If someone else wants to buy your province, they can take it away from you by paying up to double the price that you paid. The idea would definitely appeal to those who like nation conquering, except that there has to be more of a gaming element, rather than just collectible value - or the richest players just ruin the game very quickly.
Gives me an idea for a similar on-chain game, but it'd need to keep all the political and economical aspects (how about warfare too yeah?) of ROTK. I thought I'd seen them all. Reminds me somewhat of that old Romance of the Three Kingdoms boardgame. The idea would definitely appeal to those who like nation conquering, except that there has to be more of a gaming element, rather than just collectible value - or the richest players just ruin the game very quickly. They have a fairly similar concept and they choose to offer New York City as their kingdom to conquer.The underlying concept is almost the same with a different country and their culture.
