Title: if bitcoin becomes the country's currency

And as we know so far the bitcoin legality is still a consideration for governments in various countries.

Looking at that fact is it possible bitcoin will be the currency of a country?
And can bitcoin change the country's economy for the better?

No its not possible. Because there is no country which has population of same IQ that is needed to use Bitcoin. There is always to be some dumbass, that doesn't know anything about technology, and keep being ignorant, because he/she/it doesn't want to learn new stuff.

Bitcoin can not become the currency of a country. Bitcoin even closer into the international currency. Like English, bitcoin can become international currencies

Indeed, to date the bitcoin issue is about legality, to become an official currency in a country it is impossible because of unstable value.

Nope, not possible. Look at each country and their currency, their currency involves their countries history. A countries national currency is their pride. Bitcoin doesnt have a historical pride that can be considered as a countries national currency.

And can bitcoin change the country's economy for the better?

A countries economy involves many aspect and bitcoin is not the solution for that. Jobs must be created, inflation rate must be reduce, bitcoin cant provide the solution for this problems.

Nothing is impossible. But not everyone in one country uses Bitcoin. There are always those who do not want to know. even some of them who do not know anything about technology, and keep being stupid, because he did not want to learn new things.

Looking at that fact

What fact?

I do not think it's a fact that "almost everyone in different countries recognizes and utilizes bitcoin". The use of bitcoin is far, far less than that. It's more accurate to say that "someone" in almost every country recognizes and utilizes bitcoin.

is it possible bitcoin will be the currency of a country?

No, not for a major country. It would require a Country to abandon the control of its currency to adopt a currency it has no control over. This would only be a wise decision for a country that is very small and seeking to gain economically from being associated with Bitcoin OR a Country that is weak and has a financial system that is about to collapse.

And can bitcoin change the country's economy for the better?

Yes, absolutely! The bitcoin industry has created wealth, which eventually gets pumped into a local economy in the way of buying goods and services...people can't hold their bitcoin forever!

Additionally, Bitcoin can serve as a safe haven for a Country whose economic system is on the verge of collapse. Of course, if people in a country start selling their currency for Bitcoin the value of their currency will decline faster.

Bitcoin's own monetary order, the anonymous distributed nature and the indirect protection of illegal transactions make it very difficult for the government to recognize. This uncontrolled flow of money is bound to impact the financial environment, while its own risk will also threaten the social and economic order. Therefore, for such an uncontrollable virtual currency, it is very difficult for governments of all countries to show their encouragement and support, which in turn will be related to the smooth development of the future of Bitcoin.

It is very difficult for bitcoin to be used as a currency used by a country. As is known many countries forbid bitcoin, because they are concerned with the circulation of bitcoin if used as a means of transaction. Everyone will use bitcoin so that the eyes of the previous state will be lost and not valid. I will agree if bitcoin is only used as an asset whether it is a trading tool or an investment. If bitcoin is used as an asset it is not impossible that the government will regulate bitcoin, because it is very good to help the country's economy.

Do governments of countries need to show their support of Bitcoin? I don't think so.

Obviously, governments can outlaw the use of Bitcoin for transactions within their jurisdiction, but let's be honest...how much Bitcoin transaction activity is really happening between businesses and consumers? Very little.

What if Bitcoin became a World Reserve Currency that fiat currencies are backed by? Like going back to the gold standard. This seems like the most realistic level of governments embracing Bitcoin.

Thoughts?

No,It can't be a currency of one country because it is a decentralized technology anyone can use it if they want so one single country cannot own bitcoin as their country's currency. But bitcoin is lot better than the current country's money because fiat lose its value day by day but bitcoin getting more value day by day.

yes, it is very possible, but not easy, because the consequence is if bitcoin is legalized and made into a currency by a country, then the government should eliminate the national currency. and it's hard to do.

so in my opinion, for a while today bitcoin is only used as a means of transaction only, as in japan and also in other countries.

and if bitcoins are made into currencies, then it will certainly improve the economy.

Feels like this one is already asked. I think my brows were no it can't help nations economy as it is impossible to without any taxes paid to government. The taxation system is still poor when it comes to crypto currency. We can skip developed countries as they have very advance system and some of them already stated roughly that they will incur taxes for any crypto transaction. So that country might just benefit from this all.

