On March 1, the beginning of the bullish trend?
How do you think the market will come to life on the first day of spring?

What do you base this on?

I don't think anything that important has happened recently in the news but the markets are more or less stabilizing now.

The FED (Federal Reserve System) announced a March increase in the key rate that could prompt many investors to seek profitable markets..

i dont thing so.
if we see the candle for short and mid term trend,looks like its gonna be stable at this price for a moment.
only good news can push crypto price immediatelly.
but for long term chart maybe in the mid of this year we can see where we gonna go.

I will respect your speculation,but no man on earth can accurately predict the future,only time will tell when will the Bitcoin's will go bull.Lets just hope that the whole market will go bullish when the 2nd quarter of the year starts,Bitcoin's chart seems to be bullish from the past 2 weeks and it might be corrected in the next few days.

Hopefully this is the start of the bull market until the month of May and the market goes bearish again just like what happen in the past years same cycle of the market every coins will set their new ATH. Goodluck to us everyone.

Market is great for the past few days i hope this march will be the start of the bullish month as i am holding coins too long as i expected.
Well all the theory before says before the first quarter if this year will start the moon for most coins and tokens, so lets wait for the great news.

In the spring the bulls do the breeding. They have no time to organize bullish markets. Lol. The cost of cryptocurrencies can not depend on the season. The General trend now is that all users are waiting for price increases. I am also confident that bitcoin will cost $ 20,000 by the end of spring. This stimulates the growth of altcoins. But the reasons for this are quite different.

Its coming to the end of the tax year and so I don't think we will witness much growth until after april as people will withdraw some investment to pay tax

It doesnt mean that the cryptocurrencies will grow if that happened,we arent backuped by the federal reserve so there are no connections betweek our market and these fiat investors,the market is stabilizing after bitcoin's uptrend and it might have some corrections few days from now.So lets hope that the cryptocurrency market will grow as the bitcoin's price is gone sideways.

This is wishful thinking, the same way I always wish that this day the bull trend will finally start. NO basis at all just me wanting the price of bitcoin to come alive again.

Many people think Bitcoin will begin another bullish trend soon, we need some good news to push it.

Is there any definite reason why it will go bull? if there is can you please tell us because predicting in the future wont be that easy because time will only tell how will our market grow,the bitcoin's price is bery bullish from the past weeks that is why we can expect some corrections few days or weeks from now.

I think it is too hard to predict. Maybe a January crush is something has been there every year, but this year it has been the biggest for last 3 years. It was almost like a 60-70% drop in prices. Before this crush (correction), usually it has been around 30-50% within last two years, but again the late Nov - early Dec price spike was huge. It was almost 100-150% within a month or so, so the correction would have been huge too.

I dont feel we will see a significant price jump from 1 March, but my guess is, it may gradually start from April when Americans get tax refunds, and then will see a significant price increase around and after Consensus 2018 (14-16 May 2018), the biggest conference in blockchain technology. I think it was attended by more than 20,000 people last year, and this year it will probably be even bigger. Here, many people interested in blockchain technology and financial sector join together. When they learn about the improvements of blockchain projects launched last year (and before), they will bring lots of positive images to their respective businesses and supporters. This along with the huge media attention to the conference and blockchain innovations may push the price up significantly.

But again, this is a wild guess. No one knows for sure how crypto works, but I think compared to 2017 Consensus conference, this year, many people will witness some real applications (at least close to the real applications), so this would be the next catalyst for the price jump.

Never take these guesses as financial advice. I am not certain how this will work out. This is just my opinion.

Cryptocurrency market nowadays does not depend on American market and Federal Reserves, if given by chance to see the data of the investors of cryptocurrency market the large portion of that investors are coming from Asian Region IMHO.

I guess only time will tell, we'll see soon.

To be honest, I was expecting markets to start stabilizing around March.

I think the market will still come alive, but the pampas will be point-like. I do not think that there will be rapid growth like last year. Most likely, bitcoin will be in the current price range. And altcoins will grow in price, but I repeat that not all, but only worthy projects.

