Do you like the idea of paying using your mobile phone? What if it is Bitcoin? Can you track your daily expenses with the price changing every minute? Do you think this will be a good idea to give your child his/her allowance? What if the price went down fast in a sec? Will you use it while in a down price or will you choose to forget about buying your stuff instead of making a transaction with your funds in a low market price? Are you prepared for this? You should be more aware. We must be ready. Well those Chinese apps use fiat money. Every government's wet dreams. As for bitcoins it isn't exactly the best for transactions now because of the volatility as you've already mentioned. IMHO, many countries would probably go the Chinese path, with transactions in cash becoming less and less common but still using the fiat currency. Though this means some loss of privacy (the government can track your consumption) I think it might make it easier for bitcoins to coexist with fiat. Just convert your btc and then send it to that fiat wallet and use that to buy stuff, no need to en cash anything. Basically just use BTC for storage. Title: Re: Be AWARE. I caught what your talking about like giving it to your child or buying goods in a daily life consumption, but it seems like it is hard to rely in mobile payment if there is volatility in the coin. Specially, if it will fluctuates in a matter of seconds. The fact here is that, your children needs to know better on the technical analysis and you need to bring an extra budget if you will buy goods in the market.

Like payment on my load and credit payments. Its a good idea to use that because its hassole free. Many of my friends and relative do that always. There are stores that accepts bitcoin and all you need is a mobile phone and an application to drink coffee in a cafe. Also there are many online merchants in the Philippines that are accepting bitcoins using your mobile phone you can browse it on facebook and send your bitcoin to purchase the item and the merchant will send it to your address. This payment is very interesting, once you make a purchase and want to pay the desired amount you need to just scan the bill copy QR code from your bank app. Once the bank app recognise the QR code the payment would be sent automatically from your bank account to the merchant, this way you don't need a card or fiat to make a payment. This is also called card less payment by banks.

Post by: Doge dealer on March 05, 2018, 02:35:23 AM since the dawn of the new millennium governments the world over has become more focused on going cashless and so they have come up new ways that encourage and gently push consumers in the direction of paying for their goods with the use of electronic channels even the third world countries have made great strides in this direction where you can pay for goods using your cell phone in Jamaica . its would pose a challenge to use bitcoins at this point as the volatility will definitely affect the value of your wallet, bitcoins is still evolving and as such this will become possible in the very near future , giving your children allowances in bitcoins is a very good idea in my opinion as this will encourage and integrate the younger generation and give them a head start in the currency of the future.

There are thousands of Mobile payment nowadays in lot of countries. If you live in North America, there are google and apple pay, but in other countries this function is provided by mobile providers (imagine Tmobile being a bank, or Orange Mobile being a bank). It's really helpful since most people are doing transactions through their mobile gadgets. It's hassle free and not time consuming, but sometimes it still depends on the internet. However I think it's better than the normal cash payment we're doing right now so you can use btc in payment.

It's actually a great idea to have it since you'll more likely to forget your purse/physical wallet more than your phone, and it's convenient when that happens. We have it in our country, but not all establishments support it yet since it requires network connectivity for the transaction. As for Bitcoin, it's kinda like the same, but its wallet is a crypto wallet.

In my country (India) people using apps like Paytm to pay anyone through phone and most of the goods and services accept it. Still, bitcoin is not so close to mobile payments here as of now, it might take a lot more time, but it would definitely come in the future. The price variation might cause some issues though, as it is not so stable.

That being said the baseline currency is fiat money as these payments are triangulated through the banking sector. Ask Paypal.What if it is Bitcoin? Well there's Coins available for Asian Countries. Since it started, I've been using its online payment service to pay my electric, water and internet bills without wasting time to fall in line to their counters. The volatility thought, if the price gets too wild like UP/DOWN $1000 a day, I prefer to keep and convert my funds there as BTC or Fiat depending on the flow in the market. Just read again the post of the OP, I think you are misunderstanding the OP's post. And I think it is a news since little by little, fiat are being replaced by these mobile wallets especially in China where they state the term "Cash is already pretty much dead". Those apply pay, google pay and etc aren't crytpo and not available in the market for us, I don't think that is a good investment for people wanting to profit after holding a period of time while also using it to send fee for transactions made. I remember reading a post somewhere which mentioned that price of bitcoins will reach $500000 by 2030 mainly because of the increasing penetration of smartphones all over the world. The mobile use is already increasing at a rapid rate. In my country there are companies that have completely revolutionized the smartphone internet plans. They did it by offering free high speed internet for one year to all users. Let us take China for example. The reason why mobile payment boomed is due to: 1. There are risks of accepting fake currency for cash 2. Everyone is using Wechat, you almost can't find someone not using it 3. It is made such that the platforms are linked directly to banks so transferring in and out isn't a hassle. There are much more reasons. With our technology advancing day by day, bulk usage of mobile payment in our everyday lives should be common. In the Crypto community, there are lots of companies focusing in the transfer of fiat to crypto and vice versa. Will you use it while in a down price or will you choose to forget about buying your stuff instead of making a transaction with your funds in a low market price? Are you prepared for this? I remember reading a post somewhere which mentioned that price of bitcoins will reach $500000 by 2030 mainly because of the increasing penetration of smartphones all over the world. The mobile use is already increasing at a rapid rate. In my country there are companies that have completely revolutionized the smartphone internet plans. They did it by offering free high speed internet for one year to all users. When these users became addicted to mobile internet, the company started charging money and was still able to retain most of the customers. Many people like me are encouraged to be more active with it due to the fluctuation of its value where you can actually earn bigtime once its value hit the peak. However, due to this making it as a mode of payment becomes hard where the willing merchants and other users as well would need to have that risk appetite to wait or lose or earn the value in an indefinite time.

It is a digital wallet where we can store our bitcoin and ethereum. We can use this wallet as a payment in some other stuffs such as paying a utilities expenses. They pointed out that it cannot be done in western countries because they value privacy over convinience. But how ever, it make me think that its also possible in using crpytocurrency but not bitcoin because of network congestion. If bitcoin is used as a mobile payment tool, it is believed to be even more valuable.Let us take China for example. The reason why mobile payment boomed is due to: 1. There are risks of accepting fake currency for cash 2. Everyone is using Wechat, you almost can't find someone not using it 3. It is made such that the platforms are linked directly to banks so transferring in and out isn't a hassle. There are much more reasons. With our technology advancing day by day, bulk usage of mobile payment in our everyday lives should be common. Because their national currency is not stable, mobile payments using encrypted currencies are more convenient and safer than other legal currencies. But in other countries this may not be more convenient for them.

Post by: Pamela Jobelle on March 06, 2018, 03:47:02 AM When you make a purchase and want to pay the desired amount you need to just scan the bill copy QR code from your bank app. Once the bank app recognise the QR code the payment would be sent automatically from your bank account to the merchant, this way you don't need a card or fiat to make a payment.

One project doing that is Tip. Tip will change the way cryptocurrency payments are sent around the world.
