anything price greater than the highest peak will do. We dont need to expect so much because it may lead to disappointment.

40k dollars i guess. going above that will require massive marketcap. it may cross 50k dollars in next year but according to me it will be within 40k dollars this year. whereas on other side i guess XRP , litecoin , verge , iota. i expect massive rise in these altcoins atleast 5X by year end.

Not really a big fan of people asking questions like this, because no one here (nor no one in the world) really knows what's going to happen during a year in Crypto. Some people, without a doubt may have a role in influencing the price of bitcoin and the other cryptos through news, mass amounts of money, and some other things. But there is no way that even they know how much of an influence they're going to be able to place on Bitcoin, so it's not like they'll know either.

Quite a lot will really be seen in BTC after along run. We all know the turbulent happening on it and I guess this changes deals a lot more often of the price. Well for a wide guess I go for the middle answer of 40,000 since it is not so high or low in the choices.

You are very great at installing huge predictions, and I really agree with your predictions, and I also think that bitcoin will soar up to 40k in 2018, and I expect the bitcoin price in 2018 to exceed my prediction price.

I believed bitcoin price will become $50,000 and if that happen we will earn a lot of profit after few months or in this year 2018. But we are not sure about the real price of the bitcoin after few years.  We can predict only the possible price and it's not 100 percent.  Make your speculation about bitcoin price so you can decide if you want to invest or to sell your bitcoin.

yes, bitcoin in 2018 makes everyone do a different speculation from the previous year. because the accident this year is also different.

tomy lee says that bitcoin in this year will reach $ 50K, and bobbly lee says that bitcoin in this year will reach $ 100K.

By the end of 2017 yesterday the price of bitcoin soared and very special that the price could reach $ 20,000 and that price with a tremendous increase, and on the way in 2018 this early slightly decreased in price, and I hope it does not last longer, and I want the bitcoin in 2018 to walk again to $ 45,000 and above.

Probably the more realistic thing it to get it stabilize over 20K rather than expecting it to reach 40 or 50K.

As we all know that bitcoin is already reach 19k$+ in a few months ago. Also bitcoin is the most popular cryptocurrency in the world. So it is possible bitcoin can reach 30k$+ or 40k$+ in 2018.

40k is a fine line as bitcoin is struggling in early days of the year but good news can come after may as some new things are going to implement. Fake ICO's are going down and only the real ones are going to stand.

We never know bitcoin price will be but we can only make prediction and analysis. A few week ago, I read article that expert in financial industry said that bitcoin will going to $50k end of this year. I hope so because that will make other altcoin will rising too

I do not care too much about this. BTC is too safe for long term investment. There are a lot of comments on the bitcoin value this year. I will not comment further, just wait in a relaxed mood. It is good for health and has time to look for opportunities at other atlcoins.

some prediction says bitcoin will go up to 50k but for me 30-40k is hard to climb now because of this continues dumping of coins. but we cant predict it bitcoin is very unstable in price, we need to wait what will be the price of bitcoin this year.

I have a strong feeling that bitcoin could hit $35000-$40000 this year. Alot of people wants to invest in bitcoin and most specially these financial institutions who eagerly want to enter bitcoin. As days passes by alot of people recognizes the potential of use case scenario of bitcoin. We cannot deny that bitcoin is the future so everybody are trying to invest on it.

I agree with you mate. But for me bitcoin price will climb and reach 30k-40k before this year 2018 ends. As we noticed, bitcoin prices was increasing every year and I do not know exactly the reason behind of this price increase. Maybe it could be the increasing demand and popularity of bitcoin. That's my thought.

It is good to me even the price will hit around 15k usd. At least, it is possible to reach. Too much expectation from anything will disappoint you if it will fail. So, better to dream something that you know it will reach your expectation.

There is no restriction on daydreaming and I wish it come true ;) however in reality, I think can go to $30k a max in 2018.

i think you need to predict opposite direction now
when year finish price of bitcoin be closer to 1900 dollar than the high numbers that you say , maybe even it fall even low down until reach below 900 dollar i think this more likely

i do not have with me huge crystal ball which has reveal this thing to me ;D ;D ;D but in this place i think i have seen it how things will move and how it will work so for me i say 1900 or 900 dollar price will be this year

In my opinion 30k will be the least amount of the bitcoin at the end of the year 2018 Because the main reason is that the price of the bitcoin increasing per year by 10 times , so here we can expect that even if the bitcoin's  price will have stability then it will have price to about 30k ( as already it was near to 25k+ all time high in the last of 2017 year ) , so we can easily expect this 30k$ per btc .
And I can expect for the increase in the price of the bitcoin by 40-50k$ easily and that will not be that high value according to up in price by 10 times.
Well here all types of discussion are worthless until we tell about the bitcoin to everyone because if no new person will enter in this field then how we can expect that demand will increase easily at high value .

What is happening now is not bad. Correction is a must.
I think 50000 dollar is still possible. There are still 9 months left until end of the year. See the chart in 2017. The price rose 10 times in a very short time.

I will be very happy if the price reach 30k this year, Bitcoin price got a major correction when it reach around 20k, it's mean that the investors target is around 20k last time, this year Bitcoin got a rough start due to the numerous of problem, from the transaction speed, until the legalisation, I don't hope too much this year if Bitcoin could stable in 25k then it's a good thing for me

$30,000 - $40,000 seriously is quite high in my opinion but I'm happy if this will be for real. The current price went down to $9,500 and our happiness if it stays above $10,000 failed. But I don't know on how long will bitcoin stay at $9,500. Maybe it will be fine for a couple days, other alts are fine now but our best buddy is still on negative. Give him a couple of days and it will return to $10,000 soon.