Such as traders tend to take action and make the bitcoin price back to its normal level so the market back to normal. But altcoin does not seem to change much is always red.

I think market will have the same situation like February, bitcoin is like gold, when go high or fall will take long time to make significant move again. But this is the right time to collect some coin as asset beside bitcoin, such as ltc and xmr for long term investment. About bitcoin just let it go, as long you already buy in the end of January - February, you have enough asset to make better profit. Good luck with you.

No one can really predict what will happen to the market,unless you are one of those big players who are manipulating the market.People should learn how the market works so that we can easily know when will the market are going to go bull or bullish,but there is no man on earth that could predict what will happen accurately.

March 1st...that's very specific!

While we are all hoping for the next bull run to happen soon, actually, it is in our best interest if the market stays stable for another month.
If we continue to have crazy volatility like 2017, then 2018 will see the crypto bubble ballooning and bursting beyond repair.
Not saying it will be the end of crypto, but an unsustainable bubble economy will put the market back a couple years and delay mainstream adoption.
Yeah, the idea of btc being worth 40k might be great, but I would rather see it steadily increase in value this year.

But, of course, what am I saying.  I am not naive.
After a two month slump that newbies are calling a bloodbath and great crypto depression, the next bull run will probably be insane.
Combine that with weird human psychology, "The weather is nice! Let's throw money around" and tax returns...

All investors hope the bullish trend to come soon as possible. Some investors already loss significant amount due to price drop. But I don't see any reason to start a bullish trend on march 1. We can hope a gradually rise of Market from 1 -2 month time and it will reach to a highest position on may - june.

I think nothing fundamentally changes from what time of year. Winter or spring this can not be the reason for growth or fall. The bullish trend will begin when negative news on the crypt will end and the market will be in a calm state for at least a month.

Well i hope so,but it's more likely in the Q4 2018,because from what i see,the ICO's in the June-November will released their coin in Q4 2018.So with more coin released in the market,the price will start to move too.We should start to buy some coin that will have major update in the future,so that we will get big profit from the bullish trend later.

I hope you are right because I personally do not see certain circumstances about it. But it's high time BTC to get out of this stagnation (as long as it's not downward).  :)

I don't think the bitcoin price cares about the start of the spring... now it's possible that it has a certain impact on the minds of traders, and ultimately traders make the price, but it's too fuzzy, it's just not clear enough to take any reasonable moves upon. It would be insane to claim like "oh, spring is here, traders will feel better than in winter, this will make them more prone to buy, the price will go up". It doesn't work like that imo.

I just take reference on further resistance points and I pay attention to the news, I don't think theres nothing else that we can do. Anyone claiming to predict the future is insane and a scammer.

Long term, if you believe in the fundamentals of bitcoin, it will go up no matter what it does currently. I have believed in what bitcoin is for years and im holding, I don't care about what the hell is going on with the never ending drama surrounding this project. I don't care about who satoshi is, I dont care about governments banning it, I don't care about forks. These are just temporal things and they will use these to create dips and buy cheaper. Long term the fundamentals are as solid as ever.

I'm wondering what it is with this March= good investment thing. Of course we all would love that, but I think it's purely emotional

After the Chinese New Year the market has picked up and being above 10k only. Though it is moving slowly upwards which is a good thing because if fall happens due to some bad news the fall would not be too steep and thus will get stabilized above 10k only.

Theres no one on earh can predict what will happen in the future,or else you are from the future and cameback to where the bitcoin's price is very cheap.But lets hope that bitcoin's price would be more healthy so that the whole market will be more stable,because when the altcoins are growing we can make a lot of money.

March is one of the most excited Month of my Crypto Assets because one of my altcoins will be launching their Beta app and I am excited because I do  use them as testing and will wait for another month that the main net will be published to public.
I really want to hold my Crypto Assets because they are indeed pumping and today my assets are increasing day after day and week after week.

