I have heard such sentences almost more than 100 times before and each and every time Bitcoin survived. There is a lack of realization of Bitcoin's user base and market volume on a broader scale so Bitcoin is not something that can vanish overnight. How do you think that ETH or Ripple be able to replace bitcoin, just explain one way in which the other is better to be considered as a decentralized currency. ETH is a good platform if you are planning to start a fund raiser and provide token for it and Ripple is a centralized coin with a huge number of coins in circulation and that is the main difference between bitcoin and the rest.

No,ETH or ripple is going down too when bitcoin price fall.Look at the market,the ETH and ripple price is following the bitcoin price,not once those coin price is higher than when bitcoin at the peak.With no big news regarding those two coin,it will keep following bitcoin price till community start to leave bitcoin and move to ETH or ripple.

Currently, bitcoin is already recovering and now almost at $7K which I believe will continue to get up. ETH and Ripple coins are dependent with bitcoin either it will rise or it will dip since altcoins are closely correlated with bitcoin. Also, I don't think this would be a 'rest' time for btc as it should start going up again in a few days. The reason I think othe coins won't be replacing btc is because  their condition is not that good either, even their prices are low.

I think the fall of bitcoin price is not a reason for bitcoin to be rested and replaced by another coin. I think bitcoin will not be that easy to vanish, because bitcoin is still the strongest and most popular coin. Be patient, bitcoin is not a weak coin and bitcoin can bounce back.

I think the severe downturn of the bitcoin occurs many times during its formation and development. It is not the first time that this suspicion has caused panic. Bitcoin has significant declines. I think it's a natural process on the trend of popularity and popularity. You can not demand continuous bitcoin growth. It needs a process to create a balance. I think it will be more than that, probably going down to 5k dollars and altcoin also follow.
And it is unlikely that ETH or Ripple can replace Bitcoin, Ethereum and Ripple have their own platform different from Bitcoin.

So, you think Ethereum with it's centralized authority <Vitalik & founders> and Ripple <not even a real Crypto currency> will take Bitcoin down? Bitcoin has no single authority and no founders who got pre-mined coins to line their pockets with free money. Ripple is a Bank coin and no true Crypto enthusiast or investor with some crypto currency knowledge, would invest in that centralized technology.

Only the fiat slaves will go for a technology with centralized control and authority, because they want Crypto currencies, based on that financial model. ^lol^

Well, for starters there really is no sugarcoating it the past weeks and days are really enough to even make the staunchest of veterans panic. I however, do believe that this is also what has happened last year when the dip was enough to make everyone panic but then bitcoin came back better and was resurgent. There is still that possibility that bitcoin maybe losing its hold on the ground but I still think that ethereum and ripple are still ways off especially considering just the price value of its market

I don't think bitcoin has stopped falling. In the past two days, the price of the currency has gone up a lot, it increased from $6200 to $6200, but I think this is just a temporary rise, it will continue to fall, I think that $5000 will be at the bottom of it.

Bitcoin price is really not that good this month, But, that really doesn't mean that the Bitcoin era will end here. Bitcoin is just getting started, and I really believe that this project will still pump, we just need to wait and see what will happen to the Bitcoin price in the next month.
