Superb picks, i personally like new blockchain projects like aion, icx, universa, ada rtc, i believe they can provide the solution to the current blockchain scalability issues and grow big.

Yeah, AION looks really good too I might add that to my list

From your list, ZRX (0x project) looks good.  Bitcoin Private is nothing more than just another altcoin.  It is not Bitcoin + privacy.  There is only one Bitcoin and any fork of it is just another altcoin. 

As of now, my altcoin picks for 2018 are ETH, LTH,Neo and Nano coin because I consider these coins having potential price growth which is good to foresee sufficient profit gain the future. I also consider the price chart history per coin before choosing for a potential coin for investment and this had helped me analyze the current market movement.

In my opinion, it is better to make your own research and trust your guts.

The most of the privacy coins are undervalued right now.

The best opportunity is to find a privacy-related project with a low total supply (less than 100M), that way the price will be increasing much faster.

Potential best picks are those coins that belongs to the top 10 altcoins in the crypto market. For my best picks, I would prefer the following coins for investment consideration and these are ETH, Neo and Nano. In my opinion your list is very solid, medium and long term investment, but of all, i would like to highlight an opinion on Bitcoin Private, despite being very much anonymous there is already a great expectation in this currency, and through Zclassic can get that currency (without speculation, success maybe?) Let us wait for 6 months to be sure of success in your investments.

My favorite at the moment for huge growth is Marinecoin. Just take a look at their site and see what they are doing. They are the first self-sustaining crypto-currency that is truly decentralized. 2. Utrust - payment platform that rivals coinbase and paypal. conference on april 19 was sponsored by google, microsoft and paypal.
3. Bitcoin - The value is half of the ATH at the moment.

Your picks are great. I am also holding ZCoin ZRX and I think Bitcoin Private will be one of the best bitcoin forks that will be huge in the future. The people love privacy in crypto!

Yes. I also agree with those choices. But I invested more percentage of my portfolio in BTC and ETH. Then NEO, XMR and LTC is my favorites. As well as I invested on AION, TEL and ENG. Those are high risk and may get a high return. In Addition to that, I selected some good ICOs after hard researching.  

My pick for 2018 is only bitcoin.
I am still waiting for some shitcoins to recover, and when they do I will exchange them to bitcoin and recover investment which I partially lost. OP bitcoin private? What's that  ::)

No man, Bitcoin private doesn't even better than monero itself i think that the bitcoin private will have the same tech just like zclassic. I think that the bitcoin will be the same as another bitcoin fork coin. They are all only becoming pump and dump coin right now. But is there a reason about why need a bitcoin private? With a basic answer crypto already encrypted with SHA algorithm and why?

My picks are Ethereum , Ripple , Ins , Swissborg and Nano for 2018. I think A lot of person don't know Ins and Swissborg that they have a very good and effective team and rational ideas. I believe both of them follow roadmap than they catch succes.

It's great to think that bitcoin in 2018 will be worth more than $ 20,000, but I still think that you need to take a closer look at altcoins because with them you will be able to earn money faster, but to choose that of course for you.

Your choices are very likely to go up in the future, and they all have very high levels of copper interaction. I do not overthink about the technology of any Altcoin because it does not affect the level of its growth. Take care of the Dev team, and its community as these are two major influences to its upward level in the future.

Except ethereum do you believe these coins are having potential to bump in future. I see bitcoin, eth, neo, dash and litecoin have the bright future for this year too as like every year.

Another vote here for ZRX. Other good picks I think outside the top 20 are Walton and IoT chain.

ETH: POS is coming (at least the hybrid version) i.e. less inflation and you can stake your ETH

XLM: fast and decentralized blockchain, it started as ICO platform as well

PRL: really ambitious project (combination of IOTA tangle and Ethereum smart contract)

These picks are not among the popular ones. Privacy is kind of important, but there are various coins already giving it (Monero, torcoin, deeponion etc.). I think the third option is rather okay, but now is too early to say, the coin is not even on coinmarketcap. As for Zcoin, why are you saying low marketcap is a good thing? I thought it's something rather bad, since this way the price can be manipulated easily.
My pick for 2018 is bitcoin, I believe that despite the beginning this year will be great for it, since more people get to know about blockchain and they start their acquaintance with cryptocurrencies with this one.

LOL. My choice is totally different. I choose only XLM and NEO and NEO is the biggest one cause I believe in this coin and supporting from China, the biggest nation invest in cryptocurrency. I think with the supporting from China, NEO must become the best altcoin in the future and of course it'll take the no.2 place from ETH soon :)

NEO is a great coin and would be my top pick too. I'd also go for Ethereum and as always you can't bet against Bitcoin which will test $50k dollars by the end of the year.

I think that in your list there is only one good coin - ZRX. I wouldn't invest in the other two. I would invest in ARDR. This is a very undervalued coin with great potential.

