Title: What's happening to Bitcoin?
Post by: erickkyut on March 30, 2018, 12:57:45 AM
What is happening to Bitcoin? Why does the pricenkeeps on falling down? The initial result of G20 is favorable towards it so I thought that it will be the start of another bullish chart but it is the opposite. Can someone enlighten me about the current situation of cryptocurrency?

There were reports that Mailchimp started shutting down accounts that is related to Cryptocurrency. You can read it at Cointelegraph. After the news broke out, price of bitcoin dropped below $7,000. Its a good marketing tool but if Mailchimp doesn't want the business of Crptocurrency, there are always other options like aweber, freshmail, and icontact.

Unfortunately some big exchanges in japan pulled off and cease it's operation these exchanges are; Tokyo gateway, Mr. exchange, Raimu, Bitexpress and Bit Station. But all is not bad some speculators and bitcoin investor said that this is a good chance to buy more cheap altcoins and bitcoin. It would be unlikely for bitcoin to recover within short term but im expecting a rally after a few months.

I don't panic. I'm just curious because I know that the initial result of G20 was favorable to Bitcoin and yet the price keeps on falling. I trust cryptocurrency.

I already read that news but since it came from cointelegraph, I have doubts if it is legit. Sometime cointelegraph is being paid to spread fake news.

There are a lot of news about Bitcoin that creates FUD others have already posted the most recent once. Through our this first quarter there were non stop news about Bitcoin that were not positive which affected the price. Also I know that technical analysis is not that famous on the crypto currency market but still death cross is near and with the current trend most likely we will go below the death cross also a possible reason why prices are falling. Still if you are a planning to hold it for long term just stick to your plans. This market will recover eventually.

it is more like what happened not what's happening. and what happened was a lot of FUD and manipulation, where whales kept dumping until they successfully started the bear market. now there is a large number of investors who took their money out of bitcoin and are waiting for this shenanigan to stop so that they can come back in.
them going out means the way down is a path with least resistance :D

Bitcoin is experiencing a price depression.
Bitcoin prices dropped by more than 50 percent.
This is not good for the fans. Sooner or later, bitcoin will soon be left behind fans.
And they turn to another coin that they think is profitable.

I've read some of the latest cryptonews about the decline of bitcoin but none of them can exactly state the reason behind this dip. Some says that this is still a follow-up of the recent banning of crypto advertisements in Twitter. Well, there's also this issue about Mt Gox Exchange, that the whale just dump his bitcoins off to pay for the creditors. It also says he still has remaining bitcoin to dump and so the price will continue to go down for a while but it will eventually surge up again.

Despite reading the news such as those, I didn't feel anxious or worried. I just thought that the whales in the market are playing their little game of mind and fear manipulation. Only the strongest holder will survive after this.

Even though Mailchimp had not made any public statement regarding crypto news shutdown but it really affects the current situation because crypto investor and holders are always following  and watching on social media and other forms of information that tells the movement and trend of all crypto.

Even there is a bullish like the G20 but still there are lot of development that contributed to the falling down like the FB, Google and Twitter ban in which it will be difficult to some users of Bitcoin platform to promote their business and sites. The regulations in which it will be difficult to some investors to directly to pour their money to Bitcoin without completing the KYC application requirements. These are the some of the few reasons on why the price is falling down that i think we should start to use to it if we want not to quit this investment.

Yes, I noticed a lot of FUD's, too. So many speculations on why the bitcoin price is dipping yet no exact answer at all. This only makes the market shaky and unstable as the little fishes with trembling eyes and knees sell their coins. Nonetheless, cheaper coins for us all if bitcoin falls at 5000.

Because of those FUDs and no one can really explain why the price is continuosly going down, I'm starting to believe that there are groups of people which can manipulate the price in the market. Maybe they want to acquire more of it on a cheaper price.

Still many people don't know about G20,so the price falling does not related with that G20 report but if people come to know about that then the condition may change. But the price falling is just normal at the beginning of every year so still we are in the beginning so no need to panic just buy more bitcoin now.

The fall in bitcoin prices is a consequence of speculation. Last year we saw speculators create a deficit of coins and overheated the market. Now they spread fud in order to enhance the effect of panic. Who spread rumors about the sale of bitcoins mtgox? We are told that prices are falling because the Manager sells 200,000 bitcoins. Lol. Only one exchange Methanex in the last 24 hours sold 106000 bitcoins. Compare the scale!

Bitcoin fluctuations is just a normal activity in the crypto market where it drop so suddenly and then came back to it's usual price where it sometimes the increase is much promising. Currently, the price is $7.2K and will be hoping that it will step up in the coming weeks for great comeback. I think this price adjustments is still on the process of recovery for a great bullish run as expected by more people in general.

this is not regular price correction and shouldnt be taken as simple FUD effect.

in 2017, people didnt lose hope for bitcoin but now huge amount of investors are cashing out since they think bitcoin will fall more.

if you were investor before 2017, there is no problem for you. but if you invested in Q4 of 2017 like most of the people, then it is normal to panic.