Otherwise there is only way for its contribution and that's getting the system in circulation with crypto world and collaborative banking system.

If Bitcoin would be a currency of a currency then this situation would not be normal so far i think because of the price uncertainty. not only that but also it would be a threat for the economic condition because of the decentralized system. also government will not recognize how and who is the owner of the Bitcoin.
There is also barrier in this issue, Bitcoin is only used in the virtual life but not all people of a country is not interested in using Internet for the spending or receiving money regarding their daily life. So it's really a difficult for being a currency of a currency.

Bitcoin becoming the country's currency is possible in the future when more and more governments similar to Japan starts giving importance to the use of bitcoin. Being a country's currency requires lot of legalities to be fulfilled, by this time very few countries agonize for the same.

I don't think bitcoin will be consider as currency in any country since each has it's own monetary currency and value. It will be easy to determine what country is using such a currency and I may just say, governments from any country would be implementing tax later once this cryptocurrencies will be legalized and fully implemented in their country as well. Well considering the good side, bitcoin may able to make a country's economy better like helping the unemployed people to earn profit like joining into a signature bounty campaign at least with bitcoin, they may able to lessen their financial burdens. Let bitcoin be consider as an investment for those people wishing to gain profit at a promising result.

It is possible in all the countries but it take more than 10 to 15 years. Most of the countries are implementing the cryptocurrency legalization at the same time number of countries are poor in the economic status. So we don't expect the global currency in Bitcoin. Once approved in Bitcoin it should be monitored in government so it will change as a centralized cryptocurrency. So currently it is impossible but after 10 years some changes is possible.

Bitcoin is designed for the whole world, and it is not for a specific country.
So Bitcoin can't be a currency of a specific country by any means. Though governments may develop their own currency for their own countries for their own peoples.

Maybe time is the only thing to be considered here.

it would not be possible, every country has its own local currency. you should know that.
bitcoin is a currency that can not be set by a country or individual. I think you should read and recognize again the characteristics of bitcoin. you will find plenty of understanding and knowledge.

It would take a while for everyone in a country to start using bitcoin solely as a currency. If you think how much you have had to learn about bitcoin since you have been involved.
Fiat has worked as a currency and most are happy with that however its wasn't that long ago that there was no credit and debit cards and people adapted to what is now the norm.

it's too soon for bitcoin to be the country's currency and I think there will be many people in the government that will reject bitcoin although they can see the potential of bitcoin. I don't think that the government wants their currency to be replaced with bitcoin because they cannot control the bitcoin but on the other side, I think they are holding bitcoin too. maybe we need more time before bitcoin could be a currency for one or more country and I think it is better that we could use bitcoin for making money only right now.

Well, it would be good if there would be a developed country which will be using bitcoin, because later on, other countries will just do the same thing. Just like English as our universal language. America uses English as their language, and then, the world decides to make use of it. That's how our world works.

Bitcoin will not be able to become the country’s currency ever but it will become the currency of the world, because it is not a currency with local mentality. Moreover, I admit that bitcoin has the feature which can be the reason of damage to the society but soon all of them will be regularized and then nothing will be stopping bitcoin to be in the practice. Tracking the identity of the bitcoin transaction, taxation, money laundering, they are not that serious threats that they can become a reason that world does not shift to better technology.

Bitcoin can become the currency of a country but that is almost impossible to happen because people use money everyday to pay for everything and it will take a lot of time until they are going to get used to pay with bitcoin, especially in a very big country/city. It is possible to become the currency of a small city that have only a few thousands of people living there if an investor will try and develop that city but still that is hard. Right now it seems impossible from my point of view for bitcoin to become the official currency of a country

How does the government control the flow of cash? Criminals use cash more often. Are you suggesting we ban cash? Lol. You repeat a fake that is distributed by governments and bankers. I do not believe that bitcoin will be an international currency. That isn't possible. Bitcoin can only be a national currency that will exist in parallel with Fiat.

As you are a bitcoiner, you should not write something like this because it creates FUD and etc.
I believe bitcoin is not a damage to the society but it is more than a tech which can be used for better uses.

