Running my qdp masternode in vultr vps and getting paid everyday, in every hour. But everytime i close my pc and restart, i need to download block index. What is the wrong with the wallet? Am i only the sufferer in this issue? Anyone else?

It's perfectly normal for the wallet to sync after it's closed and reopened. It is catching up with the latest blocks.

May be I was unable to highlight the issue. I know how wallet sync each time I open the wallet. But regarding QDP, a error window is poped up and ask for my permission to download block index. it does not occur to any other wallet, at least I have not seen it ever.
And too much silence in discord and here too, price is sinking like titanic. So is it another so called shit MN coin, Pumpy and dumpy one ?

It's the first time this error has been brought up. Could you please screencopy the error and dm to any dev in the discord channel?

I need some help...
How can I update my wallet on VPS?

The new version (v1.2.1) with modified block reward structure has been release on github https://github.com/qudexpay/qudexpay/releases/tag/v1.2.1  Please update your wallet file accordingly.

Change Log:

This release mainly modified the block reward structure according to the community vote in discord. The first block that affected is block 43201, currently we're on block ~25000 so the change point will be ~12 days from now. Time should be sufficient for everybody to upgrade their wallets.

Installation tips:

1. Download wallet file according to your pc sys(Win Linux are supported)
2. Change your wallet file:
    2.1 Win users, please close your qdp-qt wallet, copy new qdp-qt-x64/x86.exe to the same location(you can backup your previous file for safety sake). Then run qt wallet. Done.
    2.2 Linux users, if you're using qt graphic interface, do the same as above. Command line users, please stop qdpd using 'qdp-cli stop' then replace all old qdp* files with new one(Please backup your old files), Then type 'qdpd -daemon'. Done.

*PLEASE REMEMBER BACKUP your wallet file before you do anything.

Damn. I start mining from day 1 and had enough coin to make a masternode. I made one and was happy with the team and discord channel, too many activities were there. I had chance to sell at 0.12 BTC but I waited. There were 2 reasons. I thought QDP devs are professional and number 2, my greed. Masternode coins are made to get rich quick for certain people. Very much expensive lesson were taught to me by QDP.

@qudexpay there are several mining pools that haven't upgraded their wallet and have forked the blockchain.

All user whose v1.2.1 wallet can't sync, do this:

1) Stop your wallet
2) Delete everything in your QDP datadir except wallet.dat / qdp.conf /masternode.conf
3) Add the nodes below to your qdp.conf
4) Start wallet to sync again.

I have found at least 3-? chains so who knows. I had the explorer synced with the pools so there was another fork on top of the forks that forked the forks.

Those transactions seemed to occur during the forking madness. So it will depend on a little bit of luck for you to recover any coins depending on which fork we officially get back on.

Hi people i've found a very nice open source block explorer courtesy of bulwark (https://github.com/dustinengle/blockex (https://github.com/dustinengle/blockex)).

I've managed to setup one for QDP here http://104.225.217.12:17370 (http://104.225.217.12:17370)

However I lack the technical skills to modify the code and make most of the stats work.

What works: block height, address lookup, transaction index lookup, peers list.

What doesn't work: everything else that you see.

If there is anyone with the ability to make it fully work for QDP, I'll be willing to host one.