Yes, just like what I have said, so many news circulating but no definite answers. The only thing we can do is to keep on researching and to wait on how everything will turn out.

I actually think that is true. All these whales are creating ripples to alarm the small holders so they'll sell their coins causing a dump to depreciate the price of the coin. And then there they go buying the coins in bulks and eventually increasing the price back up.

The supposed ban of twitter om cryptocurrency and ICO ads might have discouraged a lot of our fellow bitcoin investors from believing that bitcoin could still survive this year due to the consistent bans it have received from countries and decline on support from numerous social media giants. But I don't bitcoin could not carry on this, the valye will stabilize and the price will recover in a few months, I'm telling you.

What comes up in my mind with respect to the bearish dip that it has experienced in the current situation is that whale investors are somewhat like doing the price manipulation that could have been one of the reason for this dips. But definitely, I am expecting recovery in the coming months for bitcoin to bounce back to it's usual price and hopefully will reach at $12k USD.

I doubt if anyone can give a honest answer to this. It took a few weeks for people to figure out that the Mt Gox trustee was

dumping 1000s of coins onto exchanges and this triggered a downward spiral in the price. Something like this might be

happening now and we will never know it.  ::) {Something not related to Mt Gox, because that Bitcoin address are being

monitored} ..... If you ask me, I will take a calculated guess and blame this on large traders that are suppressing the price.

Many factors are contributing to it to be honest . All the hustle that is being created by the ad ban and so many things upon it are just leading to be the main reasons why bitcoin is facing such bullish fall . Moreover , a very huge sell off is being reported which further contributed to such a fall . bitcoin is apparently in its lowest right now and is almost hitting $6000.

This was expected to happen and the reason was not that of G20 results or something related to G20.The reasons were heavy selling is still going on near the resistance and if this going on then you can see few more 10% to 20% decline in bitcoin price chart. if the chart has to rise then this will be a double bottom and then we will see a good strong bullish candle and then a strong rally, and i think only time will prove my words right or wrong so it is better to leave on future time and till than just wait for the right direction to take some trade.

Bitcoin has gone down a lot in the last few days, and we don't know why it has suddenly dropped. But I don't think it will last long. Many people have chosen to buy bitcoins now, which will give us a lot of revenue and I will be in bitcoin if the bitcoin rebound.

bitcoin is decreasing. Bitcoin market is affected by major countries such as Russia, China. big corporations google, facebook, twiter have stopped advertising bitcoin. The number of bitcoins sold out more than the number of bitcoin bought so prices fell. This puts pressure on managers to find a way to boost the rebound bitcoin.

Nothing unusual. You can read the history books. Everything repeats itself periodically, although in different guises.
(but this is not exactly certain, no one will say. The coin can go up or down - it 's all that I know about it)
Yes nothing unusual, it only repeats its history. Bitcoin is volatile and that is normal. It does not mean that if you're on top you'll just stay there forever, you must fail in order to success. Bitcoin goes down sometimes but it will rise again. We just patiently wait for that time to come. I think big whales are just spreading bad news about bitcoin in order to manipulate and to harvest bitcoins from the panic seller. Whats happening on bitcoin now is normal.

Currently google, facebook has stopped advertising bitcoin. The twiter also intends not to advertise bitcoin. This worries investors so they sell a lot of bitcoins to the market. As a result, bitcoin prices fell sharply and could reach the lowest value. I hope that the regulators will have a way to boost up bitcoin again.

It is just nothing but the phases that Bitcoin is passing through. The world has witnessed these changes since the time Bitcoin appeared. Its value some times increases and some times decreases so you need to buy in time when Bitcoin is low and to sell in time when Bitcoin is going high will allow you to earn profit. Only manipulation on big scale, strategy of manipulators is to "Spread FUD and Buy again at low price".
They have achieved the target what they were looking for, thanks to panic sellers all around here who have contributed in this price downfall along with the manipulators. Hold on your bitcoins for few months and then you will clearly see the answer of your question.

Bitcoin is sometimes down but will rise again, Bitcoin is easily changed and it is normal. That does not mean that if you are on top you will only stay there forever, you must fail to achieve success.

A series of hurdles caused to the Bitcoin and Crypto markets. This is a long chain and its value goes down in the blink of an eye, the value of loss increases. What will happen next, can we bear patiently?

I just wait patiently for the time to come.

It is normal that the price of bitcoin is going down because we all. know that the value of bitcoin is not stable. Just relax and this is the best opportunity to add some investment in your bitcoin because the price is a bit low.

I also wonder why the price of Bitcoin fell steadily, whereas the G20 meeting yesterday was positive. probably after the Twitter ban on Bitcoin and Crypto Ads, plus the issue of Banned Linkedin against Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency, which causes the price of coins to drop. but facing this we do not need to panic, precisely this is a good opportunity to increase our investment by buying as many coins.