Hiding from taxes, money laundering, drug or any other illegal activities does not happen only with bitcoin but it also happens with fiat.
Bitcoin just born 9 years ago, but before that or till now fiat is also being used for those illegal activities. Bitcoin is nothing if compared with fiat's illegal activities.

I hope you can understand what I'm trying to say.  ;)

Till the time this bitcoin is not a legal currency and the government does not accept it as the legal currency, it will be very much difficult to claim this thing that bitcoin can be a national currency, it can only become the national currency of any state if the government is willing to declare it as their official currency. Moreover, this will surely take lot of time and after that we can expect such kind of thing only.

A country will not absorb Bitcoin as its national currency. I believe that Bitcoin will stay as it is, a currency for global use. Many country will just copy Bitcoin and make their own coin. That is the most probable event that would happen. Just imagine if a country used Bitcoin as its national currency. Many could manipulate their economy with ease.

It is really far from being possible, stressing, the cycle of fiat currency will be the most severe target of that ideal. Fact that Bitcoin is a self governed currency it will be hard for any government to reign this agenda. Whereas if bitcoin will accepted in every edge of the society around th globe no doubt sooner or later it "might" have a chance of being an official currency. But I would like to believe that so far as of now with the mainstream Bitcoin it is really far from being a currency. Currencies deeply affect the prosperity of economy in every country, bitcoin, as a crypto currency can extremely contribute to any country's economy's success.

I highly doubt that a country would make bitcoin as its main currency. Remember that fiat/paper money has no value and it is only a representation of each country's gold reserve (which determines its value). Since bitcoin is highly volatile and its price is determinable upon the market volume, law of demand and supply, etc. this would create conflict upon a country's economic standing.

Second, adapting a digitalised form of payment would require everyone to at least have bitcoin and a stable internet connection. Since there are economic discrepancies among developed countries vis-a-vis developing countries and underdeveloped countries, this would too arise a conflict in international market tradings and other relevant stuff.

As of now I think that there's no possibility that it will happen because some people didn't know what bitcoin is and some government didn't allowed bitcoin in their country because of being risky. Also people need enough knowledge about it as well as the government if they will allowed it as their new currency.

Thank you for pointing that out. Just to add, a country cannot recognize a currency which is being prohibited by some countries. It must be widely accepted worldwide and the government must support its actual implementation.

Bitcoin is fast becoming acceptable for most online crypto payments and of course other alternative coins are now beginning to emerge, It is clearly that the trend will keep climbing until it becomes the acceptable alternative to fiat. When countries accept them then the legal backing of the crypto world is solid and it increases trust.....

I actually don't think that that could happen. In selecting a currency, countries undergo a long process, and it is also has a historical basis. And since most countries today already have their currencies, it would be difficult for Bitcoin to ascend to that status where it would be more considered as the currency of a country. That could happen if a new country would be created, and it would consider Bitcoin as its currency. I more so see Bitcoin as a currency that could interplay with local currencies than it being the prime currency of one country.

Hi,

Actually, I think that there are many people knowing about bitcoin... but completely unready to use it. They "know" it is a digital currency. And that's (almost) all.

On top of that, a country needs to have control on the currency it uses. So bitcoin can be used by people and businesses but for the moment it is utterly unthinkable for a government to adopt bitcoin.

impossible, if bitcoin becomes a country currency it means bitcoin is no longer decentralized, and there are still many countries dealing with the issue of bitcoin legality, and if the legality is still difficult how can bitcoin be the currency of a country.

The popularity of bitcoin has now grown so rapidly that almost everyone in different countries recognizes and utilizes bitcoin either as a business asset or as a means of payment transactions.
And as we know so far the bitcoin legality is still a consideration for governments in various countries.

Looking at that fact is it possible bitcoin will be the currency of a country?
And can bitcoin change the country's economy for the better?

