I'm out. Official pool is broken and not paying out to miners or even crediting them for work.

Devs seem 100% focused on money. They want to skim 10% off the top of EVERY block and auction MN from day 1. They have no real project focus.

Was running some numbers and calculations and I was thinking around 15 coins for 15 mh/s.   It's brutal with 11++ Gh/s already on the network.  I was excited to mine this... not so much anymore.  Either massive GPU farms jumped all over this or there is a lyra2z asic... who knows.

True, but you can have the same result with lowering power on your cards to others algos, for approximatively the same proft (coins with Lyra2z earn less in general than other algos at 100% )

For example, even with lowering to 60%, bulwark or lux mining is still on the top most profitable, with moderated heat and power consumption

More updates on the progress of InfiniDEX alpha

We have now moved-on to mock up the design of the Ui/Ux of InfiniDEX.  This is still at an early stage and things will evolve as we move along.
Just for an early preview, below is the mock up of what we have come out with.  The UI is done compatible to integrate with our C++ codes.
The theme used is a dark one but it is possible to theme it for a daylight version as well.  Also what is missing is the charts and it will be available soon.
Please feel free to give your comments in # suggestions section so that we can pick up some good suggestions on how to improve the UI.
We will be looking forward to let you guys test our the Alpha product real soon!

The project has been progressing very nicely.

Firstly, I would like to apologise as InfiniDEX Alpha launch would be delayed by 24 hours.

Currently node to node communication is working well but there are some bugs inside the code that I'm fixing.

* Alpha Round 1 would run for approximately 31 hours (will stop at 22 May 2018 GMT 00:00)
* This is a very first build, there would definitely be bugs for me to solve
* Our target for this round is as a proof of concept of running DEX over IFX MN network
* 100% of our DEX code are created internally, a lot of adjustment can be done to achieve performance & security that we wanted
* User Interface & Features would be added as we progress, we target to bring in a lot of unique features for the future releases
* Every user would start with fake coin of "10 BTC coins & 1000 of ALT coins"
* 10 trading pairs to simulate exchange is running

*About Charting
  - Trading view chart data is not live yet, currently we are displaying price data for BTC/USD
  - We have requested access from trading view & would implement our own live chart nearer to Beta release

* About Bid Ask Depth

As we are nearing the end of InfiniDEX Alpha Round 1 test, I would like to thank everyone for the participation in it.
We understand that there are quite a number of bugs in Alpha Round 1 but we promise to you all that we'll iron out those issue in InfiniDEX Alpha Round 2.

Our in plan phases:

InfiniDEX Alpha Round 1: Display proof of concept.
InfiniDEX Alpha Round 2: Fix up all the bugs in Round 1 & enable more trading features available in current market.
InfiniDEX Alpha Round 3: Fix up all the codes in DEX MN network side, implementing auto switch & auto backup features.

After 3 rounds of Alpha, we would move on to Beta phase:

InfiniDEX Beta Round 1: To enable all the features & more unique features that are present in other exchanges, will continue to use dummy coin.
InfiniDEX Beta Round 2: To fix up all the bugs in Round 1.
InfiniDEX Beta Round 3: Actual testing phase with actual coin going in, we would start with major top coins similar to current presentation, probably with reduced or zero trading fee.

After Alpha & Beta round completed, we would then prepare ourselves with upgrade of every users MN to provide the functionality of DEX. Once at least 50% of network converted, we would then start with actual launch of InfiniDEX.

Target remains achievable of Q3 this year.

We plan to have the Alpha Round 2 ready before 15 June 2018.
What we are expecting is to eliminate all currently reported bugs, add more interactivity (success in submit trade, fail in submit trade, total required balance, not enough balance, etc).
With Alpha Round 2, we expect it to be similar to the way in current market how exchanges should work in its trading features.

Alpha Round 2 would have longer test time frame for everyone of around 3 days, before we close it & proceed with in depth development for the process in the MN network.