I think Bitcoin will still go up eventually, anything can happen in cryptoworld. Now even after the long run of recent market dips many blockchain industry will continue innovating their programs. And outside investors are still remarkably optimistics about cryptocurrency markets. And as long as there's still many individuals who beleive and accepting Bitcoin. Bitcoin and other cryptocurrency will continue. Even those many investors are constantly awaiting the rise in bitcoin price, it's because they still believe on bitcoin...

I think there are some reason behind the fall. Japan is closing some bitcoin exchange within a short time. Moreover, Mailchimp is closing the accounts associated with cryptocurrency. I also have invested a good amount. But not so worried truly coz I believe it will raise again.

Bitcoin is experiencing a price depression.
Bitcoin prices dropped by more than 50 percent.
This is not good for the fans. Sooner or later, bitcoin will soon be left behind fans.
And they turn to another coin that they think is profitable.
I think the price drop only to 25%  and though we experience a slumping of price it has regain and it has not drop lower to the worst drop on February 6 which ot went down to 5947k. Now the price is above that and actually rising so i guess this shows improvements.

The depression on the price of bitcoin is mainly because of the banning and restrictions it received from countries and companies that gets threathened by it decentralization. Possibly this is just a way for other countries to give fear to the imvestors so that they will sell and the price does go down. But i am quite positive to bitcoin will regain soon. For the past years it has proven it strenght to continue and stay afloat in the market.

What had happened to bitcoin is just normal. Its value is not stable, as investor you should be aware to its ups and down to stop worrying. Sooner its value will go back to its original price or higher than its normal price depending on the markets demand or the number of people investing .

I think the G20 results only make bitcoin values a bit stable. but support from the G20 does not affect when bitcoin gets attacked by fake news, and also big selling of bitcoin done by some whales makes bitcoin fall deeper.

so I thought, it would be hard for bitcoin to rising back. but I heard a lot of people predict that in April bitcoin will go up but slow.

We all know that the price is still falling down these past three months but that is normal as you can review the previous years price. After that dips, I believe that the price will rise up again or bull run. I know that is only part of a Bitcoin cycle wherein we are in the part of accumulation stage and soon the price will hit the highest record or bull run and then correction and so on. All we need to do for now is to just hold and then wait for the best time.

Inconsitency is a character of Bitcoin. So I would tell every one not to be tensed or worried because of the recent price fall of Bitcoin. All need to be patient and wait for the price to be normal again and hopefully they will not have to wait for much.

At this very moment we all know that bitcoin has a lesser value than of before. It's experiencing a major problem and as you can see the current value had drop. But I think this is just a struggle that's need to be done and we should take advantage of the opportunity to buy bitcoin since its price is lesser and the day will come that its value will rise up again.

Bitcoin dropped to below $7000 now, and price downfall is normal in all cryptos. As we all know, its price solely depends on its supply and demand which is affected by many factors. And i think the consecutive news about bitcoin banning affects its price. First and foremost the banning of crypto exchanges in china, then banning of crypto ads on facebook & google, and now twitter is also planning the same thing. With this, it affects the crypto market thus resulting to its dumping price. Added to this is the left and right panic selling of bitcoin holders.

it is still overpriced, even a 200% growth on where it was this time last year would only put it at 3,000.  Look at a chart since early 2016 and it is difficult to imagine it being naturally above 4,500 at this moment.    You have to realistic about these things.

Bitcoin is dumping, bitcoin is crashing, what should we do now? Sell bitcoin? Nope, we should not sell bitcoin. It is not about the event that is happening now because it is about the power of the investment that we took if it can survive more years and dominate the market for more years. Bitcoin is a really strong cryptocurrency and having dumps like this is a temporary thing that we should not think about.

These happened for long now price went down and no changes at all. Many had thought the end of downfall but as we can see were not yet in the stage of regaining it's value. A lot of news that affects the price and we should be patient during this bad market.

bitcoin is down to $ 8000. Major corporations like facebook, google, twiter have stopped advertising bitcoin. This affects the bitcoin market and the bitcoin price decreases. Therefore, countries such as Japan should seek to boost up bitcoin.

Nothing will stop as far as cryptos is concerned, as people have heavily invested in cryptos and the budget will make waves, but with no effect… as time passes by the crypto rates and market overall will keep increasing. Stay strong,be positive .

The falling of bitcoins price is happening yearly so stay calm if you are not satisfied in the price, hold your bitcoin. Always believe in the power of bitcoin. Bitcoin will rise soon.

In any market there are cycles. Under the G20 set up a short-term growth cycle, in order to give an imaginary hope for a reversal. But in the medium-term prospect of Bitcoin is still in a correction. That's OK. Worry about it is not necessary. It would be strange if he grew up after December, in which case the decline would be even stronger
