If BTK is a currency, so we need a stronger/faster/cheaper blockchain, not a token on Ethereum blockchain, because you use their netmowrk -> your maximum speed is speed of Ethereum blockchain.

You're right though but how do they intend to raise funds to support this ICO-free project?

sell the tokens they have, but they need to create demand, hence the airdrops

When are expecting the distribution? When is airdrop closing?

I think airdrop will finish when 7B BTK token is airdropped.
So community can join now and earn free tokens for future!

Calculate: They share 7B with the community, each participant receives 5000 BTK, so BitcoinToken will have a community of 1.4M.

It's not listed officially on etherdelta but you can trade it there. Anyway, i'm holding till it hits the moon

any big exchange in the future? etherdelta and forkdelta I cannot count as exchange.

You say that, but last time I had a coin that had a huge supply of 100 billion was EXRN and it went up 150x. I made $1500 from it.
That was just from the airdrop too (email & ETH address), not even a tweet or bounty.

Thanks! But I was referring to major exchanges (bittrex, etc.), although I know this needs time and lot of team work to deliver the promised.

I don't think it'll be on major exchanges soon, it'd get destroyed by a pump and dump with it's current low trading volume, not to mention the name!
If you want to be hopeful for something realistic I'd recommend medium sized exchanges; KuCoin and Bibox to name a couple.
That said, it could probably get a YoBit listing to enter P&D territory without much difficulty.

Be listed on KuCoin would be excellent! This exchange is new, but has a great volume.
