good project but i missed ico. i have questions. when we submitted our personal details in to ico pass other icos can access to your database and check our details. am i right ? how can we trusts about safety of our personal details. then i see who wants to pay it we or ico owner. but i think this is easy to us. almost icos request kyc now. we can save time of the submitting these details into icos ;D. good work

You have not missed the ICO. It will start end of February.
As for your question. You can control who can access your data. Once you pass the KYC you can encrypt your data so that only ICO organizer you want can decrypt it and use. We will offer all the tools necessary to do that in a secure manner.

What exactly Civic does? Can you be specific about this. In our experience Civic does e-mail verification good but does not work well for KYC that is needed for Financial companies.

Regarding a website for Airdrop - we are following the way how most of the campaigns are organised. We did not want to overcomplicate things.

Also, forgot to mention about Civic. I have not seen that they offer a tool for ICO organizers that allow automatically refund funds if it comes from an un-verified wallet.

The price will be determined in Dutch Auction. In a Nutshell it works like this: the price starts high and then lowers until all tokens are sold.

This is not a uncommon way to do it. The U.S. Treasury uses a Dutch auction to sell its securities. To help finance the USA’s debt, the US Treasury holds regular auctions to sell Treasury bills (T-bills), notes (T-notes), and bonds (T-bonds), collectively known as Treasuries. Prospective investors submit bids electronically through TreasuryDirect or the Treasury Automated Auction Processing System (TAAPS) which accepts bids up to 30 days in advance of the auction.

Google opted for a Dutch auction to earn a fair price on its public offering. Prospective buyers submitted bids based on the number of desired shares and what they were willing to pay for them. After the auction ended, underwriters sifted through bids to determine the minimum price they would accept and landed on an IPO of $85 per share.

To our mind, the Dutch auction is a straightforward way to establish the true fair market price for an ICOP, ensuring participants are aware of what they are getting in return.

Having looked into smart contracts used in Dutch auctions, we found the type used for Polkadot’s ICO to be the most suitable. It is tried and tested and the result speaks for itself, with a lower level of risk involved for us and potential contributors. As we are going to use smart contract, there is no need to wait for everyone to submit their offer. Bidders can see the price upfront. The sale will start with an initial 15% ETH bonus for the first hour. For example, a 100 ETH purchase in the first hour will cost 115 ETH a day later for the same number of ICOP tokens. For every period where 2 blocks are confirmed without new contributors, the early participation bonus will drop by 1 percentage point. After the 14th drop or 24 hours elapsed (whichever comes first), the early contribution bonus will end. The auction will start with a very high ICOP price and decrease, quickly at first and then more slowly. The initial price will be so high as to make it impossible for anyone to force the sale’s end by buying all the ICOPs immediately.

If bidders feel that the reached price is reasonable and they are ready to commit, they will send ETH to the bidding address, guaranteeing their tokens at the reached price or lower. If done during the bonus period, the smart contract will treat the amount as though it is up to 15% higher than the actual price and allocate ICOPs accordingly.

On each bid the smart contract checks if the total amount bid is enough to buy all ICOPs at the current price. The price will gradually go down from there, and the calculation redone for each bid.

When all ICOPs have sold or the time expires, the auction will end. The ICOP price will be the final price at this point. If all ICOPs were sold or the auction time expires, ICOP price will be calculated by dividing all ETHs transferred with total number of ICOPs available (20 million).

And for becoming a KYC service provider, do you have to acquire a certain license or could any company provide KYC services? The question might be difficult because you aim to operate globally of course, but maybe you have some info regardless.

All KYC providers need be able to provide with reports that then can be rolled back and checked. In every country there are a little bit different legislation at the moment so the way how checks are done is a little bit different. If the Project actually provides what it promised, it will remove a great burden from the shoulders of the bounty attenders and ico participators. If it can stick, it will bring great earnings as great participation will be provided, however, if it does not stick, it will take its place in coin cemetery. It is a risky Project, unfortunately, but if you have an investment for which you are not afraid to lose, you may try it.

How this may help the project development that regulation in this ecosystem looks so complicated to be discussed in large communities as EU?

Your concept makes a lot of sense of course as over time it would only be reasonable for global KYC standards to be developed as we get more and more globally connected.

There are two things: regulation regarding KYC in general and using ICOs as a way to support innovative product development in EU.

KYC Regulation. European Commission are coming up with regulations that all Member States need to follow. In practice we have seen many other countries to follow EU guidelines as well such as Switzerland (this is because of the strong ties to EU). We are working closely with EU bodies in order to be sure that there are no road blockers for use of innovative technology. E.g. that remote identification can be done in fully automated manner. It could be that in future some other companies come up with solutions the meet those requirements, nevertheless we will have first mover advantage when that will happen.

Supporting innovative products through ICOs. EU has publicly announced that they are looking for new ways how to support innovative product development and ICOs might be one of the ways. Having a solution that meets EU KYC requirements, will be critical for those companies to receive funding.
