I am new in cryptocurrency world.so i have no idea about bitcoin price prediction.I want to know about price prediction....

There are many factors which are influencing the price of Bitcoin.

For short distances people use graph/chart of bitcoin price to predict future price.

But for more long time periods people analyze many factors such as volume of trading, changes of mining volume, demand of cryptocurrency in the world, world economic events and so on.

In conclusion I will add that no one can say exact trend of bitcoin price for long periods, because for this you need to know everything  what happen in the future...

Our group is basing on the charts and we try to predict the possible movement or trend of bitcoins value using data from the charts. It is hard to tell since almost all of us would are not sure whether bitcoin will go over the highest price this year. But even though we are not sure we have a similar prediction that bitcoin can recover by the end of the year.

 it remains to be seen how far BTC will get this year, it hasn't been a good start for all cryptos, BTC included with the Red Zone dominating, but we might just end the year on a high note, so all we have to do is to be patient

well...in this case we have to be positive always so that if the price of bitcoin is getting higher than before then that's the time you can sell your bitcoins.it is very hard to predict what would be the price because the price of bitcoin is just like a roller coaster.

I am a positive thinker but my prediction in bitcoin for 2018 will not reach its highest peak unlike the scenery in 2017. I think bitcoin will be able to achieve its highest price when lightning networks come and it will launch probably in 2019. Hopefully, this 2018 will not be miserable for bitcoin.

Every year bitcoin always has value or price increase, and I believe that in 2018 now bitcoin can pass or exceed the peak price again.

I am very optimistic that bitcoin prices will be stable, and the end of the year bitcoin prices increase because every minute the bitcoin price is always up and down so do not close the possibility if the end of 2018 bitcoin price will stabile....

I believe it hits 15k dolars, but that's all.

You don't know that. I've been seeing lots of predictions that haven't come true. On both the low and high side.

The first months of 2018 are the days of the red crypto market. I also like you are waiting for bitcoin up again. Please refer to various sources on the Internet. It is very difficult to predict bitcoin prices, but at least we can learn, and we can follow news about bitcoin, and now bitcoin is declining as seasonal and I believe bitcoin will get its peak rise again.

Anything is possible, but I don't see things changing much over the rest of spring and into summer. Maybe this fall we will start to see a rise again, but for the next 6 months I see us trying to find a solid bottom to settle into before starting to take off again.

Too many people seem to forget, especially newcomers who recently bought at or near the all time high, that just 12-14 months ago, Bitcoin was struggling to break $1,000 again after 3 years, so I think as long as we stay above that point we will be doing great. Myself I can see Bitcoin sinking to or near the $2k mark over the next few months before taking off again.

The rise to $20k we just seen was too premature and it will take some time for the market to naturally grow and adjust to get back on track to reach that point again, but it will take some time to recover.

I think it could happen because bitcoin prices exchange rate continues to rise even though bitcoin numbers decreased but did not reduce the number or value last year, it's my opinion that bitcoin prices can go up in my opinion would be. there are many factors that make bitcoin rise probably from the level of public confidence in using bitcoin as a digital transaction because it provides a positive trend for bitcoin and can lift the popularity of bitcoin, that's all in my opinion. thank you

I think it is likely that the rise in bitcoin prices could exceed its highs by the end of the year. I predict bitcoin will reach $ 20k price by the end of this year, hopefully it's true then everyone can feel the big advantage after so long storing bitcoin they have.

I don't think the market will recover soon. At least half a year.

everyone is waiting for lightning network, and when it applies and the short of limitation is partially solved, it might have a chance to reach the highest price.

If my prediction for the price issue this year I am still very optimistic for better prices and high exceeds the peak price of last year.

The highest price of bitcoin is 20k, and it reached that price last year. Although, the start of this year is not good, but that doesn't mean that it wouldn't be able to cross its highest price this year. The demand of bitcoin is increasing with each passing days, so it is definitely possible.

everyone is expecting a big rise at the end of the year like 2017 but i think otherwise i mean you have to got a good reason to predict something like that maybe the people behind the scenes know something that we don't know

It's easy to predict prices anyone can do it but that's no assurance. If you notice the experts have their own predictions, it's impossible to say when the bitcoin value is high and low. So it is better to do your own research.

We would need a net influx of new crypto enthusiasts (or at least buyers users).  The whales pushed when we were sagging around 12K but the market just isnt there right now.  IMO it doesn't help us long term if we hit high numbers on a bubble like that again until we start having more bridges to normal/everyday uses for the  avg user.  Ive been in crypto over a year now and the other day I got hung up when I couldn't get BTC out of my electrum wallet for some reason.  It was frustrating as hell, there's no direct help for it, and Im an experienced user.   Like John Oliver said about Bitcoin-  it's “everything you don't understand about money combined with everything you don't understand about computers,”

May be or maybe not. It is really tough to predict the actual one. But you can make some research and study to find the way forwards and future of bitcoin. Since its value is in downward position from the beginning of the year, it will kiss a good point by the end of this year.

