This is a great and needed service offered buy Bitcoiniacs and Robocoin, and they do obviously need to get paid for this service, but it sort of goes against one of the purposes of bitcoin which is to do away with banks and centralized control.
This ATM is very cool, and so is Waves Cafe for hosting it. I think what it needs is a couple bitcoiners standing next to it offering to sell bitcoin for a cheaper rate then the machine. Then is will be perfect. Then is will be perfect. It doesn't go against the goal of bitcoin because it is simply an option. It would be impossible to force anyone to go through robocoin for their BTC. Isn't this what the free market is all about? Cool place to hang out and talk with other bitcoiners. I was surprised to meet people who were more excited about it than I was.