No one really can predict the future accurately,so do not expect these speculatiions might be from the people who wants the community to think that march would be bull run,because as i can see from the market's history bull runs usually starts on the 3rd to 4th quarter of the year based from the last 2 years charts.

March was awesome in 2017 for all altcoins which was followed with a correction in april and they came the mega pump during may till july. If history has to repeat itself, march should give us the assurance.

There is no one who can really predict the future accurately not unless you are from the future whp came back to warn us,or to buy some cheap bitcoins  ;D but lets hope that the market's sideways will be more than the last year's sideways so that our market will be more healthy,altcoins will grow when bitcoin's price has stabilize.

Well, USA is just one state, it does not rule the market of cryptocurrencies. Apart from that, if people are going to seek for profitable markets it doesn't mean at all that they're going to invest in cryptocurrencies. There are various other things in which people can put their money. I would say that nothing will probably happen tomorrow, because the beginning of spring (in my country with dozens of snow and minus temperature, by the way) has nothing to do with the market itself. News can make a difference, but they have to be actually related to cryptocurrencies to do that.

There's no knowing that for certain the markets will take a reserve back once spring sets in. But everyone is hoping the first day of March sets the records and a massive news pushes the crypto space up. If not for a massive news, we wouldn't know what will reverse the market and when it will happen.

No one really knows what will happen,because no furtune teller can predict unless you are nostradamus LOL.The market's stability will come from these big players financial institutions like CME and Wallstreet would be responsible on how the market will move,either way lets hope that these people wont let bitcoin's market to crash so that we can still enjoy the benefits of cryptocurrencies.

From the past, if we notice, we can find lots of trend changes when a new month is arriving. So, why not we can expect to have a different month from what we had in last two months of 2018. I am too very much positive about this month March to have some big impact on cryptos in a positive way.

I am expecting bitcoin prices to break a new ATH in this March. If that will be happening then we can be assured that we are bouncing back to rising mode which may take all the cryptos to new heights.

I don't think we have enough reasons to start new bull run. Everything problematic about markets are still here: people lost trust to bitcoin, and most of altcoins and they left the market. We need better reasons to taunt them back in market, probably more real world apps.

Most likely, there is a psychological aspect. People tend to look for root causes in numbers. But do not look for signals for the market, based on numerology, this can lead to losses.

Just happened very important events. On February 26, a new version of Bitcoin 0.16.0 was released, which already fully supports SegWit. This will quickly eliminate the existing shortcomings of bitcoin - a small scalability and high commission fees for conducting transactions. Therefore, from the first days of spring, one should expect another revival of the crypto-currency market, since bitcoin should then start to rise rapidly in price.

I don't think the bitcoin fee is not a big problem now because we can even conduct a transaction with  1 or 2 sat/byte.But it is good to see that wallets are supporting the segwit too even if the price gets bumped it may help the number of unconfirmed transactions in control but still only around 11% of people using segwit and later in this year coinbase will upgrade to segwit then it will increase that percentage to a lot better.

No one will ever know that, unless you are some kinda prophet? who knows what will happen march 1 is today and i dont think it will be bullish because bitcoin's market has been bullish for weeks,so it needs some rest bearish market will come few days from now,we need to think ahead with these investors so we wont be trapped to these altcoins.

I think that crypto spring will come not tomorrow but at the end of April. There are no news which could greatly affect the capitalization of the market now. But I really hope that we will see crypto spring soon.

I do have the same analysis when it comes to technical aspects which if we do try to see the candle in charts i cant see a thing that it would go into a reversal or sudden pump of price but somehow we can able to see a bullish trend along the way but yet isnt still guaranteed since we do know that market can turn upside down in a glimpse.Few hours we are already hitting up a new month and hopefully we do see some green candles again.

Op, based on the current chat of bitcoin and some other top crypto currency I don't think there will be a serious positive movement in the couples of hours to come couple with regulation policy of different government of the world. But I do believe that before end of March, 2018 there will be a significant increase in the market value of bitcoin and some other altcoins.

I think that's what's going to happen. In early March the Chinese will finish celebrating the new year and the money will come back to the market.