It will happen this year only if Bitcoin can restore the functionality of being fast and efficient in sending transaction in their network. Lightning Network is the key to this much awaited another all time high in terms of price of Bitcoin because I can't see any angle for a massive increase after the December's unforgettable madness. No one can predict what will happen next but everything happens for a reason and that's the only reason that I think for an another milestone.

Off cause it is  possible for bitcoin to get the highest at this year but I believed that will be  toward  the end of that year just a prediction anyway

To be honest that would be a very hard thing to do, even after the skyrocket value in the holidays, I don see bitcoin actually surpassing this all-time-high, only recovering from its losses. Maybe at the very least bitcoin could recover to 20,000$. We actually need more people to invest in bitcoin right now than the ones we get on the average monthly or even daily to ge abke to reach this dream.

predictions, predictions, and predictions. all users, traders, investors and experts even I think no one knows for this year's predictions. to be honest, I'm in trouble to predict 2018. many predictions have been given but almost 80% missed all. look at the situation now, the price that they prediction will be high so the upside down down. in my opinion now is not the time to predict, but examine the extent to which bitcoin prices will go down, if it has touched the lowest point, that's where we have to buy as much as possible so that the money we plant can be doubled in the future. that's my thinking for now.

No market is accurately predictable and the cryptocurrency market is extremely complex I must say. We can look at price actions to know if there may be a form of a reversal, we can know or guess how possible a reversal may be with the use of TA or indicators, but we cannot predict fully the possibility of what may happen in the next few seconds, minutes, hours and so on.

Fundamentals can change, we can get to see a quick reversal, and that makes the market to always be ahead of anyone, leaving us all, even as traders to just play along; but predicting the future? No way!

It is hard now to predict the rise of the bitcoin price because as you can see, it always comes across an obstacle. Twitter is banning it, thus the price has fallen. And I hope it does not continue to fall. I hope they stop with their bullshits and influence the public badly. My answer is a definite no to this. I doubt that the major recovery that will take bitcoin to greater heights will happen this soon, it's not going to be in this year and in fact, probably not for another two to three years at least when the bull cycle comes around again.

There is a lot of optimists left, saying that price will rebound this year and go to crazy heights like $50k or something. These predictions are quite futile in my opinion. I have never seen any asset, bitcoin included with its recent history, go from hyper bullish - hyper bearish back to hyper bullish in just a few months. The all time high should be a target for years to come imo.

But who knows, anomalies do happen from time to time, so I can't say for sure. But still, the answer is no.

this has become a hot potato for now. after facebook pushing prices down, now turn twitter pushing bitcoin prices down. all holders are now Be in hot water, as we will be more difficult to see the bullish market. Yes I see bitcoin hitting a new all time high this year. With the amount of new people finding out about crypto I don't see us going in a 1 year bear market.

This mayhem will not end. Very rich people paid attention to the promising market of cryptocurrencies. They have used all their forces, money and acquaintances to capture the market. It seems to me that we need to prepare for a long confrontation with them. Now the winner is the one whose nerves are stronger.

I don't have idea too for predict price bitcoin in the future, I just use fundamental analys to predict bitcoin price. And we don't know what happen in next day what the information will come to cryptocurrency. So, I will know the fall and up price bitcoin if some news come, if good news we will predict the price bitcoin will increase but if come bad news like at this time we will predict the price bitcoin will continue to fall in the next day.

I like your optimism, Though this year is somehow different. Bitcoin become more volatile, It's good that a lot of people are now beginning to notice the industry but most them don't really study what this industry is. They're just here because of the trend no more no less.

Bitcoin is currently facing it's price drop. But, we are hoping that at the end of this year it'll have its full recovery. Moreover, the price fluctuation of bitcoin is unpredictable. So. It's hard to say whether it'll exceed its highest price. So, fingers Crossed. Hoping for the best to happen!

The commnnity in general and i beleive that bitcoin would possibly recover by the mid year and reach almost $15000-$25000 by end but we cant say that it will be peak price or not as it is too volatile to make judgements. By analyzing the price graphs you could notice the price changes and make speculations but still you can't make such predictions.

bitcoin is very unpredictable mate and no one can predict about its volatility.  So if i were you learn some technical analysis and dont rely on others predictions ,'cause to be honest the market is very volatile so you must build your own strategy on it for the sake of your money when it comes to investment .