Regarding the second question, whether BTC can change the country's economy for the better, I think BTC has done so since it was set up.
And if it can become a country's official currency, why not. If there is such a government that wants to get rid of the banks, which is I not believe.  ;D

Bitcoin is not yet worthy of a country's currency, compared to the country's currency, bitcoins are so unstable even in seconds, to serve as currency, there is no guarantee that bitcoin will last a lifetime for used transactions. Bitcoin greatly values the privacy of its users, the government will find it difficult to know, manage, or control the bitcoin

Exactly not soon it will happen. Since there are so many flaws in bitcoin, for example, the same time spent on one transaction. And the fact that the state will not be able to control bitcoin (since it is a decentralized currency). Purely because of this, they do not want to recognize him. Without taking into account a number of other difficulties.

for a country to accept the BTC it is unlikely that,
even from the point of view I find that all central banks will refrain from debating this matter in more detail,
this is because the issue that is often played is the secret of holders and transactions
that enable the occurrence of abuse in money laundering and terrorist financing

in addition,
the BTC does not represent any country and has separate with
development by teams that shape the economic landscape in our own mold
without intervention from any financial institution and this is in contrast to the 8 world giants currency
that have political power and economic relations strong with all countries and
compete with each other through geo-political and economic static

but in the event that have a country recognizes BTC
as their country currency it will be a matter
that really happens beyond the reach of the mind.
we can assume it is a success and will change
the world economy landscape completely.

I don't think that in the democratic environment, anything like this is possible because we elect some representatives to represent us but they want to control the things on behalf of us so as a governing authority, they don't want us to hold our values as they seek the control on it. Thus, I am not expecting Bitcoin to emerge as a national currency of any democratic country.

Yes, bitcoin legality is still a consideration in many countries, but I don’t think that bitcoin will ever be legalised as an official currency by many countries. Bitcoin is quite volatile and has scalability issue that makes it not fit for being a currency. If bitcoin is ever made a legal currency in any country, it can improve the financial status of the country but it can also prove to be opposite due to volatility of bitcoin. So according to me bitcoin can be termed as an asset, but not as a currency. Its just a store of value nothing more.

No its not possible. Because there is no country which has population of same IQ that is needed to use Bitcoin. There is always to be some dumbass, that doesn't know anything about technology, and keep being ignorant, because he/she/it doesn't want to learn new stuff.
Revolution takes time and moreover not everyone can afford to have higher level education in a country cause of many problems that can either be family issues or financial issue. Not every people is literate enough to understand the technology that lies beneath bitcoin or any other crypto currencies.

Bigger changes take time to occur for a mass population, its not a thing that can get applied in a fortnight. And if guided properly each citizen of any country can learn to use bitcoin. Its not them being ignorant and dumbass its you people that thing the same.

Bitcoin is not ready to become used as a national. There's no enough place in the blocks. However, lightning network should solve this problem because it will allow us to move most of the transactions off-chain. It is not a perfect solution because we still have to use on-chain transactions for opening channel which means that higher blocksize will be needed anyway.

There's no way Bitcoin is becoming the currency of a country. Countries would rather prefer developing their own currency than using something they don't have any control over. What makes you think some country will use Bitcoin on which they have no control but not create their own? You can see an example with Venezuela, which created its own currency petro.

The popularity of bitcoin has now grown so rapidly that almost everyone in different countries recognizes and utilizes bitcoin either as a business asset or as a means of payment transactions.

I don’t think what you said is even slight correct, but rather its just the opposite. You are saying that bitcoin provides indirect protection against illegal activities. That’s totally incorrect. Bitcoin has given rise to many illegal activities and funding of terrorist organisations in the world.

It hasn’t provided any protection against illegal activities. I don’t think that’s even gonna stop until the exchanges , etc are regulated in various countries. And ofcoarse government wont declare an asset as a currency which they cant even control.

Therefore, for such an uncontrollable virtual currency, it is very difficult for governments of all countries to show their encouragement and support, which in turn will be related to the smooth development of the future of Bitcoin.

Thoughts?
Government of country needs to show their support in regulation of bitcoin and not in making it some virtual currency used to buy real world stuffs. Without support of government and without regulating bitcoin and other crypto assets, neither country no crypto market can grow. Bitcoin can never be backed by fiat currency and even if it is backed up by them, it doesn’t solve the volatility and scalability problem of bitcoin.

Government can regulate bitcoin, but it can never be stopped as transactions are anonymous. Bitcoin can never be either considered as a currency and neither can be a reserve backed by fiat currency cause that wont even make sense.

