I think NEO is a great altcoin in 2018. I really do not joke. NEO's technology has been recognized and respected by many. A lot of investors have bought NEO and projects in 2018 have used NEO's technology platform. That has shown NEO growth in 2018. This will be a very good time for us to invest in NEO.

    Many of them, it is a long list. Many of already established coins like Bitcoin,
Etherem, Litecoin, NEO, and others is great to have. Many new upcoming ICO`s
offer good tokens and good projects. This is a year of making more of each of
them holding trough this year and to have it for next, or after next year.
   Most of the coins will grow in popularity and price. Who does not have a portfolio
filled with all sort of coins will be at loss. Some people already have it and they
are ready for the future, it is not late I am joining!

Low risk anything in the top 10. Moderate risk Stratis and Ark, high risk POSW and XTRABYTES. Those are my choices.

Consider Electroneum (ETN) which is growing steadily and is very promising considering the MOU's and other projects in the pipeline like the mobile mining which will give rise to demand and then appreciate in value.

Electroneum is a good call for hodling also SIA has a great future.
There is a lot of buzz around NEO, waves, tron, deeponion, iota for example.

Also worth considering are the old reliables like ethereum, dash, monero, litecoin along with the newer bitcoin cash.

I am an advocate for long term hodling so the above i would be hodling long term.

look into QASH..... a fantastic team comprising of some really big players in the financial world and a full banking license on the roadmap.....   the team have already created an exchange that can trade various tokens for various FIATs and while the UI needs a bit of work to make it more user friendly they are definitely on the right path.....

there is a LOT of positive talk about this coin on youtube etc but it's not a quick turnover coin....but and hold until Q4 2019 at least......  they are hitting their roadmap milestones on time so far and Q4 2019 is when the banking license should come and if it does and holders should be laughing

You might as well consider the ongoing hype the arcblock that is making. In just a couple of hours, the volume of their Eth was already at the top of idex exchange. Considering that tomorrow, three major exchanges will be listing arcblock in their exchange and I believe tomorrow might risr their value into $5-$10 and will continue to rise further more. Thats why I suggest that if you have arcblock token, hold on to it. Be patience.

I think there are many coins which are worth to hold for at least the whole 2018. Not only the most known ones like Bitcoin or Ethereum, but even newer projects like Minexcoin, Coss and Ethos.

When inspecting some ICO's there was especially two of them taking my attention: Havven and Corl. I'd suggest keeping an eye on them.

Most recently passed ICO, such as WePower and Arcblock, for me, these are the two most promising start-ups, I would have held their tokens!

In my opinion, it is better to make your own research and trust your guts.

More coins are good and has the potential to boost in the year 2018. This year is the start of our new investments. After the big fall on almost all crypto coins, we will recover and coins are starting to rise. And the best coin to hold in for the  2018 year is the Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin,Ripple and other top 10 in the Coin Market Cap. Just check that out.

It's hard to beat bitcoin, and make a promising investment place other than bitcoin. I believe bitcoin will still be excellent for an investment, apart from a few days that bitcoin prices are declining. But it is not impossible in the next few months bitcoin prices will rise again. So, answering your question, bitcoin is the coin you should have in 2018. It seems less perfect if investing in cryptocurrency but you do not choose bitcoin to be an investment place.

Tips from me if not strongly invest in Bitcoin, start from Litecoin which almost have in common with bitcoin or you should try coin which I favoritkan coin that can not be mined, can not be used as payment tool of digital shopping that is Ripple.

Depend what you are looking for - big profit or low risk coins?

My recommendation for stable coins this year are: NEO, DNA and AIX.
If you are looking for big profit, then choose few ICO's and try your luck. Any stable ICO will be in 2-5x range few months later. I can't say the same for many of the coins. PRL is maybe an exception.

