if its only airdrop you just need to pick where you will participate and if you will buy coin just invest what you can afford to HODL
all coin have a possibility to give good return so if you will buy coin split it and HODL

It largely depends on the type of airdrop you participate or invest your money. For example UCASH is simply airdrop and was launched at $0.003, some days later the coin jump to $0.2. That's a huge gain from airdrop. What I can say is that don't just invest in airdrop 99% of it are shit but you can still get good ones.

I personally like you who do not like the airdrop for some reason. Indeed I do not like airdrop, Maybe because the coin obtained is not worth it and maybe airdrop can not make money.

Sometimes airdrop can give you free money , those example there are ebitcoin, postoken and the latest one is the ucash coin. If you are afraid to lose your money in an airdrop, then dont invest your money in airdrop. Just register for their free token that they will distribute to the participants.

Airdrop is a free coin, dont see a reason for me to hate it. I just usually stay away from airdrop that asked for donations or something because i dont trust it. I'm only investing to an ICO not to an Airdrop because it is more secure that way.

Not only the case of NXT its also using as a strategy for collecting crypto community data . As every one knows crypto community is small and each individual data values more . So lots of airdrop becoming data collecting strategy either they will misuse or sell it to others.

There are a lot of us here that got scammed by airdrops like me, where most of the airdrops that I did are all useless (shitcoins, as they say) that its value is continuously depreciating as time goes by. Well in his case, he should not stop joining airdrops by that just one experience, instead, he should be more careful choosing the next one by reading all the experience of the members of the forum about airdrops. Take it to his account the advice given so he could mitigate the risk in participating on one. There are still a few decent airdrops and it is our job to find it. Don't just go ahead participating on an airdrop without reading about it first because it is just as same as wasting your time when it is finished.

I agree with you, but still. This is certainly not the best kind of earnings, but it is free, it does not require any work, you just need to register and get free tokens. Yes, they do not bring much profit, but it's free.

Airdrops are free of charge and also how some Cryptos currencies launch their coin into the market or a way to market their way through into the Crypto space. I would advice you to continue doing airdrops as its free of charge. The only risk you have is your time that you are giving to it.

Lol because of this airdrop, I earned almost $2000, just pick the one that has a solid background and don't join all of them because we all know that %80 of airdrop are scams, if you're lucky you can earn a lot of money from airdrop for example is BitconWhite,Equal and Rebel :D

Although there are other things other than airdrop, yet that does not mean airdrop should be utterly discarded. You can be very fortunate to lay your hands or participate in an airdrop that would make much and better difference than those you may have done. The point i am trying to make is that there are still good ones among the airdrop. Notwithstanding, you can choose to venture into other aspects.

For me airdrop has been quite profitable for me, thou not all,alot are shit,Oyster pearl was a good one for me,over $2000 for free

I have participated around 25 airdrops, but have received coins only a few of them. Most of these airdrops are a scam. Now I only join if the project is good.

I joined Airdrops since I became Jr. Member on this forum and I am really excited about getting free tokens days after I comply all their requirements like email, liking, following, retweet, sharing and joining their social media like Facebook, tweeter, Telegram channel and all that stuff.
I had noticed that only few of them were really giving free tokens and most of them vanished like their websites down, social media inactivity and telegram channel were gone etc.
But there are some that they did give you free tokens but the problem is they didn't hit Crypto Exchange since last year until today, that's why my wallet was filled with shit coins from Airdrops.

I never joined Airdrops since I noticed that most of them were scams and fraud. I got free tokens from Airdrops but they just fill my wallet like shit and never hit any Crypto Exchange since last year until today.
It's better to join Bounty Campaigns than wasting time on airdrops.
Bounty Tokens you got from Bounty Campaigns are always more valuable than free tokens from airdrops.

You're not obligated to do anything you don't like.  Airdrops are a hit and miss.  Many end up being worthless and sometimes you do find one that is actually worth something.  One advice would be to make a new email to apply to the airdrops, otherwise you'll be receiving many spam/scam emails.

With the way airdrops are everywhere, it is quite difficult to know which one will be profitable at the end of the day but there are still some that are still okay.

Actually, airdrop won't give much contribution to popularize once ICO project.  Some other members getting through these as they think that they earned something on it,  truly it will but it only a small amount. Sadly most airdrop coins today won't make a sense, knowing that mostly of them have no value in the market. 

I don't like airdrop too. Some of them are on developing stage some airdrops are way of advertising coins that is going to scam. However they love to spam their request in the forum. They are into money they don't understand behind everything on it.

Actually I don't like a referral bounty programs , which nowadays often called "airdrops" . I never participate those campaigns , but I like a traditional airdrops and I think this is a good way to attract community to a project .

