The market tends to go down, so I have invested 100% of the funds into ETC, do you ETC will comeback strongly? Please give me your opinion, thanks

I think together with the growth of bitcoin and the ETC should grow.
But in fact the coin is useless.

I think the price of ETC will rise this year. While the maximum ETC is $45 , which the coin tried to overcome three times.

The prices of altcoins for now greatly depend on the price of bitcoin so as long as bitcoin goes  up the price of the other coins will go up, there is no evidence to say that bitcoin will not go up again so yes it will moon again.

ETC is fake ethereum i suggest to not bet a lot on that fake token. As you can see even callisto doesn't bring a lot of impact to the ethereum classic. ethereum is the only one and you have made very wrong decision to invest your money in the ethereum classic. it looks like a very stable coin.

This is the tough year for cryptocurrency, for now it's not going to be that quick and it will take a while to consolidate, before we go up. I wouldn't buy at current levels, the level I am looking for, is 470$. If you invest now, you will be stuck in the middle, where you will regret that you have invested. I think in the long run we might even go for 310$, I don't want to disappoint you, everyone has his own view and analysis, but trust me it's going to be a tough year or even more for cryptoworld. But patience all that matters, invest and look in to the future and you will be fine! If you have spare money, then invest and forget about them )

My opinion is that Ethereum classic will not grow anymore because it is not used by the community.We need a great demand for the price to rise.

While Ethereum Classic has never been as popular as Ethereum it is still a good coin with great potential, I personally think it is undervalued compared to some of the major coins but while I expect a growth of the coin I find it unlikely we are going to see a huge boom, first of all the whole market is not in the best shape and it is struggling to maintain the current market cap and second ETC already has a big market cap so it is not as easy for it to grow than to other smaller coins.

We will definitely see how it will be. But even the fork did not bring good growth to this coin. I understand that after the fork, the price always goes down, but there was no growth either.

ETC will not grow because all coins continue to get cheaper. This is a good coin, therefore as soon as the market begins recovery, Ethereum Classic will start to grow after the market. At the moment, you do not need to panic, you just have to wait.  ;)

Am struggling to give the coin any form of acceptability.It has only gone this far because of ethereum and I wish more will be done to improve the coin servicing purpose in cryptocurrency. Its a only a store of value to me without relative volume of exchange. I am actually indifferent on its booming

As of now most o the coins reducing the prices not only ETC and more altcoins price depend on BTC and ETH so if up the price both coins then ETC have chances rising the price, wait and see market will up soon

I do not have confidence in this coin. The developers are very sluggish. It seems to me that this coin does not multiply your capital several times. I did not buy ETC.

Don't believe so in the meantime as price was inflated due Callisto fork announcement.  However, if ETC becomes a forking platform, therein may lie some opportunity.

It is quite possible from happening and absolutely all coins have chances to go higher from what they have started. We know ETC gaining potentials, and we never throw our trust away from these coins cause not only ETC is on dump but the entire crypto market.

Regardless if it will come back strong or not, now is the time to buy ETC because its growth process is similar to ETH, but the market is in a downward trend and it is almost impossible to define its future, what we can believe is in its project and in what it has to offer.

Not sure if it will rise substantially this year unless for some reason something happens to ETH and ETC becomes the place to go to for anything ICO related, other than that I don't think there are many other reasons for it to climb to any extreme level.

Etc is also a very strong coin and has huge potential too. Currently overall market is very down that also affects Etc price value so there is no need to worry. In my opinion when bitcoin will recover Etc will also boom again. You can also diversify  your 50-50% investment in both Etc and Btc.

Here we are discussing about the movement of ETC (ethereum classic) in the future and not about ETH (ethereum). I hope you know that both are different coins and hold different value. Ethereum (ETH) is a fork of Ethereum Classic (ETC). people have traded ETH to buy new coins and not ethereum classic. ETH is surely a great coin and platform with security, but the same cannot be said with ETC.

I would say ETC is a good coin, but surely not great one. There are far better coins in market than ETC. ETC is alive just because of its believers that don’t want to abandon the coin and believe it to be the first blockchain of its kind. ETC surely is a bit undervalued currently, but I don’t think it will rise much high as there are far better projects with advanced technology and better security than ETC.

People nowadays have moved to more sold coins such as NEO, ETH, ADA and WAVES that use smart contracts and are much advanced in technology.

In short term it can grow up 30 USD may be around next 3 months but after than there is possiblity to have 100% or more gain before the end of Q3 2018

I certainly will, ethereum have done it before, many times as well. And this is the period where crypto are doing really bad, ethereum had worse than these but still did a comeback. I can say that it will, but there is no guarantee about everything here, so you might as well take a risk.

