I do not think bitcoin will fall back to $ 6000, is it time for bitcoin to rest? and replaced by ETH or Ripple?

I want your answer based by the reasons.

I think it will be more than that, probably going down to 5k dollars and altcoin also follow.
And it is unlikely that ETH or Ripple can replace Bitcoin, Ethereum and Ripple have their own platform different from Bitcoin.

I think maybe June is the time for Bitcoin to go up drastically.

Guys. Come on. Those who brought Bitcoin at the peak aren't knowledgeable with the market and been a victim of missing the train and now that it corrected itself. It is healthy to pull itself back from those extreme rise and before the year ends we will see new records setting up in a much more logical rise.

The highest demand is now at $ 6000 and to this day bitcoin can still survive at the price of $ 6700- $ 6900. Most likely when the demand is met then the price will rise again. I do not know exactly when the time of bitcoin price will touch $ 6000 but certainly, it will happen because it is supported by death cross already happened. Related to ETH, many people including John McAfee speculate that the platform used by ETH has the advantage of being able to replace bitcoin in the future - the speed and cost of transactions smaller than bitcoin.

Ethereum and Ripple are different platforms but investors are same. So peoples are drop the buying in Bitcoin at the same Ethereum and Ripple also down because all are cryptocurrency. It is depends on demand and supply of Crypto market. But one possibilities are available that is some government is implementing the legalisation of cryptocurrency it will change the crypto market.

Ethereum taking over from bitcoin can happen but in my view, it will take several years because bitcoin already has a strong community. The price of Bitcoin will still go bullish. Ethereum has the advantage of transaction speed and fees but overtaking bitcoin will be a huge task.

It is the end of March and bitcoin price is still $7000, so I don't think it will be down to $6000 soon too. Besides, if bitcoin price is down, the price of ETH and Ripple will be down too. So bitcoin is still number one and cannot be replaced by those.

I think it is very unlikely that bitcoin is replaced by ethereum and ripple. because I think the increase and decrease in the price of ethereum and ripple refer to bitcoin. I have observed in different exchanges if bitcoin goes down, another coin like ethereum etc will go down too. and if bitcoin rises ethereum will also rise.

Bitcoin will probably maintain its current position for sometime at $6000 or a little less than that and none of those coins could replace Bitcoin anytime soon. Because the Bitcoin is still more famous than it predecessors, and its value is because of its community and features, and yes the most important thing that makes Bitcoin more valuable than ETH, and Ripple is its limited supply of 21 million Bitcoins which is still lower than ETH, and Ripple.

The other reason that makes Bitcoin more valuable and usable than ETH, and Ripple is its entry into the market. Other cryptoes came after Bitcoin and that's why if its usage decrease than the whole market will face huge collapses in future. Ethereum, and Ripple are also down in value because of crypto-market collapse. And, the ones who use ETH and XRP instead of Bitcoin will face more losses than the ones who use Bitcoin.

march already done but we still believed in bitcoin. Dont lose we will be back again, etherium and ripple are only relying on bitcoin price. They will no over run bitcoin, bitcoin will dominate again the crypto world.

end of march will be the pumping time of bitcoin. do you see the big increase in price now the lowest price this year is 6500$ but now bitcoin is 7100$ again i think bitcoin will increase more this day. so buy more bitcoin to receive big profit later when it pumps again more.

I will only consider it, if eth and Ripple is on gaining price while Bitcoin is losing, but unfortunately everytime BTC crash all altcoins are also following, so the price so much depends on the price of Bitcoin and not Ethereum or Ripple.

thats it,move on guys we cant back whats happen last year,those who bought in peak when price is around $15,000-19,000 accept the reality that the recovery cant be done by overnight.the correction has been done and if the speculation is right this will take 1-2 years again to get the highest price bitcoin ever had.so lets keep the patience and be calm.we trust bitcoin right?so wait no rush will happening soon

Ripple is a pump and dump coin whose major supply is held by a single company, and hence, it CANNOT replace Bitcoin ever!
As of today, there is not any coin which can replace Bitcoin. Probably in the next few years we might see a coin climbing up the chart but to dethrone bitcoin from the top would take a herculean effort. In most countries, people still think BTC and Cryptos are synonymous and still cant differentiate between the both. So, expecting bitcoin to be replaced by some other ALT would not happen.
Also, price can never be stable. It will always be volatile. 6000$ is a support price for BTC and we can expect it to rise again soon.