With the presence of parasites that accompany bitcoin price movements, it also makes the market more unpredictable 'when? ... bitcoin will begin to grow'. But I had a strong belief that by the end of the day bitcoin will continue to grow at an unexpected increase in prices.

no one can answer that question, what we simply do is just speculate, you can observe the market, read the news, see the adoption that bitcoin has and its technology that you will have your answer.

Everyone predicts and everyone speculates it is going to rise again simply because they are hoping it will for their own benefit as they are holding or they depend on cryptocurrency. Together with this bitcoin price drop the value of other cryptocurrencies are also very low but who can tell when it is gong to rise again, no one.

bitcoin price always exceed every year or touch down new ATH  which during November until December  , but we can't predict what new price it will go due to its price that always fluctuate and because also of some scenario that always happened . But surely it will make a new price like what happened before which is the price rocketed.

No one can exactly predict the bitcoin price could exceeds this year. Yes the fluctuation truly is unpredictable in the present time we can only watch and observe the market. It is very difficult to predict the price could be this year if this could exceeds the ATh price last year. Yes these three months market shows that bitcoin cannot go up yet, for now anyone could buy btc at this rate then it can hold for long term.

The market is usually more like a game of probability. It is more like, this has happened, so what is the possibility of seeing this happen. If this happens, then I will make a move. That is just how market is most especially for traders. However, this is not gambling that one would just be giving the prediction game, most especially as complex as it is.

Lol yeah. I think it's best you leave the price prediction to the experienced traders since even they can't make accurate predictions especially in times like these. As for the all time high this year, who knows. I'm feeling a bit confident about it.

When prices are falling, everyone panics and fears the end. When prices are rising, people celebrate and think the party will never stop. BTC will recover and likely overtake it's high, but who knows when. I would imagine this year we would see new all time highs.

Predicting the price of Bitcoin is really very difficult, but what I am sure of is that BTC will not fall to its bottom this year. Finally, it will start recovering.

Well, just like you said, it is likely and that is still under a probability which you yourself already know. One thing about this market is that it is highly complex and volatile which is the reason why sometimes, even with your TA, knowledge of indicators, they just do not work.

Most times though I have tend to just stick with price actions in the market rather than just using the indicators to do your thing. If you can at least trade with candles, I feel one is always better off but all in all, no one can predict any market's future.

In a long period of time (like the movement in every year) Bitcoin movement is unpredictable, because at that time what determine it was news, not technical analysis. So the Bitcoin movement cannot be predicted. Like in the last year, a few months before the price soared no one would have expected Bitcoin's movement to be so strong. If you want to predict based on technical analysis then Bitcoin’s price will fall if met with the death cross, I think someone here had discussed it.

Unfortunately, bitcoin has severely undermined its credibility due to falling prices. It will take time to restore it. I think that by the end of the year we can hope for a final price recovery at the level of 20K dollars. All this will depend on the mood and interests of the whales. For me, bitcoin has been and remains a promising project.

I cannot see the pattern that happens in every year, I know the movements that occurred in Bitcoin’s price chart each year’s varies, can you teach me how do you analyze it?

It is possible and eventualy the price will exceed 20000$ but it can't be predicted when is this going to happen. Bitcoin market is very complex and also sensitive mechanism influenced by variety of factors. If it will happen this year, it's more likely to be in the second part of the year. And I also think that this time this will not happen so fast and dynamic like at the end of the last year. I would say this was unique situation that will not happen in the similar scenario so soon.

We still have have more months left before this year ends and i think bitcoin can rise drastically any time of the day. We only need to wait until this bearish pattern will change to a bullish one.

True and with that we shouldn't lose faith in bitcoin.  Bitcoin will always be the number one crypto.  I think that the dumped happening right now is good turning point after what happened in the last month of 2017 where bitcoin suddenly bubbled up. This is like giving chance to those who did not invested because of the high price. Investing become more affordable and this is helpful to them.

We would like to know what price bitcoin will have in the future but you need to understand that is simply impossible, the best we can do is to speculate, and by what we can see it right now it seems unlikely bitcoin is going to surpass its highest price in this year, now that doesn't mean that is impossible because bitcoin has done incredible things especially in the last year but you must not count on that.

This is really hard to tell especially right now that we are awared Bitcoin is having a rough start this year. The highest price that it reached last year is closely 20000 usd. Right now its value in the market is struggling at 7000 usd. To think how far the distance is and considering the situation that the market is having. It is really hard to tell that the achievement last year would be surpassed this year. But let's just hope that it would given the capabilities of Bitcoin, i think it somehow has a chance.

It is even absurd for anyone to think they can just assume what the future holds for any market. Way too absurd! This is a market, and a very volatile one for that matter and that obviously should tell the OP or anyone in his shoes that trying to assume what would happen tomorrow or in the future of any market is something that is impossible.