Yes, bitcoin will possibly become the country's currency as we can see it is know getting popular, not only that some countries are know adapting bitcoin or crypto as mode of payment as they can see its huge potential, however before it happens I think there will be few steps that government will take before they consider adapting it. Bitcoin is difficult to become a currency, and it is impossible for governments to make it a unit of account for economic activities and transactions. This is a fundamental attribute of money, and bitcoin can hardly change the credit ecology in a modern economic environment. To reduce the pro-cyclicality of finance, the feasible way is to reform the existing monetary pyramid and standardize finance, rather than restart the stove.

Crypto currency will definitely help some countries to overpass sanctions, and most likely boost economy of this country.

It is difficult to make bitcoin into the country's currency. Despite the robust development of bitcoin and it's convenience, many still do not trust it. So many governments do not accept bitcoin. In a country, a lot of people do not know what bitcoin is, there are some elements who don't known about technology, refuse to learn new things, and barely understand the bitcoin knowledge.

No its not possible. Because there is no country which has population of same IQ that is needed to use Bitcoin. There is always to be some dumbass, that doesn't know anything about technology, and keep being ignorant, because he/she/it doesn't want to learn new stuff.

Aside from that, the country's economy and market itself would be totally reliant to internet and they should be able to provide internet services throughout the nation plus the market price would be very volatile to be used across that county.

You are right because no government can fully control the bitcoin. because the bitcoin is decentralized. The greatest possibility is that a government creates its own cryptocurrency which they can fully control.

it seems that many governments are very anti with bitcoin, bitcoin potential that will harm the government is the reason, but if the government can be a little friendly, maybe they can give certain rules so bitcoin can only be the option for local currency, that would benefit both parties right?

If bitcoin becomes the world reserve currency, then on its basis central banks will be able to issue their fiat (not having their own value) money. Thus, the gold standard, which existed in the world financial system until the early 1970s, will return in essence. The issue of fiat money will be one of the last possibilities of central banks to influence monetary policy...

To realize the idea of the world currency, which should become a means of payment, it is necessary to motivate people to start using bitcoin and other crypto-currencies in order to practice all the mechanisms of this technology in practice. It is very difficult to do this when there is high volatility, and the rate is constantly growing. Therefore, the next stage in the development of the entire project will be the stabilization of the course. There are still reasons to believe that the rate will increase

In order that bitcoin could become the main currency for it, like any other technology, it is necessary to overcome the stage of development, on which the problems of scalability, flexibility and anonymity will be solved. As mentioned above, the complexity of the Bitcoin network obliges its developers to create a thoughtful solution for scaling the network, since an insufficiently competent approach can either lead to the separation of the Bitcoin network or provoke serious security problems that will disappear in the future.

This depends on what country you are residing. If you're country has fuly embraced and accpted the idea of bitcoin, then, it has a possibility that it can be the next virtual currency. Bitcoin has a full potential to make one's financial  grow since it has a very high value and a demand in the market. If people in one country will invest in it, it would contribute to the economic growth of one country.

Neither bitcoin, nor other cryptocurrencies in the near future will be able to become national currencies for 3 main reasons:
1. The government (central bank) will not be able to fully control this currency
2. Cryptocurrency transactions are much slower than transactions in monetary bank transfers
3. The process of transition from one currency to another is very long and difficult at the legislative level

Technically, it is possible but it will be really difficult. We have had debit and credit cards for a long time and still there are many places where you can't pay with them. We would have to spend lots of money on educating people how to use Bitcoin. Also, Bitcoin is still not capable of handling that many transaction per second. If even a small country decided to make Bitcoin their official currency then it would be a disaster. Lightning Network is still not ready and not as easy to use as on-chain transactions. We still need some time.

It will be very dangerous if it is attacked by other crypto currencies. No country will take this risk.

Yes, i guess so, specially to the third world countries who are so poor, if bitcoin becomes the world currency then perhaps the exchange rate is equal. It would mean a great help to the poor countries because bitcoin could really help the economy and reduced the unemployment rate. Many people are earning more in bitcoin than in their regular job.

Monies have to be generally acceptable, portable, divisible into smaller units, durable, limited in supply, and uniform (so that we don’t have to spend time working out whether something really is a dollar, or a pound, or a gold sovereign). It is easy to understand how a commodity such as gold can evolve into money.