Eth lmao they already tanked a while back what makes you think they'll take over bitcoins, just cause it's down now doesn't mean it'll always be down just a matter of time before it bounces back to the top. Bitcoins is based on sentiments and it'll bounce soon the fud clears the air, just be patient do not believe the media.

it's never going to happen. every single coin depends on bitcoin, cause it is the master of all crypto. and i don't know, what are your ideas based on, cause if we look at the prices the change of the prices is the same. and why is Ripple even in this question? in my opinion, it's far from staying in a line with bitcoin or ethereum.

BTC and ETH are just too different to be able to say ETH will take over, ETH may be at the forefront of what they do but it cannot replace BTC they are just too different, I think now is a great time to pick up some ETH, BTC I think will go a bit lower maybe down as far as $4k.

No, bitcoin will not rest until I earn my profit this year. If bitcoin will rest, a lot of applications and businesses will be rendered useless. I still have faith in bitcoin and I believe that this is only another bump in the road that it can pass through. Bitcoin will gain its uptrend sooner or later and it will reach 9000 again. Ethereum and Ripple is no match for bitcoin and bitcoin can still prove itself.

I have heard such sentences almost more than 100 times before and each and every time Bitcoin survived. There is a lack of realization of Bitcoin's user base and market volume on a broader scale so Bitcoin is not something that can vanish overnight. I am sure that Bitcoin will hit a new all time high level in this year itself irrespective of the things happening in crypto industry.

How do you think that ETH or Ripple be able to replace bitcoin, just explain one way in which the other is better to be considered as a decentralized currency. ETH is a good platform if you are planning to start a fund raiser and provide token for it and Ripple is a centralized coin with a huge number of coins in circulation and that is the main difference between bitcoin and the rest.

No,ETH or ripple is going down too when bitcoin price fall.Look at the market,the ETH and ripple price is following the bitcoin price,not once those coin price is higher than when bitcoin at the peak.With no big news regarding those two coin,it will keep following bitcoin price till community start to leave bitcoin and move to ETH or ripple.

Currently, bitcoin is already recovering and now almost at $7K which I believe will continue to get up. ETH and Ripple coins are dependent with bitcoin either it will rise or it will dip since altcoins are closely correlated with bitcoin. On the coming succeeding months, bitcoin will probably make a rally after experiencing the adjustments on the past months bearish dips.

Well bitcoin might fall till 6000 USD but I don't think it would be replaced by ethereum, ripple or any other altcoin. It would still be the coin with highest price. Also, I don't think this would be a 'rest' time for btc as it should start going up again in a few days. The reason I think othe coins won't be replacing btc is because  their condition is not that good either, even their prices are low.

I think it would be better for us to understand if you would make the statement with some reason or logic. Anyway, I don’t see any change or development in ETH or Ripple that can convince me that either of them will replace Bitcoin. It’s quite unlikely while their price still evolve centering BTC’s price.

I think the fall of bitcoin price is not a reason for bitcoin to be rested and replaced by another coin. I think bitcoin will not be that easy to vanish, because bitcoin is still the strongest and most popular coin. Be patient, bitcoin is not a weak coin and bitcoin can bounce back.

Bitcoin is leading the market because of it's popularity and features. If bitcoin price falls down then the prices of other crypto currencies also decrease. So, it's not easy to get replaced by other coins like ETH and ripple as bitcoin will remain in the dominating position.

