Until now Bitcoin is still the King in all aspects. But through last year until now, more and more new coins appear everyday. Bitcoin is now going to many difficult problems, we all know this. Some are better, Ethereum is the one, in my opinion. Guys do you think that Bitcoin will lose its first position on cyptocurrency market this year?

Bitcoin will not be replaced and not the right reason if alt grows to a lot, it can replace the current bitcoin position.

I would personally recommend to invest in future coins with real life use and applications and that are gonna be of high demand in the future increasing the price

No, I think bitcoin will always remain in the first position because when bitcoin falls, everything else falls with it.  Today is an example of that.  It will be very difficult for any altcoin to surpass bitcoin.  I don't see it ever happening.

Bitcoin will always be the top coin, but we don't know yet, time and people will decide on that. But I'm sure that btc will still reign up until 10 years maybe, but I'm just speculating, and this is all based on my opinion.

Bitcoin will not be replaced, because now all countries only admit the status of the Bitcoin, but not admit altcoin status, on the contrary, all countries are going to further regulation altcoin and ICO.

Bitcoin still KINGCOIN in 2018

Until now, the candidate with the most possible to replace bitcoin as the king is Ethereum.
ETH has big community and big trust. But I think BTC will still the king in this year.
And also ETH has big marketcap and a lot of coin paired to ETH in a lot of exchangers.

Bitcoin still the KING of cryptocurrency world. In 2019 ETH can defeat duel to High useful of ethereum smartcontract and Smart investors ICO. But now we should keep tradng and looking forward the future

It is difficult for bitcoin to lose its position. If it goes down a bit, other atl may fall further and I've seen this drunk a lot over the years.

For me the old one couldn't be replace by the new one unless the the old coin stay as passive. I couldn't imagine bitcoin as replaceable. I see bitcoin as the permanent in the position of number one. Even the climate change struck bitcoin still it will recover and survive from all the FUD. Whatever, bitcoin still the number one.

I think so. Bitcoin could be dethroned in the end of this year by Ethereum, if Ethereum's development will be going pretty well. But I still think BTC's price will increase in the long run.

Crypto king is definitely Bitcoin, and i dont see it being dethroned anytime soon. The very word altcoin sets btc apart from the rest.

NEO certainly has a huge potential, but it can not get ahead of bitcoin. Hardly even see a serious rivalry with Ethereum in 2018.

I think Bitcoin will never fall below the first place. He is the first, he is the king. Already there are much better coins technologically, but he's still the first, and the first one will remain.

No i do not think that bitcoin will lose its position this year but it will go more higher in demand this year after the regulations get stabilized and the states announce bitcoin as a safe for the investors. This year you see the price drop only because of the news of regulations but people do not know that these regulations are only to bring those investors who are relying on the support of the states and those who want the security from the states so the states activity in this field will boost up the bitcoin demand and the price will be at a more higher value.

We are still on early stages of crypto grow, so who knows what happened with BTC and alts in nearest few years? It can end like tullip, or (whats for me is more probably) like dotcom bubble, when after the real crash shitty projects will die, and only strong valuable ideas survives.

Monitor all kinds of coins and tokens here because all are worth it like don't ask what is the king from all of coins then focus on their worth

Btc,eth,ltc,bnb,bcc,neo are good coins for me and aion,strat,lun are good also in tokens like all of this 9 are king for me

Bitcoin for sure, but the Bitcoin dominance (https://coincodex.com/market-overview/) will be dropping over 2018 IMO. It already lost a lot in 2017, but it will stay on the top.

There are really promising coins like ethereum, NEO, etc., but I think bitcoin has a better popularity and that popularity is growing every day.

Right now, it's hard to imagine Bitcoin being knocked from it's number 1 position. But could it happen ? It is hard to fathom it getting beat out any time soon. But this competitive shift doesn’t have to take place in the near future. Of which, it there is no possibility of it taking place. Bitcoin is the king and it will continue to remain as the king.

I think that only one cryptocurrency can do it. This is an etherium. Bitcoin has no competitors. Only the etherium is capable of this. But it will not happen soon.

Crypto will not have a new King in next 5 or 10 years. LOL. It's not easy to get over Bitcoin and take the King crown from Bitcoin. If you can see Bitcoin price is much higher than all other cryptocurrencies on the crypto market, it's the biggest challenge that all other cryptocurrencies need to get over first if they want to be the king of crypto world. Beside Market cap of Bitcoin is also a big challenge that they need to get over as well. LOL.

No coin will come near Bitcoin the next 5 years, in my opinion. I have not seen any coin that has been so popular as Bitcoin. This is enough so far.

For 2018, I think bitcoin will still remain as the king of cryptocurrency. It will take more years before someone will takeover. I think ETH will do that in five or more years.

In my opinion, it would take a few more years for EHT to exceed Bitcoin's price. Not possible in 2018. In 2018 this will be the year of reform of the Cryptocurrency market, the Altcoin will fluctuate according to the general trend of the market. And by the end of 2018 the atlcoin will boom under the strength of each. That is my personal opinion.

Ethereum first would be the best Rivalry for bitcoin. If everything gone bad then Ethereum will going to pump. So we can exit on bearish market and some altcoins will pump also if BItcoin stays on it's price.

In the market, there are always a lot of changes and new projects, new technologies, but it's hard to believe that bitcoin can replace someone or take his place at the top. I personally think that this will not happen in the near future.

If bitcoin gets recognized more than it does right now, the deserved recognition will make it the undisputed king of crypto. If you are referring to the prices of the coins then some coins might actually surpass bitcoin, with the growth of some that are really ridiculous.

Without Lightning Network is Bitcoin useless as a currency, so we might see a new cryptocurrency leader. This process will face several enormous problems, as a lot of people still think that we have got only Bitcoin over here. Secondly, Bitcoin is iconic for every crypto lover/investor/enthusiast and whales that own a big chunk of BTC will (hopefully) never make an economic suicide and wouldn't destroy the price of BTC. The new king would signalize that cryptocurrencies have moved on and useful platforms will be rewarded with a great attention of people. This year? We have seen more crazy scenarios than this one, I would support it for as long as it is not something like Bitconnect or shitcoin without any real purpose  ;D.

If they succeed in bringing in the masses into crypto with the 1st arbitrage exchange then they will give every top coin a run for their money. Whichever coin brings in the masses will, they have the best chance in my opinion being that they will level the price volatility that keeps so many scared people out of the market.

I really agree with your words. Indeed Bitcoin is the king of crypto. What is seen now is, if the price of bitcoin goes down surely the other altcoins will follow. So we can conclude that Bitcoin is the king of cryptocurrencies.

I don't think there will be any new cryptocurrency king, I believe Bitcoin will remain the king of cryptocurrency, the only thing is that, Bitcoin may have some competitors.