I also think that in the first days of March the crypto currency will rise and the crypto-currency market will start to grow. After a month of great uncertainty in my view of the market, I believe we are out of the woods.
For number of reasons, technical analysis shows that we are out of the downtrend channel of BTC.

My last hope on bullish trend is next Monday when China new year ends.I expect more players on the market. But currently we see that there is higher supply of tokens on the market than the actual demand. We need to see some real implementation of those tokens and their usage in order to create additional demand for the products and not only for the tokens.

Since two days before spring bitcoin got a new version with full support for SegWit, it means that all its shortcomings should be eliminated and he will have no more reason to trample on the spot. I also think that the date of the new version of bitcoin was chosen not accidentally, namely on the eve of its planned growth. This is just based on mere speculations and we have seen alot of that recently. All these predictions are just not going anywhere. Over the past weeks we have been in a bull trend and I think things are beginning to normalise now. If your predictions re true, then only time shall tell because as it stands now, no one can actually predict the next direction of the market.

I think that this will have some positive impact, but that's all. I'm not counting US investors at all on the crypto market.

In fact, there seems to be no solid basis to think that bitcoin could experience a sudden rise after the loss of confidence that the market has suffered because of  the tremendous fall at the beginning of the year. We should not forget that the year 2017 was quite exceptional compared to the historical performance of bitcoin, since it is enough to see the previous two years (2015 and 2016) to see that bitcoin behavior tends to be much more calm and stable than many newbies tend to believe.

Everyone is talking about March as the bullish month but they did not exactly specify what date it is so I am guessing it'll be the end of the month. Considering how RED is my portfolio right now, I don't think it'll be bullish this first of March or first week of March. Let's just have faith and wait for that "bullish moment" to happen soon.

I would say the month of February is not a very good month for crypto-currencies as the trading market does not seems to have any huge movement, I think there is a need to have more positive news about crypto-currencies in the month of march in order to start the bullish trading trend again.

If you consider the current crash we've witnessed so far to be a bull trend, then not sure what to say. Hopefully there will be a trend reversal soon, but it looks like March 1 aint that day.

No one really knos what will happen this month,it could be a better market or another failing market and it is really depends to the big players who are responsible for the pumps and dumps in the market,bitcoin's drama would trigger most of the investors to pull out their investments to the altcoins that is why when bitcoin's price is failing the altcoins bleed.

Hope we've got an uptrend motion within this month. Not only we think we are on summer time, but it could be possible as the community expecting it since FUDs are over yet few weeks ago.

I Don't expect bullish market on march 1, I expect to see bullish market by marching ending. I believe some traders have started trading by the time more traders will start trading again, We will see more bullish market.

In my view, the market should recover at least Q3 or Q4, the time when cryptocurrencies will have a lot of events, and Bitcoin will not be much negative news at the time here too. In March, the whole market will recover, and the exchange rate will increase rapidly.

yes, form my point of view, 2018 may be the good year for crypto-currencies for trading. as we can see that the fall trend exist from the December from the last year. trading market maybe need more good news not only crypto-currencies but also the countries come in the trading in crypto-currencies and this may end  in the half year of 2018.

I think this march will be the beginning of uptrend movement. Red market is already dominated for 2 months already, I think this time it will be a green market again. Bitcoin is already made a few steps forward and hopefully make a slow uptrend so altcoins could also recover.

This is a game of big players now so all we can do is try to take our part from profit. We should be open to any movement these days. We can see small fall till 9k or we can see a climb to 13k.      Well, I sure hope that that will also be the case for this year. Because to be honest, I really haven't seen a lot of good news just yet about any altcoin in the market. In fact, what I see more often are red colored numbers on my portfolio. Although I still get to see some green ones, they stay for just a day and sometimes don't even get to reach a whole day and just increases a bit and then go back to red again the next day which is very alarming. But even so, I am still filled with hope because as what you are trying to say, I also think that the cryptos are following a pattern. I just hope cryptos continue to do the same for this year because if not, my losses would be heartbreaking.