For me it is not possible that Bitcoin will become the main currency of a country it is because of it's volatility which makes it uncertain. When it comes to cahnging the country's economic gain or for the betterness, I can probably say that, yes of course it will help improve. There's a chance that bitcoin will help out a country's economy by giving the citizens a way to make money, means there's another source of income which is good for the country and it will be taxable.
Bitcoin can be a country's currency but it will not be the main one, it can be a sort of alternative payment just like what's on the news that it's possible for someone to pay taxes through bitcoin.
Since the main feature of bitcoin is to be that way.

I don't believe it's conceivable and it shouldn't need to. We as a whole realize that bitcoin is prominent among individuals everywhere throughout the world yet that doesn't imply that their cash were being changed into bitcoin or some other digital forms of money. Each nation has their own particular cash and that is the thing that characterize their identity. Suppose we change all the cash into bitcoin, at that point every one of the nations won't have character for themselves. Give them a chance to have their own particular cash and make bitcoin as a legitimate worldwide money.

I do not give a chance like this. No country currency does not make crypt money.
In the future, the countries will take out their own money. Such a thing will not happen in the near future.
Crypto money continues to be traded on stock exchange sites. I do not think anything will happen outside of it.
You are right. I am very sure if in the future there will be many countries that make their own cryptocurrency. So they can control and monitor it to the fullest. It can not be denied that the financial system has developed after the creation of cryptocurrency. The development of this technology should be utilized properly, so the government must also take a wise decision.

If bitcoin would be the primary means of transaction of a certain country, that would probably needs a lot of transition and changes to the entire market and trading system of that said country. Consider not only the system of exchange but also the payment for services rendered and the whole circulation of their financial system. It is more realistic to look at bitcoin as an alternative choice of currency at the moment. A compliment to national progress and an instrument to an innovative future.

Bro it can be the common currency between countries for huge transaction and not for small transaction cause if it will be the daily currency then there is a problem cause it needs at least 3 confirmation otherwise transaction can be cancelled and if for faster confirmation it takes a lot of transaction fees so it can not be used as daily currency.

if we talk about bitcoin all must have heard its greatness and its popularity to date all countries have acknowledged the existence of bitcoin even today there are still many bitcoin users in my country

but for payment transactions in our country have not reached an agreement and the government still not fully accept bitcoin as an easy and alternative payment tool, why the government can not use bitcoin as a means of payment:

1. because the government already has a means of payment (money) that is very easy to use for payment in my country

2. Unequal economic disparities in our country are also strong reasons not to use bitcoin as an easy and transparent method of payment

3. in my country is still developing so it is very difficult to promote bitcoin as an alternative payment tool

maybe one day bitcoin will become a means of payment throughout the country even in developing countries though can use and enjoy the progress that has been achieved by Bitcoin that I can say about the complexity in my country. thank you :)

Bitcoin can be a means of payment in any state, that is, it can walk as money. However, he can do this only along with the usual national money of the state. Bitcoin can replace national money, but this will have a detrimental effect on the economy of such a country because of its high volatility. Therefore, it is able to contribute to the development of the country's economy only if it goes along with the usual national money of the state.

I don't think bitcoin will become a country's currency. It is necessary to know that as a country's currency, it needs to be very stable, if your exchange rate is unstable so there is no national reason and you have economic trade, then the country's economy will be very closed, so it is not possible.

It will be a good news. I think it's a new generation demand that crypto currency should be accepted throughout the whole world as an income source but also as a currency instead of flat currency available now. The main reason behind this is the acceptance and also the availability and also the easy transition. Many economist predicted that one day will come when crypto currency will rule the world. There will also be some flat currency but it will be less comparing with the crypto currency.

In my opinion about. Well honestly, Its too early to say that it will be the currency of a country because bitcoin is just getting started and as of now, its popularity gradually becoming acquainted and before it would be a currency in the country it will need to be stable in its price.

There will have a tons of studying before it will implemented and the goverment will consider all the possible outcome of it to the people especially to remote places that the internet signal is weak and poor people that can not afford to have an internet connection and a smart phone. There would many possible  hard time for the bitcoin user before the government will recognize and legalize it.

Bitcoin becoming a nation's currency is not likely to happen in any country because of the level of technology with which a person needs to trade with bitcoin. In as much as technology is advancing some countries especially those in Africa have limited resources when it comes to technology and its use. but i will say that it can rather me accepted as a mode of payment for people who understand it and want to use it just to avoid the involvement of central banks.

