Saw your post in the claymoreminer section, i hope your an honest pool. XVG has disgusting pools that are stealing and people are catching on quickly.

I just set up 2 rigs on your site, lets do dis!

Pool closes the socket and disconnects constantly. It reconnects immediately but the difficulty starts low again and has to readjust. This is sub-optimal, and annoying.

Update: difficulty isn't increasing. Seems way too low.

Update 2: pool difficulty adjusting Up after reconnecting so that's good.

yea i noticed that also, keeps resetting. i also get a ton of rejects.

It says average time to find a block at full pool speed (currently ~350 GH/s) is fluctuating between 33 hours and 48 hours.
This small pool is going to fluctuate quite a bit due to luck factor.  But there's a chance of good luck and getting a nice payout.
And a chance of bad luck, no payout for days.

@Premiere , after the pool reach at least 1 or 1.5 or 2 th , then miners will be paid ?

What you say is totally true. I hope that more people can continue to join the pool to obtain the necessary hashrate and that we all win.

In the last week, I have been working for 18 hours every day to set up the pool, the only way I have to show that this is an honest pool is to receive the first block, I hope we are lucky, orphan, etc.. so that people can see the difference in reward, I also understand that if the miners do not see a reward in the short term on the wallet, they can make people doubt.

No, unfortunately this does not work like that. When we reach 1-2 Th/S, we will have the necessary power to mine each block in less time, the profits are shared when each block is mined. More power = More blocks in less time = EVERYONE begins to see the money in your wallet.

Yes, we need more hashrate to improve the TTF. The difficulty is going up, this does not help either. I'm worried, I'm afraid that people do not hold enough in the pool to get the first block, I understand, we need people to start reward as soon as possible.

Yes, setting up a pool is not easy, If you add different servers to separate services, load balancing, high availability, everything gets much more complicated. I've been working two weeks to launch it, working the last week 18 hours per day, it's crazy.

At the moment I am focused on XVG, I would like to add other crypto in the future.

Search this and other forums for users with XVG 40-50Gh/s hash-rate power and arrange with them some kind of direct payment no meter on pool's results in first week or two.

When we find first block(s) all others will be payed through mining results. I don't have problem to mine few days without any rewards if pool succeed as you described but it's very important to see progress in day by day at least in hash power increasing. Otherwise you will lose even most optimistic miners. Next 24 hours will be crucial for me to see are we making progress or not.

Regarding awards options, if you succeed, just keep REAL 1% pool fee and I will be satisfied. If you not, probably I will leave XVG mining and will use some other coin for dual mining.

I am evaluating the mining contract to get more hasrate. According to WTT the estimated daily reward for 50 GH / s is about $ 11, I think really need at least 1 Th / s, this is $ 220 a day. + what they want to charge for the contract. I've been looking at sites like miningrigrentals.com, they're crazy, 50 Gh / s 24 hours, 0.14 ETH, $ 120 a day, 1 Th / s $ 2,400 a day.

Regarding the options, after beta REAL 1% FEE, it is guaranteed, but I would like to reward first miners effort and confidence. I know that right now they are just words, I hope to be able to prove it soon, but we need the blocks to arrive for it.

UPDATE: Another user says that the difficulty is behind the difference of shares between pools. If someone can confirm I have no problem in rectifying, honesty first of all.

Yeah, something is wrong with this pool. Not only is it having tons of rejected shares, the share% isn't calculating properly. The pool was restarted, so shouldn't the share % also be recalculated? So far I'm contributing over 4% of the current hashrate but my share% seems to be stuck at about 0.25 - seems dodgy.

Startup pains I hope.  Gonna stick with it for a while longer and give it a chance.  Is there a way to set claymore to mine XVG only?  I can get more hashpower to u that way.

I’m working to improve TTF but to be honest I don’t know why we are taking so long to get the first block. When I have 5 minutes send you a screenshot of my rigs mining to the pool.

Let me first start by telling you i am running a pool myself, and normally i don't post in other pools topic's, but you configured Yiimp together with the wallet on the wrong Algo, this is the reason the difficulty is showing wrong and you are not finding shares, so your get a lot of pissed of people this way here in this topic.

Check the correct difficulty on other pools if you like, to verify that you have your config right.

First thanks for nlpool.nl admin. Wow, big mistake on my part, I’m sorry miners. I put Blake in algo. Honest first, I take almost one hour in solve it. if you can put your miners to nlpool while I work in fix it. I will understand if you do not return later, it has been a very big mistake on my part.