@everyone Hi All, while our dev are busy fixing the major issues, let me share some details on the new user manager introduced in Alpha 2.  As our lead dev has already shared, 3 nodes has been allocated to manage the user manager to connect to InfiniDex Core during our Pre-Alpha 2 testing.  Potentially each user manager can handle 600+ users.  Currently we have well over 1000 masternodes distributed across the globe.  Once all the issues has been resolved, we are very confident we will be in a very good place for InfiniDex.

You can now mine Infinex and more than 200 coins at new autoexchange mining pool Zergpool.com (http://Zergpool.com) at 0.5% fee now. Please use following commands for different mining options
 
Option 1 Auto coin switch by profitability within algorithm with payment to wallet
Option 2 Direct coin mining to coin wallet
Option 3 Direct coin mining with autoexchange to specified coin wallet

Minor health issue popping up, need to get some rest over weekend to bring up my fitness.

With this, I would start the testing for Final Alpha on 23 July 2018 - 00:00 GMT.

Final Alpha would last for 1 week (end on 30 July 2018 - 23:59 GMT) to measure stability & accuracy.

Once we confirm Final Alpha is running well, we would start the Beta Phase with real live coin trading (deadline to Beta before 31 August 2018).

Hey, just curios what the long term plan is for mn's?
ATM node payouts are very small due to the low % allocated back to them and the number of nodes active on the network.
Will you be consolidating the nodes into super nodes or something equivalent to that when exchange goes final, or changing the collateral/payout to make it worth running them?

So far we are not making much announcement as we are busy doing up the code for InfiniDEX Beta.
Once Beta platform is up & running, we would provide everyone with the chance to test out newly revamped UI of InfiniDEX with actual LIVE coin.

As true DEX over MN, we would also be looking to enable cross trade / exchange function between different coins (without going through BTC) after DEX is LIVE, it's possible  as the code base is supportive for the function.

For the front end part (web, BTCT, Twitter, Reddit, etc...), we would be looking to place focus in that after we launch actual InfiniDEX (Product first before promote)

How many transactions can the exchange can handle at one time? Usually transactions are limited on decentralize exchange.

I like the idea of Masternodes are getting a sharing of all the profit. I am get a masternode to test it out.

I'll be shifting to new Home Office this Thursday (to prepare for new chapter in life end of the year :grinning: )
Initial plan to launch InfiniDEX Beta on Wednesday seems to be very tight as there are quite a number of relocation going on & I don't want to affect the support during release.
Thus I hope for patience & understanding from everyone to wait for few more days as I would push InfiniDEX Beta to release on Monday (01 October 2018) instead.

Hopefully we are the first to release true DEX over MN.

Lastly as per queries in channel about the DEX reward for MN holder, for more clarity:
* The reward is 50% of total trade fee collected & split for MN holder.
* Reward would come in BTC, ETH, DOGE (whatever the subpair is), e.g. IFX/BTC - subpair is BTC; IFX/ETH - subpair is ETH.
* InfiniDEX Beta would start with 0% trade fee (to attract users).
* Kindly wait for official announcement (in 1 month time) for MN holders to update their core Wallet & MN side node.
* After update, users would be provided with new field in core Wallet to input their receiving address for the trade fee (start with BTC, would auto add everytime new subpair added).
* Trade reward would be accumulated & distributed in fix interval automatically.
* Pro-rate distribution are calculated for MN who start late during the month or terminate the MN halfway (fair for everyone).

Some update for everyone on changes that is being worked on for InfiniDEX

1) First one is more of low level changes that need to be done & can't be changed once DEX goes LIVE.
It's about categories of messages that are being sent & received between nodes.
Current Bitcoin core have around 30 types of messages, so every time a node receive a message, it would loop through every single possible category before deciding where it belongs to.
Looping through 30 categories (although can be considered quite a lot) but as number of messages between nodes is not so much so its working fine.

