transfer to your wallet once done. But choose the legit one because there are many scams trading sites that might steal your coins in trading process. And keep your private keys always protected.

Though this thread was quite months old. I'm wondering on what country the original poster is living. I'll take a guess that he's living in Bangladesh. After looking at LBC-Bangladesh, there are offers locally so he can take a look at it, I'm also wondering if the ban is strictly implemented there.
But if he doesn't want to try it out, he can send his bitcoin to an exchange and convert his bitcoin to PayPal.

I think you should use the strategy that most of the Chinese people are using. They have moved away from government backed institutions to Peer to Peer exchange. So, the involvement of Government has been bypassed and they are having one on one interactions. Although it is not as secure as government transactions are, but this certainly enables them to use Bitcoin as a currency. Apart from that most of the people who were dealing in bulk have already moved out of China to Hong Kong, which is considered a very bitcoin friendly country and have been operating in full force from there. If moving out of country or opening a bank account in a foreign country is not an option for you, you can start by selling your tokens on this forum under the lending section. You will find people who would exchange your BTC for money on PayPal.

Bitcoin is another form of money so ideally, you don't have to convert it into the fiat currency to spend it. However, we have to cash out Bitcoins because we don't have the crypto friendly market environment as of now in most of the countries. The best way I know it to find a domestic exchange or a reputed trader on Localbitcoins and trading through that way. You can decide your convenient payment method while buying or selling Bitcoins.

See, you are stating your point of view here but in OP the question is if country bans bitcoin. In that case I believe it will be very difficult to manage things and you may need to move to a better country, I believe. But I think there is a way like meeting and selling which will end the concept of anonymity and will involve risk of your life. According to me one of the solution is selling them for PayPal cash and then redeeming in your bank.

You can also make use of local bitcoin which will easily connect you to someone in your country who is in need of your coin.  Login to localbitcoin.com to sell off your coin for fiat.