I think the severe downturn of the bitcoin occurs many times during its formation and development. It is not the first time that this suspicion has caused panic. Bitcoin has significant declines. I think it's a natural process on the trend of popularity and popularity. You can not demand continuous bitcoin growth. It needs a process to create a balance. So, you think Ethereum with it's centralized authority <Vitalik & founders> and Ripple <not even a real Crypto currency> will take Bitcoin down? Bitcoin has no single authority and no founders who got pre-mined coins to line their pockets with free money. Ripple is a Bank coin and no true Crypto enthusiast or investor with some crypto currency knowledge, would invest in that centralized technology.

Well, for starters there really is no sugarcoating it the past weeks and days are really enough to even make the staunchest of veterans panic. I however, do believe that this is also what has happened last year when the dip was enough to make everyone panic but then bitcoin came back better and was resurgent. There is still that possibility that bitcoin maybe losing its hold on the ground but I still think that ethereum and ripple are still ways off especially considering just the price value of its market

Crypto market fall down doesn't mean that bitcoin will rest or will be replaced i mean (come on) bitcoin still the best around for now we cannot just say something like that and also the crypto fall out is based on false news and some people who doesn't like crypto market and what it will do to world which if they thought about it will benefit all of us !!!

I don't think bitcoin has stopped falling. In the past two days, the price of the currency has gone up a lot, it increased from $6200 to $6200, but I think this is just a temporary rise, it will continue to fall, I think that $5000 will be at the bottom of it.

No doubt that march months was not such a good month for the bitcoin price, we saw a lot of ups and down in bitcoin price in march 2018, but still i would like to say that bitcoin price has still a very strong support and that is the reason that bitcoin price is still trading above 7000$, in fact people still interested in bitcoin and want to trade bitcoin and therefore i think that bitcoin price will very soon recover its position and hopefully will cross the 14000$ level in month of April 2018.

Bitcoin price is really not that good this month, But, that really doesn't mean that the Bitcoin era will end here. Bitcoin is just getting started, and I really believe that this project will still pump, we just need to wait and see what will happen to the Bitcoin price in the next month.

and april is the start of its rebirth and ascension, now that it is starting to recover again I wonder how much it would rise or maybe even make a sudden breakthrough again as it finally reaches more than $20k in market value. 

I think April will be a start poin of recovery. And in May - huge growing. Hope we will see much more growing than in January.

Eth replacing bitcoin is ridiculous and even thinking Ripple to do that is much more. Last year, bitcoin was also stuck in it's price for so long and it was just $1k so seeing bitcoin not moving today is just normal and does not mean anything like it's finally resting for good.

I think this is not the time of bitcoin break. It still works, but last time Bitcoin price has dropped to $ 6,000, causing the market to slow down. I disagree with you, even though bitcoin prices fall back at $ 6000 does not mean that bitcoin is replaced by ethereum (ETH) or Ripple (XRP) the price is still very far away with both coins

That's far enough from the truth and I don't think that it may happen as bitcoin is strong that it will recover from it's past dips. Due to correction in the market, bitcoin has not yet fully recovered but it will rise again in the coming months. ETH to replace bitcoin is also not feasible this time. ETH and other altcoins are usually dependent on the rise of bitcoin since they are correlated with each other.

I cannot be sure how deep Bitcoin will fall, but certainly Bitcoin will make a comeback soon with a little retest. Maybe the phenomenon at last year will be repeated again, but no one knows. One more, Bitcoin wouldn’t be so easy to die and replaced by altcoin, there's still a lot of development going on and what's going to happen to Bitcoin going forward.

No, Bitcoin is only take a moment to rest after a record-breaking Bull trend and shocked the world a few months ago. If Ripple or Ethereum want to depose Bitcoin, then they must be independent of Bitcoin's pioneering as the pioneer of Cryptocurrency, unlike today which their prices are still affected by the Bitcoin market.