For our DEX, currently we have around 100 categories of messages just for DEX alone (which is still growing).
Moving forward, as more traffic move up between nodes for DEX live processing (something like number of processes per second), looping through hundres of categories for every message would sooner or later cause performance hit in the speed of processing.
With that, we have implemented direct routing for messages categorisation so it should help with performance in the long run

2) This is more of a value (limiter) setup with value changes could be done from network. Its something like max number of messages of same category could be in single transfer, number of histories to display for users & others.
Previously we hardcoded the limit for those but we think moving it to changeable value should be better.

3) Currently CB implement login using something like username & password in private key form (which seriously I don't think anyone can remember the private key thus most of the people stored the key somewhere & copy paste it).
We don't think that its safe, thus the way we plan to implement is by using password defined by you (first usage of DEX), along with private key inside your computer to verify your identity. Your password won't be saved in the network (as we would only get the hash value generated from password & verify it). With that, for multi devices access, you would only need to copy the private key file to all your devices that you want to access.

4) Something that we plan but haven't really think of how to implement yet (need to read Bitcoin source code first to find the function). It's more of continuity for point 3. Transferring private key file is a hassle & could prove to be difficult to transfer it from PC to possibly mobile device app (which we haven't develop yet but definitely needed in the future). With that, we are looking to apply HD key (seed key, where users input 12 unique letters to generate key, something like hardware wallet). By using HD key, it would be easier for users to have access to their account on multiple devices.


This conclude the update for today & more frequent update will be coming.

More clarification on point 3 about the implementation details & security provided with public private key & password method.

When users first use InfiniDEX app, app would automatically generate unique public private key inside users PC. As it's a newly generated key, users would be prompted to input a password for the account.
The input password would be hash & ONLY THE HASH VALUE would send over to DEX network together with the public key & signing of the message using private key.
With that, nobody would know what your actual password is except for yourselves (as some users would always use the same password for every different platform thus we would like to prevent password leak issue)

Using above method, the verification of users identity would be through the signing of message using private key with password hash value in it & with the public key inside DEX network to verify users.
It added security where anyone who have access to your PC, without your password, won't be able to do anything with your account.
Anyone without your private key won't be anything to hack your account at all.

Ultimately, safekeeping public private key file & your own password is the only thing that you need to do.

Hi, are you sure that IFX has this kind of vulnerability ?

HUZU back at it again. HUZU will restart our HUZU chain within a couple of hours and start our swap process.

The issue HUZU faced yesterday was causing a mismatch in the amounts of HUZU addresses received when compaired to HOLD. HUZU able to track down what was causing this by having many eyes "some less tired than others" doublecheck what was happening.

HUZU will keep you all posted on the process once HUZU confident everything is stable and 100% accurate.

First, I would like to thanks everyone for the patience & support in IFX.
We release IFX on February 2018 & been developing InfiniDEX non stop from scratch since day 1 --- (7 months progress).

During all this month, everyone been with us going through multiple up & down (its crypto world!) & I personally really would like to thanks everyone for you to be with us all this while.

So far from what we notice, recently only two larger miner that is mining IFX, help supporting our network but selling back their mining (IFX) back to market everyday (which definitely put pressure on IFX as it's still young) but we think that it's good in the long run as their selling would help people who would like to buy to get IFX without pushing up the price too much & setting up more nodes to help with hosting of InfiniDEX.

As always, please don't push up the price as maintaining higher price is tougher when miners are selling hard (its different from years ago where home miners mining coin as hobby VS current large miners who mining for $)

Today XORN started the test of our MVP.
You can see the whole functionality on the screenshots hereunder.
Now we have registration, WIF key attachment to the account and ability to place orders on all CryptoBridge trading pairs.
Now the MVP is being tested, we hope that tests will not show any excesses and soon we will make our MVP public.

Wallet release V12.2.4a is now available. This is a non mandatory update @everyone that will make your nodes more stable and remove the chance of ending up on a orphaned fork.

This minor release includes:
-Updates to minimum version protocol
-UI changes to the wallet
-GCC size reduction

You can upgrade your VPS node or wallet via Github or the wiki guides.
