This is a promotion that not only will help out this site but everyone in general. Firstly users can get bitcoins, allowing them to spend them on merchants, in turn increasing the btc economy. Next it will help user locate vendors that are favorable to deal with! Lastly Bitcoin related sites will get more traffic from people reviewing and looking at their directory page.

So here is what you need to do. You need to write a review of a vendor (positive or negative) and you will get a payout in bitcoins for your time.

The rules are as follows:
-You cannot rate listings that have 5+ reviews
-The review has to be at least 2 sentences
-Has to be a unique review (cannot be a generic statement, has to relate to the listing)
-Users cannot spam reviews (low quality mass reviews)

Please keep in mind the difference between reviews and just writing a description/comments. Only reviews get payouts.

I can write a review for a vendor from which i didn't bought anything?

Not just vendors are in the directory, services, information sites, even this site is on there! Not just for people who sell items.

I've updated it to also adding new listings. Check the forum post provided for updated rules! Again this is a initial roll out that might soon be a way for users to earn btc's!

Our first 3 people have submitted reviews! So quick question do you think that .005 = about 60 cents is too low? I mean it takes a bout a minute to write a review. If you think about it thats a good salary if you sat there and wrote reviews for an hour.

Is there a limit of how many review each people can do and get Bitcoin?

Right now there is no limit just need to follow the guidelines in the link given. As long as you rate listings with less than 5 reviews and it is a relevant review it will get the credit. Please remember to post your wallet address in the review (it will be deleted when approved!) or if you want to add new listings that also gets you the .005 btc's as well.

Please also pay attention the link given when the rating payout period ends all further reviews will not be given a payout. The periods will differ depending on demand and my marketing budget.

I've added 2 new programs on-top of the listing submissions and the review submission. You may now submit bugs/suggestions to get anywhere from .005 to 1btc. You may also now suggest categories. Please read the rules here to get your payouts!

Hello Everyone,
I've made several payout but the promotion has been haulted! Don't worry I paid out everyone except a few of you are 1-2 payouts short. I will however pay you out when I get my next coinbase deposit. They seemed to have taken away the instant feature for not credit card validated accounts (and I am trying to get my card validated but it freezes). So it will be some time before my deposit clears and I can pay the rest of you what I owe.

I managed to finally get my CC verified and payouts have all wen out to people. The promotion has currently stopped. Need to work out some kinks and want to work on a new feature that will fit right in. I also want to monitor how reviews impact people who search for my site as well as hits from my site to someone else's.

It seems that .005 is the sweet spot to not make me go broke and for people to want to write reviews.

Just a quick reminder to the power posters, I have started turning away a lot of reviews because you firstly can't rate a service/product you havn't used (being completely speculative isn't a review). Some of the posts take what the site offers and re-iterates it and adds a positive or negative spin not really reviewing.

I do not payout for reviews that are generic or re-hash the description of the site. Also cannot payout for reviews that are based on speculation.

All payments are up to date. You will receive a email if any reviews do not qualify for payout.

You were not paid out for submissions that were not reviews. Some of your submissions were actually just descriptions of the website and if you thought you liked the look of it. When the service/prdouct itself wasn't reviewed.

I don't remember which ones you were not paid out for. The system should have sent you emails alongside the ones you didn't get payouts for. Secondly you run the risk of not being paid out for what I mentioned above. It will be published regardless of a payout or not (unless it does not qualify for that listing or is inappropriate). This is a promotion when you click submit you agree to the terms I outlined. Your posts are turning into spamming to make a quick btc and not reviewing whats relevant.

But for instance:

"Mt. Gox has been the keystone in the bitcoin universe. Started trading tradeable "magic" cards they developed into a large full on powerhouse exchange. Problems have emerged recently that are still up in the air with U.S. regulators and litigation with another bitcoin company. I'd wait and see before going too big here right now."

That is a describing the history and current events and issuing a warning. It isn't reviewing the service they provided to you. A review would be something like: "I used Mtgox for a while until recently when they dropped dwolla support. Their trade engine is slow and buggy. They seemed to have another issue with withdrawing USD. I would not recommend them at all. I'd use x instead until mtgox has figured out their problems."

Here is another example:
"Private Internet Access is the VPN Service provider used for bitcointalk and many otother popular bitcoin related websites. They are very reliable and have a stateside legal team. I like how they are eager to address issues in a timely mnner and have great customer support."

Reviewing a vpn context is key, if you review a vpn make it towards a VPN: "I got consistent speed's and I like the fact they take bitcoin to stay anonymous. I use their VPN client to connect and have had little issues with it. I am able to download at 90% my original bandwidth' etc I've noticed that my IP has stayed hidden to outside providers."

I payed out the ones that qualified for the promotion. You have a twisted sense of how a contest works. If you don't follow the guide lines you won't get paid out. I don't know how many times I've had to make it clear to you. I pm'd you, I had the system message you what didn't qualify, and I explained multiple times on this forum. I have been more then professional with you.

I've reviewed a few, is there any limit to the amount of quality reviews you can place?

No limit but we have gotten much more strict on the payout criteria due to the increase in review payout value. We can clearly see when someone is adding a lot of reviews in a row and start get spammy rather then helpful.

Idk if this is still going on. But i just submitted a review for Electrum. Do you hand out payment for every completed review?

It will be assessed at the time of Round 4. If for instance the bitcoin price drops to 100 then it will be raised, and if it goes up to 300 it will be dropped.

Well had a few people literally write reviews to their fingers bled, but I also kicked a bunch of their reviews out due to spammy nature, and facts didn't match up.

Any ideas when this new round will be online?
