If they didn't have such similar and hence suspicious usernames then I don't think there would be much suspicion about them. I'm pretty sure they were just created for the giveaway and possibly to be sold... I think this accounts only wants to claim the giveaways. This accounts seems harmless because its very obvious. :)

The giveaway has been suspended for the time being. I've seen people with more than 50 accs posting in the reddit discussions, so I don't think this is related to the hack.
