I have ordered and paid for the registration of lovric.bit at their Web site – www.dot-bit.org – and have received no response – even after contacting them via e-mail – for almost 3 weeks now.

In fact, it is the best idea to not use a registar, because the domain belongs to them instead of you and there is no regulatory agency to keep their behavior in check.

My present knowledge of Namecoin is limited to the terms "Bitcoin-based" and "decentralized". In my case, I've received no response for almost 3 months after payment. They (https://www.bitcointalk.org/?action=profile;u=4957)'re logging into Bitcointalk; therefore, they're not in a hospital, in prison, their workstation is not dead, or wherever, so they should be able to – at least – respond.