I'm very sorry for that. I'm working very hard to solve them, the pool have a problem with block notification. As always I want to be transparent with this, I'm trying to fix it but I still have not gotten it to work. blocknotify is not working but I don't know what.

I understand the discomfort, I'm very sorry. I will find a way to reward people.

I recommend people to point their rig to another pool, until the problems are solved, I think nlpool has proven to be honest, I used to mine there until they started doing DDOS and decided to set up this pool.

I dont know what, but some hash notifications returned error -1, most do not return any error, from last 60, 8 error. Maybe hash is incorrect. I'm investigating.

Apparently it is working, but the first block never arrives to be able to check the most important point of all this, solve the block and distribute the profits to the miners.

We have been mining since Wednesday and nothing, understanding that people get angry, we have a very low hashrate. 200-250 Gh / s. compared to other pool, maybe it is not possible to compete with such a low hashrate.

I can not find any errors in the logs.

I must admit that I have made a serious mistake. I felt very pressured because the blocks did not arrive, I made a change that turned out to be a complete mistake, since then everything has become complicated. I have been reviewing the configuration with the admin of NLPOOL, we have adjusted a couple of things and we are up again.

I am very sorry for all this that is happening. I understand that many miners have gone. I just hope I can continue working to recover your confidence in the future. If you want to return, we will continue trying, but I also understand that you decide not to return. I will think of a way to compensate for all this.

You mistake is to run a mining pool without resources. You should buy, rent of find a partner with enough value of hasrate in order to keep reasonable finding time. This is a normal business way.

The only way to keep it working now is to find a block and distribute payment to all miners according their efforts.

I suppose that we've missed all submitted shares before last reboot or reset, so please post a time since that shares will be actually counting. Just to correct mistakes and avoid unreasonable expectations.

I could move rigs to you pool again if you can prove you able to do your job.

Maybe you're right, I've been looking to rent hashrate and I have some numbers to share:

1560 XVG = € 70. I have asked for prices, are crazy. 80€ x 50 GH/s for 24 Hours, if we need 1 TH/s, 20x80 € = 1600 €/Day, we will take as reference NLPOOL, at this moment with 12 TH/s have mined about 34 blocks in the last 24 hours , 1 Block = 1560 XVG, 34 Blocks x € 70 = € 2,310/day, now applies future 1% FEE, € 23/Day benefit to the pool. I pretend that all of us can earn money and not ruin myself with it.

There is a record of everything in the database, as soon as pool find first block and I can prove that it works. I will find a way to compensate the miners according to their efforts.

if by "i should be making" you mean what an estimate calculator shows, then you will never find yourself a pool :)
I know he is trying his best, but that is not enough, you need some knowledge to run a pool, that is why not everyone can do it, sorry.

All pools seems to run the same software. This is single author opensorce project, so probably it isn't doing the best. In other side there is a man who sad a lot of pathetic words, but even can not to configure his server.

This is a second time I go to "honest" amateur pool. First time I was at some real PPPLNS ZCL pool.  Both time I got bad results, so proffesional pools which are "steeling" income looks much better for me.

Anyway we should not start again one more pool with the same software and mistakes :)

Finally the XVG block has arrived. Everything is fine. If I still have time to recover your confidence, if you can, I would like you to give us another chance.

As always I will be honest, the block of the first week, I think it has been lost. As soon as I can I will distribute 500 XVG among the miners who were mining the first weeks, I have to calculate the shares contributed by each one, so it will take me a while to do it.

I am working on the different options to compensate miners during the beta.

I'm thinking of the following options:

- 0% Lifetime first 50 founders.
- 10% of pool fees to be distributed among the founders +X Gh/s

Another thing , why your pool is finding more than 200 shares per minute in my case , with 3200 mhs , and the payment is too low , compared to coinfoundry / antminepool and lucky pool , where there i am finding less shares per minute and 10-15 % more payment.Hmm

Our pool finds more shares because we surely have less difficulty fixed. With the same speed, less difficulty = more shares in less time. Regarding the payments, our pool has an average hashrate 300 mh/s, coinfondry for example has 30 Th/s, 100 times more, with more hasrate blocks are found faster and the money is distributed before among the miners, but surely less money is distributed because there are more people to pay.

This is not exact but it is an approximation, with your current hashrate 3,000 mh / s, you are contributing with approximately 1% of the shares, therefore when a block appears you will receive around 1% of the block, in case of verge 15 xvg.  I insist this is a very quick calculation and there are more factors that should be considered, difficulty of the network at that moment, etc....

i start mining using your pool since early morning which seems ok however i am not seeing any balance all "0000" zeros and i knew it's related to finding a block.
