Who owns the most Bitcoins?

Is it the Owners of Gambling Sites or the public.

Its the 10% percent of peoples who have 90% of fiat moneys

Probably Satoshi, it is thought he has around 1 million, but he's unlikely to ever claim them. Other than that there is no way of knowing who owns the most. You can look at the rich list sites like https://bitinfocharts.com/top-100-richest-bitcoin-addresses.html

But they only tell you the addresses with the highest balances. Anyone hoarding a large amount is like to spread them over many addresses so we'll never find them.

Yup! I agreed Satoshi really claim the most number of bitcoin we can probably not know any whereabouts of his wallet could be, And probably next to satoshi was the whales that has their own number of bitcoin on their wallets probably 1000 people who own's 40 percent of the market, So when we see a dip or an increase probably a whale is moving because A few massive investors can rock it with a shrug.

These are known to us, who knows if someone holding anonymously in multiple wallets

billionaires will be the top holders or owners of bitcoin now a day. next are the ceo of some big exchangers of cryptocurrency that famous now adays. next will be mr satoshi nakamoto we dont know how many tokens now he has but when bitcoin was created he has 1m bitcoins.

In my opinion,it's difficult to know without a doubt as bitcoins can be spread over various distinctive wallets, be that as it may, contenders for owning of the most bitcoins is Satoshi Nakamoto (the creator of bitcoin).He mined a considerable lot of the early pieces, accumulating an expected 1 million unspent bitcoins.

Is undoubtedly Satoshi, he has 1 million bitcoin, these bitcoin have been for many years without moving, however, no one knows who is Satoshi, because Satoshi created bitcoin and blockchain, it is a treasure for the world.

I read Satoshi Nakamoto owns the most number of Bitcoin because he is the first miner and he mines the Genesis blocks or the first blocks of Bitcoin, I believe he has hidden Bitcoin in his other wallet because he is the creator of this technology.

The creator of the bitcoin, Satoshi Nakamoto is believed to the biggest holder of bitcoin estimated around 1 Million  bitcoin but it didn't clear that Nakamoto is a single person or a group of team and there's a rumor that Nakamoto's bitcoin was hacked long ago but this was not confirmed yet if it is true.

I agree, Satoshi Nakamoto owns the most of bitcoin. And I think many of us know this, and the second who owns bitcoin is the millionaire and I am sure of that.

there is no possible way of knowing that unless you can get EVERYONE to start reporting how much bitcoin they own and that simply isn't possible. people say Satoshi has the most but the fact is, that's just a guess because we don't know who has been mining bitcoin back then. maybe it was a 50 person team of developers calling themselves Satoshi who were also mining bitcoin so they each have 1/50 of the reward and also there were others mining who have some of the rewards....

I can say satoshi nakamoto himself own the most bitcoin. He never showed up to the public but for sure being it's creator and being anonymous to the public has a meaning to it. He's not like the creator of litecoin that solds his coins i believe.

No one owns the Bitcoin network, just like no one owns the technology behind the e-mail. Bitcoin is controlled by the bitco-users of the whole world. Although developers improve the software, they can not forcefully change the protocol, because users are free to choose which software and what version to use. In order to be compatible, all users must use software that obeys the same rules. Bitcoin can work correctly only with full agreement between all users. Therefore, all users and developers, if the incentive to protect this consensus.

Everyone thinks that Satoshi has the world's largest bit of bitcoin. I don't think so, because Satoshi may not be a real person, not necessarily true. I think the most bitcoin should be a group of miners. Those who began digging bitcoins many years ago should have their own big mines. These people may have only a few dozen people, but have mastered most of the bitcoins.

To find out exactly who the owner of the most bitcoin is hidden and hard to know, but I think bitcoin is still widely owned by the public.