Airdrop is free to earn but you need also to find good that the token has value thats why they give it free because the coin that they hold are not valuable so if you find airdrop hold it and what fore the big price to make

Most of the airdrop give shit coins. It is much better to join in campaigns that will surely gives you reward. I been also took some airdrop then and I earned some on them and I stopped because some are just scammed account. When we are gaining, we are lucky, and stop when we already find out that it is not worth anymore.

Dont hate airdrop because airdrop is sharing some coin to give people, and not all airdrop is worst so that find good airdrop.

Airdrops may be frustrating a times.  You will spend some good amount of time on many of them and they still give u coins that is almost worth nothing in the end. Though some airdrops are superb such as polymath,  ucash,  paretho etc.

I like airdrops. It has given me some good returns which I used to invest in other projects. What I don't like are scam airdrops and/or paid airdrops. Aside from that, what I also don't like are the airdrop hunters who dumps the moment they have the chance. They don't even give the project a chance to grow.

I don't understand why we should dislike airdrops . This is an easiest way to spread tokens to community , participant only need to fill-up the form and wait until the tokens distribution begins . You receive some tokens for free , why you don't like it ?

You can't say that because case of NXT only,there's so many airdrop has succeeded and get pay on time. Maybe you follow NXT and fail but fail is part of risk, you should understand that. For advice, before join airdrop you should research first about the program and never follow it if the program doesn't have enough information. Be careful and never lost faith with airdrop.

As an Airdrop hunter, It's a common thing to get scam or worthless airdrop. You need strong mentality to submit and search any airdrop events. If you lucky, you can get valuable airdrop coins or tokens.

airdrops means free coins, and there is not much to expect from something free.
I am happy with my coins which I so far collect from airdrops.
And some of my coins i sold and i got a smart amount of btc from them.

Not all airdrops are really bad as you think. There are some that are legit and of course, backed with a very strong team that can give you good profit. Consider eBTC, eCASH, BLUE, BTCRed and others - they are a heck of an airdrop that can even make you rich.

There's an exception, ebitcoin eltcoin and exrn are jus three of the exceptions, there could be more exceptions because so many airdrops are being held, claiming airdrop is not really time-consuming it only takes a minute to participate so why make a big fuzz out of it.

Air drops gives us money , Airdrops help people to get money. Airdrops is the starting line for newbies like me..

we have option to join and not to join. if you hate airdrop remember there is also loving it. airdrop is free money but only a small amount. i have done airdrop and it give me a small money but it is okay cause free. you just have to fill the form after that you you can get free coins but sometime you get nothing. airdrop requiring donation or deposit are not free so better avoid it.

This is your opinion op, but the majority of the crypto community members including me like airdrops primarily because we only stand to gain and not lose anything(As long as we don't make any silly mistakes). For example, the recent Oyster Pearl airdrop handed me almost $10k profit for simply filling in a form which is insane if you think about it. I usually don't sell my coins as soon as I receive them since I like HODLING for the long term which is why I tend to mostly earn big profits from some airdrops for simple work which is worth it even though most airdrops are scams in disguise.

I like airdrops because you can get free coins by just filling up something. This also gives you the opportunity to HODL a coin that may become valuable someday. For example is Polymath made an airdrop a few days ago now it's already 1 $ each coin.

Airdrops can be quite profitable when we have the fortune to join the right option, but it is difficult to find a good opportunity in the middle of the immense amount of airdrops that appear available every day. I think the most successful airdrops I've seen so far is Deeponion, although many seem to agree that this was not a true airdrop, but a signature campaign. Anyway, I think it is always advisable to be cautious when sharing our data or private information when registering in an airdrop.

People have their own decisions in choosing the way they will earn money. You can dislike airdrops because of your experience but it is not the only one airdrop in the crypto world. You can try some. For me, airdrops can be profitable because you will just sign-up and wait until you receive your tokens. I have joined a lot of airdrops, some are satisfying but some are not but it is ok because I lose nothing. There is no wrong on trying.

 75% chance that airdrop is fake.
But there is still a 25% chance that it will boom and give you free $.
Low possibility means it is still possible.
So why not fill up the form and participate on it. It only takes a minute to fill up the form.

Why are so many people hating on airdrops all of a sudden? For the love of god, it is free money being distributed to random people around the world. What is there to complain about here? It is obvious that you are a crypto newbie if you fell for the traps laid out by scammers(Gave away your private key, downloaded random wallets etc). No one is forcing anyone to apply for airdrops since it is completely optional.

I do agree that majority of the airdrops are useless and only a few are legit, but there is no harm in applying since there is nothing to lose. Also, I earned close to $10k from the recent Oyster Pearl airdrop. Just saying.