If bitcoin would be able to be a currency in a country then i think that it moght be a hassle at the start, a struggle especially if it completely overtakes the physical currency of that country. However if there are regulations in place before they put it up, and they have completely have the technology to ride with them to deal with all the digital requirements to make this into completion then I think we can witness a start and dawn of the digital age completey.

Bitcoin can only slowly become a mainstream currency. It is basically impossible to become a legal currency. Each country will have its own legal currency. Even if that currency does not have any value, the government will not allow such uncontrolled currency to become theirs. The legal currency, of course, Bitcoin can become a currency commonly used by a country, which requires the approval of the government and the people.

To become any country's currency bitcoin should have a stable value in the market. But Bitcoin is having a fluctuation nature. So i think it will never become a country's current yes it can be an international currency for business and exchange purpose.

For bitcoin to become the main currency, like any other technology, it needs to overcome the stage of development, which will solve the problems of scalability, flexibility and anonymity.

The country must legalize first the cryptocurrency. This is the first thing that should be done by the government for it to be recognize by the people and see it as a no problem in all payment transactions. Bitcoin can greatly enhance the economy of the country since a lot of investors are investing and seeing it as an asset. It will also attract investors for those people that are interested in investing but their country wont allow.

This can happen in different countries because bitcoin has a lot of equipment in all currencies.
I think it's just that we're having trouble finding no internet as well.

Bitcoin does not deserve to be a tool of exchange because it has no underlying basis, because it differs from the money commonly used today. Bitcoin is volatile or volatile, in no way qualifies as a currency.

If bitcoin becomes the countries currency, then it means the demand for it will be so high that we that hold a little will even get more value from our holding. But due to the lack of transparent in bitcoin dealings, it will be hard it becomes a national currency.

Bitcoin could become the alternative currency of a country but it can't easily replace a national or main currency of the State. To become a part of a nation's alternative currency, it must be legalized first and might be a subject to any regulation of the government's monetary system. Majority of the people are not use to a kind of currebcy that can't be see nor touch so it will take more time for them to be used to it.

At present, the global bitcoin transaction volume has reached more than 200,000 daily, and the number of merchants accepting bitcoin payment has reached several hundred thousand and is growing rapidly. In some developed countries, using only Bitcoin already meets day-to-day needs. It is believed that in the near future, Bitcoin will become the mainstream currency on the Internet. But it will not become a legal currency.

This is an inevitable event that is bound to happen. As humanity emerges into a more technological world, the status of monetary affairs shift to cashless and this is spearheaded by Bitcoin. Some countries like South Korea has taken a lead in the legalization of Bitcoin as a currency and with time several countries will follow. The presence of Bitcoin in a country brings both financial satisfaction and job opportunities thereby enhancing the economy of the country.

It is not possible, but bitcoins that are not affiliated with a country in my opinion are very likely to be the world's currency for trading.
Without any affiliation the influence of a country's circumstances to the value of Bitcoin would be minimal,
so Bitcoin would be more stable in its exchange rate.

Bitcoin could be one's country currency if the government of a particular country is open in the acceptance of that digital currency and of course it will go thru the process before it would be legalize. But for the countries that feels that crypto is a threat to the economy of the country it would not happen. Bitcoin has changed lives of a lot of people who believes and invest in the crypto currencies and no doubt about that. But I think eventually bitcoin will evolve as the currency in the near future.

It's not possible, primarily because a country needs to be able to control the supply of money - otherwise it has only limited control over its own economy.

I think the more viable route is creating an altcoin/token. That way you can have a degree of control, yet still take part in the crypto-economy at large - which I do believe will become the economy of the world.

Cryptos that represents a country is also possible but not specifically a primary coin like bitcoin or etherium rather in the form of ico coin or tokens . There are now many devs that creates their own coin with a name of their own country.

I do not envy the state that will have the imprudence of recognizing bitcoin as the currency of its country, I mean that bitcoin will be used instead of its national paper money. The eco-tourism of such a country is quickly disregarded. It will be impossible either to plan the economy or monitor its implementation of the budget. This will interfere with its high volatility.
Bitcoin can only walk in the country along with the national money of this state. Therefore, do not even dream about anything else.

