I unfortunately do not have photos of these scammers because I blocked them and deleted them, but if I still send them to you, be careful, they look for telegrams to themselves in different chat rooms, I'm very worried that honest people would not become victims .

these scammers are very troubling, they are not just in telegram, but scattered everywhere. if we get a message or offer from a source that is not clear, then do not click anything and do not respond to it.

Yes I've seen a lot of scammers impersonating ICO managers or popular personalities on Twitter/Youtube, use cheap and false tactics to trap novices. I noticed several scammers create a scam token similar to actual token, one such scam token arrived recently, Polymath(POLYM) while actual one has symbol POLY, beginners sent them a lot of ETH to get this scam token.

Telegram Private message is full of scammers. So, never believe anything you get in those message.
Just look for official IDs and BOTs posting about in the official channel or group. Verify it with their blog and never ever share private keys anywhere.

i think it all boils down to how much research is being done before committing to any ICO even those in telegram.
before committing to any ICO, be sure to always do your research (web, posts, team, etc) before buying in.
if you can't find any, then it's best not to commit.
for now, users just beware of such scams.

Yeah, these scammers are too desperate to scam people, asking for everyone's private keys if they know the people they are talking to doesnt know anything in the market. So newbies like me should be aware of these schemes because they can easily use social engineering to steal our private keys.Doesnt make sense because newbies wont have big portfolio not unless we have millions in fiat.

Fully agreed with you that first slack was used to scam people and now telegram is using by many scammers to fetch coins from you. They comes to you in the name of ICO admins and ask you to invest in their ICO and so on. Always report spam to any person who is not known to you and want to chat with you in the name of any company and delete that chat instantly because no ICO admin send you pm before you ask any question from them.

Good to make the people aware of these scammers. The new scammers are smart and if you are not careful, you might fall into their traps. If you ask something is a group and suddenly someone PM you saying he is from that group, he may be a scammer. I have experience this kind of things.

Of course, you need to distribute as much information as possible about such bad people as fraudsters, they are not accustomed to earning honest labor and investing any forces and efforts in their work, looking for new victims and profits, so you need to create more chat rooms, talk more to your acquaintances, friends, show photos if there is something that they can wait for they will not block suspicious users, so if you doubt it is better to immediately say that there is no money and block, so as not to be deceived.

Of course there are a lot of such people who of course there are many such people who see that you write to a group of telegrams of a certain prospective company with some question, for example, I had this with the fact that I did not know whether it came to someone for a bounty company, and then the scammer writes to me right away in a personal message that immediately if I send him 0.5 ETH , then I will receive my reward, while in the profile of telegrams hangs an announcement that managers never have nothing to ask to transfer to a purse, here's the fraud.

you need to be always careful otherwise you do not know which side the scammer can come from, and after all they are so cunning now that everything is so believable that you even start to believe, the main thing is always to remember that real managers never would have written such a thing and you can always throw off a picture of a fraudster or the person in whom you doubt.

This is really alarming, it's getting out of hand especially from ICOs telegram groups. They would clone the admin and if not for an experienced one, someone would surely fall for their trap and get ripped of hard earned money. Moreover, no admin would send you pm first. Stay away and don't fall for their trap. Thanks

The more popular cryptocurrencies are, the more cheaters appear. No one can prevent it, so the only way is to be very careful.

The most important is do not trust any new person which propose you good oferts, because it is probably scam and false

Sorry for interrupting, but maybe my experience would be useful for you. Fortunately I never lost my money, but I had many dialogues with scammers. As a rule this happens like this: you join some telegram group or chat of the project you are interested in. In some time someone with the name similar to the admin name (e.g. the same one, but without whitespaces - looks very alike) contacts you and asks you "Hello sir, have you bought our tokens yet?". You say "No", then you are offered to buy the tokens with a huge discount or bonuses or something like that. Usually they try to make the dialogue quick, use pressure (like time is limited) in the hope that people will transfer their money without any checks. Be careful and watch out!

Scammers are spreading and they are using telegram to scam people. Always be cautious on joining on groups and never give any amount of money or your private keys to them.
