Personally, I believe that XLM is bringing a better technology to the market and by general I support this more than XLM. But if I would have to invest one of them it would be definitely XRP due to the big partnerships and their technology which is what needed for mass adoption and already on its way to being adopted especially by banks who are the biggest factors of the economic system. I won't be surprised if XRP will be the strongest daily currency on the market because it has what it's needed for this title. XRP is divided into two different technologies which each one of them can be adopted and some banks already showed interest in at least one of the two available technologies and they did show some signs of getting into to the real word on a daily basis more than any other currency. XRP is closest to be what the world wants although XLM is better in my opinion. I think both cryptocoins are very promising potential for investments however I would have to choose XLM which is better than Ripple (XRP). Why only two of these coins? Why not trying to find some new altcoins with low capitalization which promise to be big things. Yes, Ripple has one big plus! XRP already uses large players like American Express, UniCredit, Royal Bank of Scotland, Standarv Chartered, UBS, Santander and Credit Argicole for international transactions and about 100 more banks. Almost any project from the top 100 will be more reliable than ripple. Ripple is not a cryptocurrent. It is a centralized soap bubble, which exists solely through speculators.