I highly doubt that bitcoin will become any country's main currency. However I believe it can replace paypal and be used for international, or merely private, transactions.

It would possible if governments should take a positive step and bank should behaviour friendly with cryptocurrencies. Always bank disappointed bitcoin as they consider bitcoin as their trading competitors.

And can bitcoin change the country's economy for the better?
all may happen without we can know if all countries recognize bitcoin as a currency applicable to make the transaction process may be the currency of a country

no it cannot become a currency of a country. bitcoin cannot be used without electricity and not all part of the country have electricity especially the poor. bitcoin is good but it has also its disadvantages. but it will be good if it coexist with fiat.

Even though bitcoin have gone so popular still it is not enough to say bitcoin could be the national currency it will remain as a digital currency it will never overthrow the fiat because of its decentralization.

The country's currency can be rested on the shoulders of the blockchain technology and bitcoin in precision as it has enough room to accommodate it and also has the ledger function for record keeping purposes and also for transparency which i know is one of the facts that makes it reliable.

If bitcoin becomes the country's currency, it is definitely bitcoin will be the best coin because it has become the country's currency, but that is unlikely because the government does not like bitcoin.

That is unlikely, because the average of a country has government and government on average do not like bitcoin. Because bitcoin can not be set, bitcoin is more a worthy asset to invest than to be the country's currency.

Bitcoin can be used by a currency apart from their own currency which is great already and can prove a lot of potential. But replacing the country's currency is too far-fetched. A country's currency is currency that they can control and shows the collective economy of the nation. Bitcoin in the other hand is digital/crypto currency which is international and decentralized which cannot really show the economy of a country. Bitcoin can still be a part of the country but it cannot replace the country's currency.

I think Bitcoin will not be the world's currency. Because there are too many security breaches and a lack of price stability. The common currency never has a price fluctuation. It only increases the value or decreases over time.

With the growth it attained within the short term, it is expected to get termed to be the world currency. Later people realized that it need to travel long and get spread in a large scale, because considering the fiat usage bitcoin is very small in percentage. This needs to change when people start to understand the goodness of digital growth.

maybe one day the government can make bitcoin as part of their currency ..
It could be if the government can manage bitcoin properly and correctly.

For bitcoin to be the country's currency is an advantage to those who know how it works but it would be difficult for those who cannot even afford to understand how it works.

It could happen. For now it is still difficult because only developed countries can be relied upon while large small countries are likely to want to grow like the superpowers. The country wants a more sophisticated technological advancement in order for its people to prosper. Therefore it takes a long time for bitcoin to be the currency of all countries.

If bitcoin will be the currency of a country, I believe that it is impossible. It is not possible as the new currency will shift the national currency that a country has been using for years. It is impossible. I just argue that the national currency and bitcoin will complement each other without any one dominating. If I am asked that bitcoin can boost the economy . Then the answer is it can. With the existence of bitcoin then payment can be free, easy, and fast. The trading market was open to anyone. For example, if a country has good products that will be easily bought by people who are in cross-country. This will be very profitable. So the existence of this crypto currency will improve the economy.

indeed the problem in many countries until now is the issue of the legality of this virtual currency. and to be a currency in a country I think it is impossible for now because the value of this virtual currency is always changing every time.

it will not be possible bitcoin to be the currency of the country. Because of its international nature, bitcoin is only used as a means of transaction only, as in japan and also in other countries.

It's not possible. I think ordinary people will not be easy to use. But nothing can happen ... Business firms can be created in all countries to make purchases in the future through Bitcoin.

It is impossible. Bitcoin can not be the currency of a country. Because each country already has its own currency. So my opinion here is bitcoin will remain a digital currency and used but not eliminate or replace the currency of a country. So that's not possible even though bitcoin has been highly developed and popular.

To be the currency of a country is impossible because the government will not let that happen, but to become a global currency it may happen, when many people in various countries around the world start using bitcoin, of course many parties will receive payment with bitcoin, and bitcoin can be used anywhere to shop

if bitcoin is the main currency in some countries I think it is very unlikely because if you see bitcoin has a very limited total supply that makes bitcoin very unsuitable to be the main currency in a country.
