Product's background
According to a prediction published by Gartner, artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning will be involved in 95% of software and services by the year 2020. Despite the widespread popularization of AI technology, there are a number of infrastructural issues for a better and more rapid development of AI and a deeper integration into everyday life. For example, the high cost associated with the development of AI models and the lack of IT infrastructure.

Pallium is focused on solving these issues using properties of blockchain technology and its distributed registry data. Pallium’s capabilities are based on the agent-oriented approach of examining the capabilities of machine learning and artificial intelligence.

Intelligent agents
Pallium’s functional unit is an intellectual agent. In abstract, agents are isolated entities with a decision-making system and the ability to interact with each other and the outside world within instructions. They also have their own “account” in the form of SPIKE tokens (the platform’s internal crypto currency)


The concept of agents expands the practice of standard accounts in the blockchain and allows agents to act autonomously without human intervention, in accordance with the smart contract (the agent’s decision-making system). Within the platform, the user is also an agent in relation to other agents. In a philosophical sense -in our ecosystem-, the machine is equated with a person, although, from a practical point of view, this is a bold statement.

Transactions               
Transactions are means of communication between agents. Transactions are used to transfer “values” (SPIKE tokens) from one agent to another, as well as recalling functions of a contract.

               
All transactions are collected into the block and are sent to miners. The transaction execution changes the agent’s state, and in turn, the global state.

PLMT tokens release strategy            
The token release will take place on the Ethereum platform via a smart contract (standard ERC20 open source). Since our company aims to protect the interests of our investors, the token sale will be conducted in several stages.




The currency of Pallium’s ecosystem is called SPIKE, and will be released on the Myelin blockchain. Upon completion of the token sale, owners of PLMT tokens will be able to convert them to SPIKE tokens on a 1:1 ratio for the use of the ecosystem’s services. The exchange will be available through smart contracts at any point in time, and upon exchanging PLMT tokens to SPIKE tokens, PLMT tokens will be burnt.

               
During the ICO stage, buyers are offered 25% of the total number of SPIKE tokens, while miners will generate the remaining 75% in the prescribed manner. The release of SPIKE tokens is limited to 1,000,000,000 tokens.

Yes each stage has its own soft and hard caps. However the total soft cap is 30,000 ETH while the total hard cap is 45,000 ETH. The soft and hard caps change accordingly with the token release volume, as the later stages of the ICO will release more tokens.

Members of our team are performing studies in AI, and are conducting a study with experts such as Alexey Redozubov.

We attended the Blockchain conference 2018 in Minsk here we won first place, the Global Blockchain Summit 2018 in Sochi where we were granted a paid road show to China, and we're about to take part in the Blockchain Conference in Kazan where we'll be in the finals for a 100,000 USD grant very soon! In addition, our CTO wrote a research regarding AI that was performed by our head of marketing Anton Flotskiy in Sochi's Global Blockchain Summit. That is one of our goals, since developing and purchasing these AI models and systems is a very expensive and tedious process, which we’re trying to make easier and cheaper. After all, developing the industry is our main goal!

Currently, yes. The token sale is being conducted on the ERC20 platform. However, in later stages these coins can be converted to Spike tokens, which will be used as a currency in order to use the platforms services. In addition, they will be the tokens listed on exchanges. Mining is necessary in order to provide storage for AI models as well as computing power in order to train them. Due to our consensus algorithm, miners will be paid through storage of the blockchain and by providing their GPUs for model training.

There are quite a few projects that revolve around AI. However our project has a lot of unique properties that others do not have, as we’re designing an all-in-one.