Anything can change within a split of a second and all you just have to do is blend in.  On positive notes, by this year end, people will start speculate based on next halving hence we can have bitcoin prices anywhere from where we are. So, new ATH most probably possible by this year end.

This is one of the things that surprises me the most by the community, when everything is right and bitcoin is going up people are extremely hopeful about the future of bitcoin but as soon as we get a setback and the price begins to go down people become pretty negative, while I do as much experience in investing as people here in the forum this is something that I have never seen in any other market.

In that Bitcoin will exceed the historic maximum this year - I'm 100% sure. I'm even afraid that this will happen very quickly. I think that some time is necessary for such price levels. Now is not the time for such events, - there must correspond both a fundamental background and a technical one. Because as long as there is no good fundamental and technical basis, any surges in prices will be just splashes, not solid growth.

I think you better learn first what is cryptocurrency, how to cryptocurrency and what are the advantages and disadvantages of joining cryptocurrency. prediction problems will you know by itself, basically prediction is a prediction that is not necessarily true or false. a lot of factors that affect the problem of price prediction in this forum.

Highest price was $19,000-$20,000 so for someone that's new to the market, I'll give you a hint that you take a peek at the past year's price.

2016 wasn't so good and after that 2017 became a blessing to everyone in bitcoin/crypto verse.

There are predictions that bitcoin is about to reach $50,000 for this year end so it's up to you if you want to believe it.

But most are into long term holding and it isn't a question that we all want to see better price for this year.

We don't know it for sure but as for the last two years it shows that when it was from the point of year end it always go up with an unexpected jump we never dreamed of. However this is just a theory which many believe was true i too expect this to happen this year i mean what's wrong with good vibes it's all about people who uses bitcoin that affects the price.

If the total volume of bitcoin that sell is not as much as previously purchased, then there are still many people holding, and it is seen from fewer buyers in the market, for now there has not been any positive sign that ensures that the price will rise and exceed the previous ATH. but usually the price will look will pump when starting in August, so wait and see..

Yeah, right. I believe that also, basing on what had happen already in cryptomarket.  We can see a great potential that it would happen also this year. As long as users and investors are increasing in number, higher market price can possibly be achieve or even it would exceed 20KUSD before this year ends.

You do not need to be a genius or an expert to know this is not going to happen in this year, there has been a lot of FUD lately and many people listened to it and sold their coins in panic, now all of those people that were relatively new to the market and that have lost money are fearful they will commit the same mistake again and so they do not want to invest anymore, and the people that have a strong faith in bitcoin do not have too much money left to invest since they invested most of their funds during the bull market of the last year.

the value of bitcoin depends on many things and from the purchase and order of all investors, so this can not be a precise prediction result. and for the results of your own predictions, we can see with the grapik data from previous years. but from many investors believe that bitcoin value will be high again.

Everything can happen, nothing is impossible. For this one, I think it is very difficult to realize if bitcoin will rise above the highest price ever happened. It is too much if bitcoin prices can rise that high.

yes that's right, the word impossible becomes non-existent in the crypto world, as rising and falling prices become unpredictable. and no words are too high in my opinion, this is still possible.

So many factors usually affect bitcoin and crypto market value which range from FUD which is classified under fundamental issues around bitcoin and technical issues in favour or against bitcoin. Although, there are some fundamental issues that usually affect bitcoin value positively the way it does negatively. 

No one can predict the price of bitcoin whether it will go high or low. Any time anything can be happened. Tomorrow itself its starts to increase or it will decrease. But according to coinmarketcap this ups and downs arw normally happens in every year. So by the end of this year surely the market will boom up again. And it will break the last year price and create new record in bitcoin history. So lets hope for the best.

Though it seems to be a long shot basing from the current happenings lol. But yeah, one thing we can all learn from crypto is that it can and it will surprise you. For me there is always the possibility of bitcoin will reach the highest price this year, it is still June and I think at the end of the year bitcoin will be able to make it happen. If I may suggest, do not stick to the highest price of bitcoin but look at the use of bitcoin, if you just look at the price then you will be easily attacked by a sense of panic.

While predicting what it is going to be price in the next second is impossible the longest the term you want to predict the more certain we can be about the direction the market is going to take even if we cannot be sure of the magnitude of that movement, for example I think it is very easy to predict that in ten years the price of bitcoin will be way higher than now, what we do not know is how much higher it will go but that is fine by me since I have no rush to sell my bitcoin.

I believe that bitcoins will surpass its previous price because there new countries today where are their government are legalizing cryptocurrency in their area so we can expect a higher price of bitcoins due to new investors that will be coming in the market.