First of all I strongly believe it is not a wise option to put your 100% investment in a single coin. It would be better if you divided it for the safety of your investment. Since you are already in the situation I am hoping that you will cope up to your losses but I think ETC will fall in the following months. The previous pump was due to the hard fork.

Investing in a different type of coin is a risky thing to do, but how much more if you invested all of your money in a single coin only. It will be more risky.
Like in your case, in my own opinion i cannot see any boom in ETC. But everything can happen, so lets just wait and see. Just hope and pray.

ETC may need to have Ethereum pumping so that the price increase on ETC will look natural on a chart. ETC is not used inside of stores that I know of so it'll be a while for the price to have hundreds of dollars per coin.

Not all coins rise when bitcoin rises. Some even remain stable and show no sign of growth. Its not always bitcoin that makes crypto currencies rise and fall, sometimes it about the news, the technology and the utility that decides whether a coin rise or falls. And many exchanges now are introducing fiat currency trading pair, this will surely help altcoins free from the control of bitcoin. Soon altcoins will decide their own movement rather than movement of bitcoin. ETC will rise only if it proves worthy in future and proves of some utility else it will dump hard for sure.

True. It might grow with bitcoin as the market rises, but not as much as other potential coins. ETC surely is useless as it has no decent technology like many other altcoins in the market and nor does it have any utility or application in the real world.

It is said that Most of the altcoins will die till the end of this year and according to me ETC will be the one among them because now people don’t follow hype anymore, they follow technology. I'm inclined to believe that the price of ETC will rise this year. For this there are the following prerequisites:
1. The classical version of Ethereum was supported both by the largest stock exchanges and by miners around the world;

ETC for the coming year is no longer recommended for Investment or for Trade. it is better to invest in Ripple (XRP) or Theter (NXT) which is growing as other crypto currencies decrease.

Price Ethereum Classic will grow only in the case when Ethereum will switch to PoS mining and those who mining ETH will switch its power to mining ETH. Or if someone wants to make another ETC fork, then his price will rise. You know that the value of a coin gives interest to it from investors, and if the coin does not have development and prospects, then the price will not grow too much.

Not only ETC but most of the coins are not going up for past few weeks now. Market tends to be very unstable as Bitcoin is currently going up and down due to  various reasons which have killed the growth of altcoin for now. Once the Bitcoin gets stable altcoin will definitely charge up once again, and we could see ETC booming once again. If you have invested in the dip which occurred in the last couple of weeks you will definitely make a good return in the coming days.

First, I will suggest you not to invest 100% the funds or money in only one coin. It is better to separate it and choose some coins.
Related to the ETH, it may increase in the future, hopefully, this cryptocurrency will be better soon and increasing. However, it seems to be difficult to rise for the ETH in some week later. Just follow and research the market for this coin to get updated information about his coin. Be sure that ETH will come up and get better values.

I think ETC is the good one. They will rise again in end of year. For now, more of crypto currency has fall down include Bitcoin, ETH and other big coin. There is so many issue that attack crypto currency world. But i believe when this subside, crypto currency has shine again.

I think you are better off investing in ETH instead as it has continuous good news lined up for it this whole year and the next. With POS, sharding and plasma coming there is nothing thats going to stop the ETH train from going to the moon again.

I'm pretty sure ETC will boom again. So long as there are going to be people mining it and teams are developing then the progress of the project isn't going to stop. NEW developers will come and use the platform, it may take some time but sure it will grow. Bitshares price idle for quite awhile but then it all of a sudden grow so this will continue to until such time people just invest all for storing their wealth.

There are chances that Bitcoin minght boom again like it does in last December. As we all know now bitcoin id facing a down trend but recently we witnessed the change in price upto 1000 usd in one day. Well everyone is entitled to their own opinion but I find it very unlikely that bitcoin is going to go up again like it did in December, the reason for that is very simple there is simply not enough money to create such a huge pump in the market what we need to figure out is how to make money even when there is not such a pump, and since I am a holder and not a trader that signifies that I have no means to improve my chances of making money in this difficult market.

The survival of an altcoins doesn't mean short term, because most often times it would take a year or even years. That's what we call long terms due to crashing happens eventually and that's the behaviour of cryptocurrency. There are no fiat exchanger that accept etc that is why etc price depends on btc price. everyone is waiting  bitcoin price to be 20 K or more. I do not believe in ETC. I do not see the sense in it if there is ETH. So that I do not really believe in the growth of this coin.

I can't understand why you would invest all your money into ETC. While on the other hand you have coins like ETH who have so much development going on for them. all can happen, purchasing power is decreasing due to many negative issues. but that does not mean cryptocurrency will be destroyed or END. there is still a chance to rise as well as ETC so it just takes a little patience.

I decided for myself never to go with 100% of my investment capital into one of the coins how great and attractive it would not be because if I will lose 100% of my Investment Portfolio, it is not good.