Bitcoin will go up a lot in 2018. The price of Bitcoin has gone up a lot in the last year but I think it can go beyond 50 thousand dollars this year.

I can imagine bitcoin’s market price to rise more than what was being given as choices. As we can observed, bitcoin have climbed back to 11,000 in just a span of two weeks.

Bitcoin can really hit $30k this year its just a matter of time before bitcoin to go up again. I see that the price right now are quiet stable and it can start to pump again next week. There is no right prediction specially in highly volatile market but believe it or not, everything is possible here.

I feel like that bitcoin is going to be a lot more quiet in 2018 compared to 2017. What happened in 2017 isn't to be expected to happen every single year either. As great as bitcoin is, it just can't promise that kind of returns to investors at all.

I think that we'll most likely float around the $5k to $15k range throughout the year, with some ups and some downs.

at all events with price figures later I still believe that bitcoin will reach its glory point. but, I do not really know the price will be at what number and obviously we will repeat the success in 2017 ago, so far I always hope the best and always think positive about the future.

something I very much doubt about it, since 2017 was already marked by the price of 20,000 dollars, then 2018 will have to be satisfied only at the price that is already available today. if you look at the chart fluctuations in the price of Bitcoin, then the results are quite deplorable and you can not see the zeal of lifting up.

Any moment should always be a happy moment. In fact, even when people are predicting whatever may be happening with bitcoin, it is always good to see it as a good moment. It has been lower than $10000 and we all do not know if it can go lower, but this is more like a good chance to just keep loading up more because that would make it worth it when we start testing the previous tops.

Looking at the way things have been and some possibilities of what we may see, I really do not see any of these options playing out yet until we can at least break out from this trend and test the previous ATH and also get past that.

Most probably the price will be around 7k to best max price 18-19k I truly think the market is being manipulated but due to the lack of proof...

Most of the altcoin market are trying to do well for now, and I would not be very surprised if bitcoin starts issuing us some surprises. I am not after the whole $30k or $40k upward for now, what I am after is seeing bitcoin out of this red channel called a downtrend. At least, if it likes it can keep having a good time consolidating and giving us chance to accumulate, but as long as we are still in this trend, nothing is guaranteed.

Keep thinking bro! And I hope your thought would come to realization for you but as optimistic as I am with bitcoin, that is not just realistic. I know a lot of people may expect that the same way bitcoin started a huge bull run last year, we should end up seeing the same thing again this year, but one thing is that we cannot always judge based on that and the people that live better in this market, are those who just see the moment and make the best use of it.

I speculate that bitcoin's market price will reach 40,000$-50,000$ this year since last year was the year where cryptocurrencies start to boom. With regards to the correction lately, it may be a very good happening that will make bitcoin even more functional and strong this time.

People are still exited from last years rise, and now people believe that bitcoin price will grow every year with same speed, that can happen or not. Maybe we will have a calm year with steady grow, maybe we will recover this previous ATH and big things can come in next year. Its possible for price to get to 50000 dollars, and eventually we will see that mark, when will it happen nobody knows.
If we recover previous ATH in some near future bitcoin can easily get to 30000 dollars, but last year was too good, I believe that we will need to wait year or two to see one more great year, so don't have high hopes for high price to come fast, give it a time, maybe we will stay where we are know for a while, that isn't bad at all in my opinion, people will have time to accumulate more bitcoin at this price.

$ 30k is a number close to this year's bitcoin rational value. According to my predictions bitcoin will be at the point of $ 22.000, $ 25.000 and $ 27.000 this year. This's due to the growing number of new coins that really greatly inhibit the growth of its bitcoin making it very difficult for the bitcoin to move quickly.

It is very hard to say as bitcoins are very volatile and unstable which makes it unpredictable but imo bitcoins could reach around $35k to $40k as it has reached around $20k so it is possible.But again no one can say what will happen till then just hold them and wait for the bull run.

I think these numbers are very high, last year the prices went up a lot because people created many expectations because of many things and this year there are no such things that were reasons for high expectations. on the contrary we have governments constantly taking measures against bitcoin, so I think the price at the end of the year will be around $18000 which will already be a more stable value. we will gradually increase to $18000

This year is more of the battle against the government, FUD organization and the banks. This is better to hear than others who are speculating too much without support to their claims. I'd love to see a calm year rather than a rapid pump and another FUD will come out about the balloon, I mean the bubble. I'm tired of hearing those news when bitcoin is rapidly pumping so this is a relaxing year.

I wish I would know this information. it would make me a millionaire. LOL. I suppose it can be offered for more than 25 thousand, but it will hardly reach 60K.

It will reach $20-30k this year but we should not hoped for that price, we might end up being dissapointed with this year's development but who knows,  we cannot still predict the precise thing, so we should just have to become more prepared on every situations that will come.

$30,000 will be the closest price for this year. I won't give big expectation for the price of bitcoin but we have an idea on how much it can grow.
Who here expected the price of $19,000? it happened when bitcoin moved that quickly last time before the massive dumped came.
I'm happy if we will see it again at $19,000 and so on.

I do not think the end of 2018 bitcoin will go to $ 30,000, too long to go there. Of course we expect the same for bitcoin to continue to grow, but it seems to be a little difficult today because currently there are still many issues that drop the bitcoin.
Once that happens, I'm sure there will be many new whales investing bitcoin and bitcoin at least going back at $ 19,000 later this year.

in 2018 it seems bitcoin if you have good news about bitcoin that can trigger a bitcoin price increase is definitely bitcoin will be able to go up but I predict the price can only go up to $ 40k but if the news can trigger the investors to buy bitcoin is definitely price can touch more expensive than this prediction.