Bitcoin is decentralize and free of anyone's ownership and control, After its creation, BTC mostly operates independently, there are however high stake holders with lump sum of BTC coins who are able to influence its value through certain activities

The majority of bitcoin would be hold by Satoshi. Now he will live his life as a King.But we don't know who is Satoshi. Next to them the billionaire in the society who know about bitcoin. Without the knowledge in bitcoin, they won't inverse their valuable money.Then the people who know about bitcoin at the earlier stages.

As for individual who had bitcoin/s wont be proud to tell that they had some in their wallet, they can become targets for people with negative mind.

We don't know the name of the persons except Satoshi who has at least 1 million coins, maybe he has more but for sure we know he has 1 million bitcoins. If you make a quick google search you will see many results including some to our forum with the addresses that has the most bitcoin into them. However it is impossible to know the real identity of these persons.

We can not know the exact individual because many are there who did not even want to share anything related to their income source,i.e,number of BITCOIN ,number of altcoins,etc. And as said by you, everyone knows about SATOSHI.

The US Government is the largest owner of bitcoins in the entire world and they didn't buy a single satoshi of the bitcoins that they have at their disposal, they seized it from most criminals and their organizations when they raided them.

I only know 100 bitcoin addresses that have fantastic amounts of bitcoins, but I never know who owns them, they already have great wealth

Gambling site indeed have a good amount of bitcoins, but i don't think they are the own the most bitcoins.
What get my interest is the creator of bitcoin itself. Imagine you create bitcoin, you would save much bitcoins for your own too right ?

I believe the biggest known owner of Bitcoins is the Winklevoss Twins. Don't know of anybody else who has above 100k Bitcoins other than Satoshi, and well we will likely never know the identity of that person or group of people.

Bitcoin is pseudo anonymous, so this is not going to be a straight forward process to determine who is the wealthiest Bitcoin

Firstly the creator of bitcoin SATOSHI NAKAMOTO has the largest amount of bitcoin at his/her/their disposal. There are some other whales namely The Winklevoss Twins, Barry Silbert (cryptocurrency maven), Tim Draper (billionaire venture capitalist), Charlie Shrem (Bitcoin early adopter), Tony Gallippi (cryptocurrency executive) and many more. All of these invested in bitcoin in its early stage or bought it in some auction. It is estimated that the total 40% of bitcoin is under just 1000 people who had invested in it.

There are quite a few number of people who own a lot btc like in Thousands or even more.Lately i saw a thread in which the transaction hash of 4000 btc was there.I was awesome struck when I saw it.Like 4000 btc for real!!!!!.The most funny part was that he made the 4000 btc transaction on only a few sat/byte of like 1.6 $ lol.That shows that he is least bothered about his 4000 btc,most probably because he has much more btc.
There are many famous Bitcoin whales out there which you can google to find out.I am aware of only Winklevoss twins as they are very famous.

Gambling and public has a big holdings of bitcoin but not enough if you compare for the holdings of those exchanges with a near million volumes of bitcoin. I don't like any gambling site cause it is high risky. I earn some btc with trading exchange and signature camping. I think trade is best for btc earning.

being funny here. I know it wasn't premined. But you got to admit, Satoshi has a LOT. I am surprised Satoshi never did any burn methods to show us he burned coins.

Premined is when block #1 was generated with X amount of coins more than block #2 and etc.. it had a larger amount delivered to the first miner (traditionally) the developer.

Sure, but a lot of people will read that and it will just reinforce the myth. How many times have you read that Satoshi owns 1 million+ coins? That's based on him being the only one mining for a long time. In the middle of that thread I linked to you'll find this old quote.


He certainly mined a lot but we're all guessing how many. As to proof of burn, I don't think that really fits in with the ethos. The mystery surrounding it all adds to the whole Bitcoin story.

I believe that the CREATOR always has the most number of Bitcoins because if I am the creator, I know everything about Bitcoin and the technology behind it. That is the real advantage. If Satoshi is a real person or group of persons, I think he or they own the most number of Bitcoins.

The one who likes mining, processes transactions and is responsible for the security of the network itself, using special equipment.
