Are you going to use your own blockchain ?

So, I've skimmed your WP and understood that you are going to verify the Officer's verdicts using the blockchains. Can you say why exactly you need the blockchains to do that. I mean, you could do that without the blockchains?

In the first stage we plan to use Ethereum blockchain, but  in the future we will look at the evolution of blockchain technologies. And, in case if better and more progressive solutions will appear, we will consider using them.

We won't be using blockchain to verify the verdicts of Officers'. Blockchain will be used to store the information about all reports and verdicts.

The only way to fight against this is to increase the budget of cybersecurity in my opinion.

I think its a very good idea! But were are guarantees that you wont take money from scams and put them high rating! You know that real police can be bought! ;)

We understand your concerns but we are not a rating agency. We are creating a platform where the community will make all decisions - the project owners won't have any influence on decision-making. We guarantee it also with the technologies we will use - all data, verifications and activities will be stored on blockchain and everyone will be able to get acquainted with this information. This will be interesting to watch, especially the parts where scammers just temporarily disappear into the shadows and come back with more advanced scams later on.
People will still get scammed, and here they will just have another target to throw blame at.

I suppose a toothless guard-dog that can only bark is better than no guard-dog at all. But I don't see much credibility in having an ICO for it.

When cryptopolice shows apparent red flags in some of the projects, then people definitely should NOT put their money into these projects (fake team, bought insta/youtube followers etc)...

If you don't put money at scammers, they cannot "return". Advanced scams - maybe, but "advanced" scams take up only 1% (educated guess...) of the market. It's the 99% that worries everybody.

I'm pretty sure that if this tool by cryptopolice shows red flag regarding certain ICOs or scammy internet activities and people ignore it, they cannot "throw the blame at it"  :P

Interesting, but what criteria will you be using to determine that say a cryptocoin is a scam. We all know coins that we are not happy about. Someone could just report a coin to get back at the developers without it really being a scam per se.