All depends from your strategy.  Safely or risky. Top coins will be a good choice. They are more safely and have good potential( like dash, zec, etc, ETH, xmr, ltc. ) Of course dont forget about btc. Try hold btc too. If you want make a huge profit you need to take some risky coins like (kin, appc,capp, bts, dta, ). Best stratagy for me -hold 60% in safely coins, 40% in risky coins .

Market are really tricky at this time, we take considerations of having both is a good choice. Because not all the time that known or the top coins might be in good shape all the time and same with low volume coins.  To see what is the right coins for this year to hold,  we should look at its market trend and it should have very active buying and selling record.

In my opinion, eth, neo, lend are good for holding. Btc price also low now. Some new coin have great potential so buy some new coin with low price and hold for long time to earn huge profit. But don't choice dead or scam coin for investment.

Ethereum is the best than waves and choose altcoins worth to hold. I think so it can achieve 2000$ dollar this year but it takes time. Yes depends and get the best project to hold for you to have profit.

Ethereum is one of the best coin to hold for long period of time, but I also recommend IOST their price in the market was a cheap but surely increasing trends. I don’t admire Ethereum a lot when it comes to profit. I just like its survival strength. It is slow but can be trusted with future. BCH is fast but people have many doubt regarding it staying with us forever. As far as bitcoin is concerned, that is on which whole digital market depends. Bitcoin is the best in every aspect. It produces largest profits. No altcoin can claim to be better than BTC.

EOS - NEO. these coin will be the top coin in 2018. litecoin I dont see any good news about that. or any big update coming

i guess in this year, there will be a lot of potential altcoins rise until the end of this year, although there will be many altcoins that will bring me profit in next few months but i think i will keep investing in ETH because i choose a safe method and long term profit, not a risky way by investing in other altcoins, also ETH is more popular than any other altcoins so it is easy to use for many purposes and more convenient than other altcoins.

Crypto should hold in 2018 the Ethererum, currently, in the crypto market, I only trust ETH because its current market cap is behind the BTC only. And ICOs with existing altcoins use ETH's smart contract technology, so ETH's future is sure to be bright.

For Ethereum it is good that competitors don't have working product yet. But development of eth is too slow, devs now don't even say about transition to POS and approximate dates.

Hold the top coins, holding anything that has a very low market cap is going to be incredibly risky especially since most altcoins are having a lot of problems retaining their prices and icos are having problems getting enough funding, this is the moment to keep holding your coins and if possible to buy coins as well but only those at the top of the market in terms of market cap.

I would rather hold on the coins that are new in concept and align with the world economy and its needs rather than the conventional coins, therefore, my investments would be on docademic which has already doubled in price value since its ICO period

I will hold bitcoin and ethereum for my investment coins. I think the most profitable and promising coins to hold are bitcoin and ethereum. We know that bitcoin has the highest price and ethereum becomes the most useful coin.

The price of Bitcoin changes a lot every day and has seen many highs and lows over the last few years. Take a look at the following chart and you will see just how much the price changes.

With the bad market going so far, the altcoins outside the top 100 will lose value and will soon die. Everyone is scared and only dares to invest in good altcoin in the top 100 because it's a lot safer.

This makes no sense. Just because a coin is top100 doesnt mean its good. Actually quite the opposite. Many top100 coins lost 90% and some even more than that this year. So if you had invested $100k in the top100 you might have like $10k now.

Moreover Ethereum in their lowest price right now, imagine the price dropping from $1k to $200 its a very deep drop and I think this is
the lowest price this year for ETH, buying at the moment and holding it is the right thing because Ethereum is including a promising coin

I think Ethereum is a good crypto coin in 2018.Ethereum is the second best coin invrsted after bitcoin.Ethereum has a good capitalization in the crypto coin market.It has a strong founding team. The Price of Ethereum is below $200 for some days.So it's good to hold it now.

Top 100 coins shall be appreciate in its value as there's always reason why they are infront but not behind
Coins within 100-300 shall be coins that has some potential value, or you could find a gem but it takes time
