current news? it is good to see that bitcoin is pumping again after the dip, although it is not enough yet to say that bitcoin is soon to recover. by means of news, i dont want to read any news about crypto currency mostly in bitcoin, because after all FUD news before it is sad to say that more investors are believing on that, and creates more panic on some newbie investors that can cause of bitcoin price drop.

People were saying about Chinese withdrawing for Chinese new year. Binance issued its stats. And Chinese are only 3% of its user base.

P.s. Binance is the biggest exchange now in the world with over 5.8 Million users.

Excellent news, crypto-currencies take up an increasing part of our life, this can not but rejoice! The only question is whether this will work with normal speed and without errors. Because not all crypto currencies can provide all the necessary conditions for translations!

Right now it probably chinese new year. Once that is done hopefully we should see some nice gains in the market with fresh money coming in. Gotta wait about 2 weeks though to see.

I was reading today that a single btc address assumed to be a big whale pirchased 400 M usd worth Btc from the dip, now the market outlook has become positiveand we can see good bullish momentum in coming weeks.

don't forget that china is still largest hub for bitcoin mining .
just suppose china ban even mining or miners stopped mining then you will see almost a doomsday in btc ..

but nothing going to be true , neither govt can ban it completely .
nor miners will leave their profits .

however on mining bcoz of new rules in china , we may see new country as mining hub for btc and other popular coins .

I think whales understand that they cant make the price too deep. And they overdo with it. So trying to fix it

The hottest news is that south korea is not going to ban bitcoin and altcoins, they are most likely going to regulate it in some way. South koreans are relieved and are rejoicing by buying up as much bitcoin as possible which is driving up the prices again. Others are jumping on the bandwagon due to fomo and things are going back to normal  ;)

I think that the very basis of the news is that the Chinese new year has come and, because of this, the price has grown, there was a similar situation when it was just a new year

Is there a reliable source for that? At least we can see the address that bought 400 millions worth of bitcoin from the dip. I was thinking if that was true and then the whales will try to sell it again next year to make a big bearish and buy in another dip again. The market is going crazy when somewhere comes news about new regulation laws or official bans. Everything another (during last 2 months) doesn't have any influence on crypto prices.

This hottest news is 5 years old :). Every year we see this. Dumps and pumps in the same period of the year.

The growth of bitcoin, the growth of alts are a good investment for people with large capital. All this only makes us happy and makes us happier, more like that.

And not to mention that its their season to somehow spend money to celebrate so there would be more activities in their market. I guess after the chinese new year there might be another correction or it may just gradually grows again until the holiday seasons in which we will see another rush again.

I think there will be more money coming back to the market soon. You might consider to shift more investment from your high cap investments to the one with smaller cap and higher volatility.

Well, that on its own is pretty much good news anyway. After the long days of red, it is good to see some greens like fresh air surrounding the whole atmosphere. I also have some personal good news which is the fact that I have been making transactions these days on bitcoin and it has really made me miss those days of very fast transactions. Once the FOMOs come back now, there we will end up going again.

Good to see that market have recovered!!!. Truly amazing that everyone is green and are going to hit its previous highs. But I would rather see a slow growth. We don't want to get into the situation that we witnessed last December. There are irresponsible buyers that time who thinks that bitcoin is a get rich scheme, but they got burned along the way.

A steady growth is somewhat nice to see, no irrational buyers, the price doesn't look too artificial and so called experts will jump on and says that its a bubble waiting to be burst.

Let's see how it goes but I'm confident that we are totally out of trouble for now and may see all-time-highs. See you all at the other side.

Looking at history, most times when the china new year is over, the market usually gets pumped, with new volume coming in and increasing the value greatly.

However, to me the market is already picking up even before the new year ended and that is something that makes me believe that the china thing with new year stuff may have always just been a mere way people console themselves at times like this, while giving themselves hope. I may be wrong!

In fact, there is always news, and everyone in them is looking for their own sides, whether positive, or negative. Personally, I'm waiting for March, and I hope to improve the situation in the market of crypto-currencies.

A lot of people have so much been talking about this and I am really waiting at least by next week to see the impact that would have in the market. Moreover, I feel there could also end up being some coincidence because the market is already looking good at this stage anyway, but at least, if there is room for more growth, that won't be a bad idea. Let's see how it goes.

However, with the way things are going, I want to believe that the adoption of LN is going to be the most solid news that could cause some skyrocketing for the value of bitcoin, most especially when we start seeing real usage for it.

The most basic news for each of us is when the market stabilizes, bitcoin grows to its former heights, whether it is possible and, accordingly, what will happen to the alts with such growth. In general, there are a lot of news that only fuels interest and fuels competition. Oh yes, I forgot about startups, which are now in the trend.

I agree that among all the positive news this was by far the most important. If China bans foreign exchanges it will lead to money flooding out of the marktet. This can be compensated if new money from the US can get in the market, especially from Institutional investors. Once this happens China needs to figure out a way as they don't want to be left behind. That might change the game.

Money flooding in the markets is going to damage Bitcoin because it might not be ready for the transactions. I would invest in something that is close to Bitcoin or just invest with the same amount of due diligence on Bitcoin. China won't have Bitcoin banned unless they had full power over Bitcoin. Many of the guys that mine Bitcoin can post inside this thread at tell you that it would be very tough to challenge in breaking Bitcoin or Blockchain without knowing how to mine it. Difficult goes up as well, so the hardware would have to be constantly updating.