Some great coins. Stratis in my mind should have a big future. I really like the fact that it is launching ICOs which should make it's value increase over time. I've been in that one for 12 months and haven't sold yet.

Yes those picks are very valid and worth to hold it, you can also take a look on NEO or all new privacy related coins like Monero,Deep onion etc. more deep to trust them and maybe invest some :)

So many good coins to pick from but here goes. All speculation of course  :)

1. BTC - will always be the leader and the coin that large investors use because its most well known and is perceived as a safe bet in the crypto world
2. LTC - will be the first to get general adoption by businesses as a crypto payment option
3. OMG - Just a solid project
3. LSK - For a token without anything yet its performing very well. Once the SDK comes out and ico's are launched it will do very well
4. PLR - If they pull it off and become the wallet we all use and help to make crypto user friendly for newbies it will be massive.

Of course add, NEO, WAN, CND, DGB & PPT

This year, my choice has fallen for only one coin and it's AION. Now, of course, the course falls, but once everything is stabilized there will be a big take off in this coin

Well my top 3 are the top 3 in market i'm just got this feeling that these 3 will stay at top, bitcoin will always be king, while ethereum is not going either day by day altcoins are created and most of them are based on ERC20 that's from eth, another one is ripple it is outstanding since it goes up at top 2 this year and the platform of ripple is different than others a lot of banks now is thinking about accepting ripple and last NEM it is my last picks cause i know that NEM has the potential even though after the hacking incident it stays at top 50 and i admired that.

I'm thinking about the following coins not only for 2018, but also for long term holding, at least to 2021.

1. Zcash (ZEC): it has advanced technology with strong team. In 2018, it has 2 big updates which could let price up a bit.
2. Burst Coin: This coin is dumped for a while, and just was up in last December due to new update. Actually this coin has very strong community.
3-4. Liberty (LBC) and VertCoin (VTC): I like their ideas and development progress.
5. Cardano: It has a very nice platform, and as far as I know, there is one ICO has started building on its platform.
6-7. Of course, BTC and ETH.

To take my best, I would prefer coins here to investment consideration and this is ETH, Neo and Ripple. I choose 3 coins it because I think that can be done great work in terms of the price growth and investor see can believe that can make the kind of investment in the future. How do you think?

My pick is ethereum and bitcoin only because in my experience bitcoin and ethereum is the most safest to hold my investments. I Try some ICO's mostly i join is they will not pay me or the most i don't want to experience again is to get scam.

tron, sub, xlm, eos , are good coins to pick at the moment.. market is in extreme dip you can  pick anything in cheap.

1. Bitcoin (top crypto and cannot be pumped/dumped)

I really believe in the blockchain coins, such as NEO, ICX, ADA etc, I don't wanna say they're for sure the safest but in this market those are the only ones I would buy.

I personally recommend Safinus. Very good project, the platform is aimed to help crypto holders stay in profit by managing their portfolios.

Interesting there does appear however to be a lot of platforms that do this so competition is high. Plus, it's fun managing your own. I'll still check it out though.

Two really solid projects

From these three - zcash is the best in my opinion. But it is not the best from everything. Better than zcash are: ethereum, neo, eos and probably deeponion

I support choosing zcash in the first place. It is very promising coin for this year. I read a lot about it and i only wait for profit from this. I want add only ethereum here, because can achieve a lot too

I think that NEO is a coin that will give an excellent profit in 2018. I'm betting on this project because now it looks very promising. But this is not the only coin in my portfolio. I have many more coins to hedge risks.

I myself put in the top 20 coins, but most of all I bet on bitcoin. It's the same leader. But the father of all the coins he keeps the whole market on himself!

After analyzing the entire market for cryptographic commodities in 2017 and estimating its prospects and disadvantages in 2018, I forecast a significant increase in the market-leading ciphers (BTC, ETH, BCH, ADA, NEO, XLM, LTC, EOS, XEM).

I hope everyone knows the IOTA project. IOTA & DataBroker DAO are additional projects. So DataBrokerDao plans to integrate with IOTA as a transport level, both inside and outside.

I think my choices in 2018 must be ETH, NEO and XLM :)). I don't really know about other cryptocurrency but I think these are the best cryptocurrencies IMO. Maybe I'll take a look at Credits token, I feel it's the best token in this year, although all other crypto is dumping very quickly but CS still increase very fast and stable at really high price higher 8 or 9 times than ICO price :)

Nice choices, I would like to add Cardano (my all time fav), Ontology, EOS and NEO. All of them are solid projects and have great potential to grow. They have a strong community presence and skilled development team. I want ETN to grow as well, it has potential but hasn't been upto the mark until now.

To tell the truth I can advice all coins in the first ten on Coinmarketcap. Practically all have a good idea and team. So in the nearest perspective it can grow. Be patient and everything will be ok.

Nice picks, I'm currently in love with QRL they're Blockchain-based and decentralized we all know what that means. But now instead of the bank, you take out the phone company.
