I'll personally buy up all of the coins at $1 per BTC. So it can't happen.

If a crash happens from $340 to $1, most people will transition to some other coin like Litecoin. Only few will probably be left, trying to scavange from what's left.

I just know that it's currently the only alt that might have a future due to a difference from BTC. Also, your response again proves you have no argument. I'd say 2014, January. The rate of growth in value has decreased and there even was a small fall a couple of days back (at least in Bitstamp).

Yeah, Mt. Gox, due to withdrawal issues, is no longer a credible source. Bitstamp is probably the best choice. BTC-E has big withdrawal fees.

No reason to celebrate. If you check the chart for the last 2-3 days, then you can see that BTC has actually fallen by $20. The dip to $340 was caused by false rumors from China.

The celebration is because the price is around 420$ and this thread calls us to celebrate when we hit 420$ yeah it might sound lil absurd but this is how it is..!

Not going to happen. Mt Gox will be liquidated very soon, according to the Japanese court. The 200,000 Bitcoins will be auctioned. And most of the revenue from the auction will be used to compensate the users.

Debt? Which debt are you talking about? Mt Gox owes some 650,000 BTC to its customers. They will be partially compensated by the proceeds from the auction. Are there any other debts?

The 650K BTC from a legal stand point is not the issue, there are other debts in $$ if I remember correctly MTGox balance was something like 20million $ Assests 60millions $ debt which means 40 millions in current debts and that's the concern from a legal stand point

420 is coming close this time too like last year and early this year when the huge jump in BTC price happened!

Fuck 420. I'll celebrate when it goes back to 1k... or maybe if it doubles from what it is now to $800. I'm more interested in big companies or industries adopting bitcoin to be honest and that's something we should be pushing to happen and celebrating when it happens.

420 is a good goal and a great time to celebrate.  I think it will keep going up and will soon be close to $1,000 as others have estimated.  The more we get the knowledge out there the better we will be.

I've been away from the forum for a while. I did enjoy seeing this price but the latest Bitcoin news quickly saw the price take a big hit. Hopefully the day will soon come when Bitcoin will not be affected by the words of a silly individual.

Bitcoin already reached that mark around 1 or 2 months ago and I think it can easily reach it again, it's touching the $400 mark and can easily reach the $420 IMO.

Bitstamp is below 400, I don't think HUobi will hold 420 for long and we will have to wait longer until we can celebrate
