It's an ico, they want to create a full exchange based on telegram and more messagin apps

I would invest in 1 of the 5 you suggested and that's ETH. If I had to rank them in order it would be this. Eth > ADA > SIA > XRP > XLM.

Out of principle I wouldn't invest in XLM or XRP.

Bitcoin is probably the best investment choice. So BTC + ETH, probably LTC also. Then 2 alts of choice, I like coins looking to enter payments, UTK is one in this area, then I also like coins linked to decentralized exchanges, right now I'd pick IDXM, it's hard though because they're only really succeeding right now because there are no viable options.

Just wanted to point out that XLM already has a number of decentralized exchanges linked to it, such as StellarPort, StellarTerm and Stronghold, which are built on top of SDEX (Stellar Decentralized Exchange).

XRP (Nano) is not a good investment in next few months, because hackers who stolen the 10%+ of the circulation supply will try to sell it somehow.

ADA is wayyyy overpriced.

ETH is good with combination of NEO. Stellar is OK too.

I have invested in the two bigger boost coins that is zclassic which will rise much higher till 28th February because of the bitcoin segwet conducting by the developers of zclassic who will distribute bitcoin private on BTC and ZCL holders and also invested some amount in ETC which is also expected to rise much more in price.

Why do not you add Neo in these top 5. I am pretty sure that we will have a wonderful year of Neo similar to 2017 Ethereum year. Lots of ICOs are coming out in Neo ecosystem and they make fomo in the commodity.
I have no idea about Siacoin, people talk about that but I think it is not in top 5 coins to invest.
Ada is increased a lot and it may not have more way to go imo

Try investing in tokens they are similar to coins but they give profit mostly and I find it to be very easy to buy and use.

This is bitcoin forum but the speculation about the other alts has been open to discuss here and the administrators allow to do so since its so boring if we just talk about the bitcoins growth and we need more alternatives rather than sticking for the no.1 alts where for me is unreliable to trust since there still a downside always coming on it.

I think the following is a good coin sequence to invest from the highest to lowest start, At the moment Bitcoin suffers attacks on external and domestic markets:

Valid point but as I said I steer clear of all things ripple and lumen. The way the tokens are distributed is too shady for me. As of yet there is no DEX that's really taken over from ED and improved greatly on what was offered. IDEX is doing a good job but I feel it will eventually be replaced.

Market is full of many coins, some invest on instincts others on market cap. Which is good option is depended on maybe current money conditions but my pick is ETH for the moment, maybe later this year i will change my mind but for now i will hold on to ETH.

Big question here is what the right time would be to sell Zclassic!?

Absolutely agree with ADA - ADA will very likely be top 3 in the coming few years.

Trading and making short term profits is different thing.For that alts can be really useful.
For the long hold Bitcoin is the coin you should always pick and prefer to own.

Bitcoin, ethereum, litecoin, monero and one new different coin that they should risk. I don't believe there are any top 5 deserving coin still. Sorry.
Ripple doesn't deserve place.

The most of the privacy coins are undervalued right now.

The best opportunity is to find a privacy-related project with a low total supply (less than 100M), that way the price will be increasing much faster.

XRP should be deleted from this list, at least for the near future. Such a price as before will not be long enough, the coin is thrown by investors.

It depends on your expectations. If you are planning for future with secure coins bitcoin, ethereum, monero, neo and litecoin are best to hold. If you need bigger profits its better to invest in in somewhat unknown ambitious coins like hive..

I think this is good time to invest alternate coins. Almost all of the alternate  coins are very cheap now. I think xlm and ada will go 3x for usd.

I think the answer is quiet simple, just look at the top five market cap list, that is the choices from most investor, I think these coins are suitable for long term investment, but for short term investment, you can buy some new coins like ht and eos.

Why dont you Add some more coins like NXT, Wave , NEO and LTC ! XRP need some more time to rise ETH and XLM unpredictable , other  side ADA relativity with ETH ! and Siacoin got many rumors ;)

Now it is very difficult to choose coins for investment. The market is bearish and this causes panic sales. I would recommend refraining from investing in alt coins atm. You can invest only after a market reversal.

1- AMBROSUS (AMB). x20 at least EoY
Why? One of the best teams out there. The OG's of IoT. Tokenomics will be updated next month.
They have confirmed Master Nodes. At this price it is an absolute steal. The team said they should easily reach VEN levels MC.
Parterships, not disclosed, however, some people have been doing research and it seems they have really, really big things going on.

My choices will be Ethereum, NEO, and Ripple because only these three coins are very appealing for me. Since Bitcoin price is also down, I might reconsider to buy some. 

Instead of worrying about these many coins and keeping track of all simultaneously, much better will be to replace them all with only one crypto currency that can produce more profit than any of these or even collectively. Skipping bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin and such potential crypto currencies means wait for decades to make some real progress. Buy one bitcoin and hold it till the end of this year, earn a profit of at least 20k dollars. It is much better than going for five different coins.

Yes, there are a lot of good and valuable coins on the market, but now the trend of pennies is declining and I think this is normal in this market. Personally, I think the best 5 coins are BTC, ETH, NEO, XMR, EOS and I think it will benefit everyone in the future.

Good question. it is not a simple choise. in my opinion the most profitable project in 2018 are Zilliqa, Bluzelle, wanchain, elastos, binance coin. All of these project has strong team,  good tokenmetrics and nowadays small capitalization.

I raise high hopes for NEO and Bitcoin. Bitcoin will always be the leader of trade, the entire market is moving behind him. NEO has very great prospects.

The majority of people are divided their amount to search the more volatility and minimize the risk. if you are seeing the majority can get the easiest pump just in a day and it will be possible to increase more than 50% in a day which will be so difficult if we are putting all of the amounts into the bitcoin.

I agree with you on the point of investing in ETH and XRP but my priority list is different with coins like Waves,NEO,LTC,ETH and major coin of all bitcoin and i am preety much sure that these coins have a bright future with great price boost over next few years.

That is a good collection but only for the four of the coins while I am not in the favor of siacoin as I am not seeing any development which will boost the price like other coins which can make a person rich sooner. Instead of that coin why not is it good to add XVG coin as it will have a better future because of the mass adoption for which the development team is busy.

Today I look in the direction of small coins that can be purchased during and ICO. For example: the same OPP Open Wi-Fi, this coin can bring significant gains over 2-3 months.

I've been partnering Siacoin with DGB before. They are both cheap and fast but its been said that two has its own potential. But I had to dispose them and needs to stick with a stronger coin such as bitcoin and eth. I do not think that the etherium will bring you a good profit. I do not believe in ripple, I think that the Siacoin is not a serious coin

I think it is a good list, except ripple. I am strongly thinking that, ethereum and stellar can be good selections. Both are popular and I think both have a very good potential.
