Title: How do you use your Bitcoin?
Post by: Sophia Portera on March 19, 2018, 09:40:11 AM
Have you spend your Bitcoin allready? Like buying pizza ;) or maybe you have booked your hotel with. Let's share your experiences.

As for me, I still have my Bitcoin in my wallet and don't know when I acually will use them in daily life.

In the near future I do not plan to make payments to Bitcoin. I consider bitcoin primarily a means of preserving funds. As a means of payment, bitcoin is uncomfortable, and I think it will not have much use as a means of payment.

I plan to sell all my bitcoin later after the price goes back up, and after that I will not invest with bitcoin anymore.
I prefer ICO, because I think. after rising bitcoin will drop again and will never rise again.

I would like to use it, because I think that by showing it has usability it will promote it's value. The problem is that we still don't have to many merchants accepting bitcoin right now, so it's hard to use it. Even when we find a place that accepts bitcoin, and we decide to finally buy thing with it, there is always the problem of regretting that purchase in the future because the value increased. I want to use, but maybe it's to soon right now.

Bitcoin price is still fluctuating so I don't do that because it is continuous volatile in crypto market. So most of the shopping sites are confused to fix price in the market. I am always use my fiat currency it is more convenient to Bitcoin so all are using fiat currency and many countries not accepting the cryptocurrency so fiat currency is user friendly in current situation but future everything should be crypto.

I use my Bitcoin to cash into my peso wallet, it is useful everyday. Since here in Philippines not yet widely familiar, sooner crypto currency will be applicable in all methods of payment then that's the time for me to keep until the exchange goes high.

I normally use Bitcoin to pay my monthly bills such as water, electricity and insurance thru online that has no charge and hassle free. Many merchants accept Bitocoin as mode of payment sand that's so easy buy just transferring money from wallet to wallet. Also, I am using Bitcoin to trade in a crypto currency so that I can earn extra income aside from my fixed salary. I am so thankful that Bitcoin is really a game changer wherein you can earn a lot if the price goes well.

Currently i use bitcoin as a tool to bench marking my portfolio for the gains and loses, as bitcoin itself is very volatile  and all other crypto is pegged in btc, it is easy to tracked the real genuine gains or losses for the trade in crypto.

The fact is, if you don't really need to use it the best way to make the most out of it is to hold it and wait for a pump in the market. Other ways to actually use your btc is to invest it. you could make it grow by understanding themarket and buying token which to see potential in. Right now, BTC is a very versatile currency.

Spending bitcoin depends on which country we are in. If the country allows bitcoin to be used as a means of payment, accordingly so many people use bitcoin as a means of payment, in contrast to countries that prohibit bitcoin used as a means of payment, it is certain they only use bitcoin as a trading or investment. This is happened to me, where I life in a country who forbade bitcoin as a means of payment. So, I only use bitcoin as a trading and place of investment.

Yes I have spend BTC to date, well a portion of it even though
I HOLD most of my BTC for the long term.

I used part of my BTC holdings to fund a different project which
is not related to currencies or investments, just a personal project
as a reward for my BTC adventures.

If in my country, bitcoin is still prohibited as a transaction tool. So bitcoin is just an investment tool, but sometimes my group and I often do transactions with bitcoin. Only group groups.

I believe that at the moment, bitcoin is more suitable for preserving value, and for long-term investments, rather than for a means of payment. Demand and the price for it have somewhat decreased, and are not stable, but it still remains the leader in the market of crypto-currency.

I guess we are using the same exchange or Bitcoin wallet then. I am using the services of coins.ph and I am also doing these things too but the things is that they are not really accepting bitcoin directly. Coins.ph accept your bitcoin payment and then transfer your payment not as a bitcoin but as a fiat. The same as Steam since they are not really accepting bitcoin now due to it's volatility and fees.

Right now in this fallen price of bitcoin, it's better not to used it because there's a big opportunity which can be achieved if we continue to hold it. We all know that the price of bitcoin can be reached the highest value than other crypto.

There are many use cases for Bitcoin. I usually use it to pay some of my small bills and expenses. I prefer spending my Bitcoin in websites and services which accept Bitcoin directly and hold it. I understand that some of them can't allow themselves to hold BTC and they have to cash out. Many people are holding Bitcoin but they forgot that spending BTC is also important because it helps Bitcoin popularity to grow.

I am somewhat in the center. I usually use my btc to pay sometimes as I don't really have any other source of income. However, that being said I am also into some keen trading and hodling of btc too. I think trading is much better than hodling because you are atleast able to take advantage of momentary falls in prices. Moreover if you believe in technology the price will fall.

If you invest, you should buy low price and sell high price.

In my country, bitcoin is not yet accepted as a common means of payment. So yes it's really not possible to transact directly in bitcoin. It's kinda difficult for sometimes getting btc converted into our own currency , because of the transaction rates, they're high!!

but yes like for now the bitcoin price isn't high so that I can convert it into my own currency, because it'd be kinda loss situation for me. But when i'm in dire need of funds, I cuse BTC for meeting my daily expenditure. Otherwise, it s much a source of investment n trading for me.

Currently very few countries and services accept payment by bitcoin. We should only see bitcoin as a business purpose. You have an ATM card and you can pay in any service. Or you can transfer from bitcoin to cash to pay. There are many ways to pay and we should not complicate that.

Bitcoin has many advantages and can be used in so many ways in order for you to make transactions easier and faster like for example paying your bills. Now, you can use bitcoin on transactions like that. In my case, i use bitcoin to help me on my financial needs since i am still a student and really needs an income for me to pay tuition. I already had spend my bitcoins and the first thing I bought is a much better computer(PC). I do save them first until when the time comes where my savings in bitcoins can buy the things that I want to buy but it will be with the help of my income on my work which is partly. Considering spending it on a daily basis is not an option for me since it is still easier to buy those things using physical money rather than bitcoins which is needed to be confirmed before the transaction would be completed.

Well, i spend my bitcoin on my billings like paying electricity, water and buy some basics needs. Because in my country bitcoin is already regulated. But i don't want to spend it all, the other bitcoin i will keep it for savings so that in the future i earn profit and my money will safe. Because i believe someday that its price is more increasing. If you a lot of savings you can earn good amount of profit also.