If we based on the previous year bitcoin price, it is always downfall of bitcoin and the price is very low to the point that it is below half of its peaked price so for me it is normal. Fluctuation of price is not new in bitcoin market due to its volatility and some people are always in panic selling when they see that bitcoin is falling down so others are also copy them so the amount of bitcoin dumped are increasing. But as of today, price are recovering and rising again.

In March, Crypto experienced the period of decline. But recently the market has begun to increase. I think, It will continue this way for a long time from now on.

Every first quarter of the year bitcoin moves slowly. We have seen the price falling from almost 20K to 6K in February. Since then the price slowly increased to 7K. Now in the second quarter it's going a little faster. But not as fast as we would like. The 10K resistance is a little to hard to take at the moment.

We have surpassed $9500 for a brief moment but it seems that the market in on a another correction, as the price goes to $9K and the whole crypto is on red right now. But it doesn't mean that we are dead again. Just normal to see bitcoin and crypto in general to take a dip as we have been in a bullish trend for more than a week now.

And i agree with you that $10K resistance is very hard to break. The $8K-$9K is much easier broken because the cash suddenly pour in, but to be able to sustain it, we need more fresh blood to pump the ecosystem, unfortunately, it didn't come in time that's why it didn't hold that long. But I'm sure we will bounce back again and attempt to get to that $10K mark.

There is no way any other coin replacing bitcoin and sure the price of bitcoin is looking strong even though the market went down today, but if you compare the entire market the price of bitcoin did not come down like the rest of the coins. We might hear negative news from the market which could impact the price for the short term but looking forward it is a positive market.

It is still worth $ 7000 in the end of March 2018 Bitcoin prices. So I think it will take a lot of time to go down $ 6000 but it will not go down soon enough. If the cost of Bitcoin decreases, the price of other coins will be reduced, such as ETH, Ripple. Bitcoin is now the number one currency in the present world. It can not be replaced forever. Now Bitcoin has gained popularity of all, So it's March why it will not go to rest in the next few years.

If we observe the price of bitcoin in the last few days (since mid-April) the price of bitcoin has increased again. So, I'm sure in the month of may, bitcoin will be back at the price of 12000 USD.

No, I don't see that coming. Bitcoin price will pump this coming month. It is just like last year, the dumping of price is very disappointing but after a few months, bitcoin price will pump again. There are so many predictions about the price is going down, but it is just an opinion.

Well eth still has a long way to go to even catch up with btc even if bitcoin drops to below 8k. The market bleeds as well when btc is on a downward spiral. And a recovery should be inevitable after the drop so keep it cool guys and trust bitcoin

If you see the history of bitcoins, March is the worst month for bitcoins in terms of price. There are various reason for this but it is a fact. I think with the start of May , thing will begin to ease and bitcoin will start rising again. If anyone wants to enter in bitcoins, i think these few days are the best for this.  We will be in bull run for the next 7 months of the year.

It's been almost 2 months and a half that its price is ranging from $8k-$9k. And probably it will stop at $8k and hoping it will rise by next month. There are a lot of reasons affecting its value but I have trust that it will not go back to $6k.

Nope, not in the next years of its lifespan that it will be replaced by any altcoins out there it will remain on the leading spot as it used to be, just because the price is crashing for almost 10% plus we may conclude that it will be replaced by some altcoins, it is proven in the past there are crashes but the aftermath would be tremendous increase.

Those who believe that bitcoin is easy to be replaced by any other immature altcoin, they are either living in a fool’s paradise or hate on bitcoin. Except for these two reasons, there is no other possibility of believing into something as absurd as the thought of bitcoin getting replaced by altcoin. Altcoins are simple followers of bitcoin nothing else. They can never ever get edge over their master i.e. bitcoin. 

Unfortunately several times altcoin is still far from bitcoin prices to date, and again the cause of bitcoin prices drops if whales have dominated markets that cause prices to be intolerable and down.

I think it won't be possible for Bitcoin to be replaced by ETH or Ripple, because bitcoin is the parent of all coins, the fact is that bitcoin is still fine today.