I think if you do not like airdrop, you should just ignore it. it will not hurt you, you know, everything that comes with crypto. you should study it and analyze it before you get stuck at a loss.

That's just one Aidrop situation though..  If this is the only reason why you do not like Airdrops then it's not a valid reason. If you had multiple situations that went south, then I would excuse you.

You need to do your own due diligence before signing up to any Bounty or Airdrop campaign, some coins or tokens might not be successful and you will not receive your tokens as "promised". Look for successful ICO's with a promising future ahead, and do not look at the amazing price they offer. Be cautious of scams, do research!

Especially when you fill out the Google form all day long, and in the end, out of 100 companies, tokens are sent by 5-7 companies. And after that, from these 5-7 tokens take off literally 1-2. I consider this an unreasonable waste of my time. But this is my opinion. Your right to disagree with him.

You "claim" the airdrop.
You will earn or not.

This is your choice, but do not judge airdrop for one case, the more you did not spend a single cent to get free coins.  There are many cases where airdrop is very profitable, so do not forget about it.

There are different kind of airdrops. NXT is not a good example in this case. They have a very good team and projects (ardor/nxt/ignis are all good projects). They called it "airdrop" but the idea was holding NXT for IGNIS, which were more valuable than NXT at that moment. On the other hand, the usual "airdrops" are just for promotion and most of them are useless. You should join many of them to get some profit. The usual airdrops, I do not like anymore since it is hard to find an airdrop of good projects.

Without any Doubt , I always prefer Bounty because Bounty will reward me for my hard labor whereas Airdrop is like as a free gift without any work to except filled up a simple Airdrop form. Though most Airdrops are fake, but All Airdrops are not Scam. An Airdrop is a free giveaway of premised coins, moreover Airdrop is a fast way to get a large number of users, and it's easy to get a strong community.

If there is an airdrop and we do not know if the token given are true then we  will be patient enough because in this world there are true and not true so if the token are given has the value then good ,if the token given has no value then try another next time.

But the cause of NXT fell there are a lot of, some large financial institutions clearly manipulating the prices of the NXT, they use the NXT snapshots can extend new tokens of this point in time, crazy sell the NXT, and we, just wait for the new tokens snapshots. >:(

Most of these airdrops are a scam and useless. I have participated in many but haven't been beneficial for me, so at present, I don't join many.

To be honest I don't like the airdrop to , my friend recommended me to participate on the what so called the bounty and yet I said why don't join on the airdrop, airdrop is where you can earn a free money. Some airdrops are advertising in terms of promoting a project that will be introduced to the market and this free digital money can be very valuable in the future. Many of them can be worthless or scam and we need to do a little research while we are before participating. Some airdrops are meant to promote a new digital currency through an existing project and if enough time is given, the new digital currency can be a very profitable return. Personally, i don't join all airdrops but some are good opportunities for profit.

I agree. Do not spend Your money so easily on Airdrops, because most airdrops that ask for donations are a scam, and the tokens they give you are trash tokens. Do not be persuaded by these kinds of airdrops. Instead, try to register for free airdrops that do not ask for any money. I like airdrop months ago compare to airdrops right now. Those airdrops 3months ago is very profitable than now that are full of scams and fake airdrops. When airdrop name was not so familiar, its very profitable mate, but look at now. Many of them trying to gain more followers so they providing the name of coin and their social media accounts. Airdrop is a choice, airdrop never force you to apply or join because some poor people like me are so happy having token from airdrops in our wallet. Not all people are lucky to recieve a nice and worth it token in any airdrop but i assure you dont  airdrop is a free or a gift from a campaign and you will never be lose in an airdrop not like in a investment your not sure that your money will increase for a good investor.

That may be true, and who doesn't like something for free, right? However, I think many people have seen airdrops in a darker light because of the controversies that are tied up to it. Although, it is free money, no doubt, it has also been used by many shady characters to trick people into giving out their wallet information, and ultimately, steal people's holdings. Some even make scam sites where you would unknowingly register just to find out that your coins would be stolen after that. I think that it has its pros, but you should enroll and check airdrops carefully to avoid being scammed.

i dont like airdrops too, it looks like a mess into my MEW. Ill just prefer to buy potential coins than wasting my time and effort joining airdrops . Its once in a blue moon to find  true and legit high paying airdrops. Ill just join bounty campaign and give all my effort atleast i have the chance to hold the coin i want and gain more profit. Yes I agree with that I also hate Airdrop before but I realized that if you joined a better Airdrop you may earn much better like in a campaign and I knew it to my friend who earned as much as I earned from may ICO that I joined before that's why I also joining now all Airdrops that my friend give to me that I also get some stuffs from it and maybe some big earnings that my friend also earned before, So just try some Airdrop some time.
