sorry if this is the wrong forum to post in, but i cant really seem to find an answer to this question anywhere, might be me who are to stupid to use google properly... I have not used bitcoin in months, and then i read a forum piece about someone who had forgotten about his account, so I decided to install bitcoin again, WITH my OLD wallet.dat file. now my "problem" is that the address in the "receiving" part isn't my old address key... so if i were to pay out some BTCs to this old address key, would they still transfer to my wallet ? -thanks in advance -Livol Title: Re: Adresse changed, payout to old wallet? When the old addresses are not in receive coin section then I guess you are using new wallet.dat and sending to old address you wont be able to spend it Title: Re: Adresse changed, payout to old wallet? Well if the case is this: you don't see any old wallets in the receive tab, it's most likely that a new wallet.dat has been generated.When the old addresses are not in receive coin section then I guess you are using new wallet.dat and sending to old address you wont be able to spend it OP do you have a backup of the old one?
