should have sell my altcoins when it was towering in the market. i need money now but all my altcoins and tokens are in dip low. should i sell it in now or wait for the market to bounce back?

If your need for money is inevitable you should sell it, but you can ask your friends or relatives for the money you need. I suggest you keep holding. Have a good choice  ;D

True and the truth about something like you know the mindset that thinks to just wait for a much better profit but the expectation had failed. That had also happened to me when in the midst of the height I just enjoyed to see my wallet and don't even have a plan to sell  it for safety and suddenly came a plummet where price dips into like 3/4 and I got only 1/4 of overall profit and that sucks but that is the reality here in crypto world we have experienced. We hodl but price fall, we sell but price skyrocket and all we can do is regret, laugh and cry. Winning and losing in this crypto industry could make us crazy but the key is to never give up to find our luck. Don't sell it will just add from your loss, I highly recommend hodl your coins just borrow money from your friends and relatives just tell them you are going to pay them when market is green again but that is so complicated if you will tell them about it.

Its a tough call, but one only you can take, depending on your financial situation. The only sane advice right now would be to hold, but again, if you need the money right now, that cannot apply.

Wait. Regarding your current morale - just clench your teeth an wait. There is no point in mourning over the past. Take your lessons and use them to react better next time. The market will go up hard again, but we have to admit - not before at least a few more months.

If you need urgent amount and you can sell it to fill your needs but the market is unpredictable right now sometimes it shows that there is a bullish trend toward the big bullish trend.

It is called a greediness because when markets are going up we never try to book partial profits because we want more and more profits. But later we regret it for not selling at high.

We need to learn to diversify our funds and shouldn't invest all our funds in one single asset. If invested in another place during these situations we should have used other investments to sell instead of selling at losses these coins.

If the need is urgent then you could actually sell. But if you could find some other options (legal  ;)), that would be better. Coz I’m a 100% sure that the market will bounce back soon. Don’t be like the other traders who cry and pity themselves on this forum because they made a stupid decision.

sorry pal alt coins nowadays is still suffering but there are some project you can gain quick profits but it depends if you have enough money to invest such successful ICO.
Honestly pal the market is very unpredictable and volatile which to difficult to gain profits. If i were you accumulate while the price is on dip then hold for long term if you want to become profitable in the future.

Cash out some real money for living is a good option, and leaave the remaining altcoins for next few months. I think the whole market will recover soon and you should patient.

well many people now in cryptocurrency feel the same you do. be patience pal, everything will be alright. for now ask help from your friends, relatives or sell a portion of your holdings.

That is why dont invest your money if you think you might need it in a months or 2 because we all know that the prices in crypto are like roller coaster ride. There had been many cases I read in here like yours, the lesson is take this invest as a saving that you'll only retrieve after a year or more, and don't invest everything you got, including money you might need right away.

I had a similar situation, I invested most of my money in several altcoins, but then I urgently needed money. If I sold all the altcoins, I would get 50% less than I invested. So I thought for a long time and came to the conclusion that I need to continue to hpld my altcoins.
It was not an easy decision, but I think it's just a difficult time for crypto right now, but soon the prices will start to rise.

Try to classify your coin status, try to double check their progress does their team still working out to improve the project or it was already considered as shitcoins then you can sell them now, determine it now for it might not survive when crypto such as BTC and ETh recovers, some coins may really be left behind and forgotten.

Dont sell your altcoin today since the price is very low, better hold it a little longer and wait for the price to recover with that you wont lose any asset and maybe you'll gain profit out of it so stay hodl/

Definitely, I would suggest you should not sell it this time since cryptocurrency is still on dip. If you will be going to sell it at a lower price then there is no meaning why you had invested the whole thing. The purpose is to earn profit and not to lose the opportunity to gain. It could be a longer patience that you need to do as this will be back on track few months from now.

A big no you should hold if you miss the price high and didnt managed to sell it. I also experience it holding my coins for too long just happily watching the price getting high in a week and then it stop growing and went red day by day losing to much if i sold it before. Right now i just holding it and waiting for the next pump to come and sell then buy new coin to hold.

I think you had better wait for the market. Because you will lose more money with the low price.

We all know the answer to your question buddy, sell it when the market bounce back. But it really depends on your needs, if you don't have enough money and needs it badly, it is still your choice. If you still have an extra income except crypto's better hold it, no matter how long it takes, as long as you will gain big profit from it. Just relax and enjoy, no need to rush selling atcoins, they will have their own time to excel. It will just takes time.

Honestly I think if you sell now you might be banging your head on the wall 6 months from now.  Most of the people I know who invested in altcoins are down 60-85%.  If you need the money perhaps its best to use other avenues such as credit cards or friends.  It already too late, and thinking about what if probably not gonna help either.  Hang in there...

If you need fiat now and selling your altcoins is the only option you can have them, then you have no choice but to do so.

if you still can handle your economic situation right now, i suggest you to hold it a little longer but if you can't handle it or cannot be more patient i suggest you to liquidated the assets. but this is only my opinion

This is one of the biggest problems that people face in this market. Your investments are far from your price target, but something urgent happens and you need money in the real world.

Solutions:

1 (my favorite solution). Try to live in a way that nothing urgent happens to you. Wanna buy a new car? Only do it when you have the money in your pocket, not when you have the "promise of money" in a crypto account.
2. If something urgent happened to you, try to solve the matter in the real world (borrow money, loans, sell real world stuff, ...).
3. If you have to sell your investments, you have to. But try to do it wisely and choose the one that doesn't pump later and leave you in anger.   >:(

do not sell my mate. Just hold on for a while and have some patience for god sake. things will get better so so just don't loose hope and keep faith.

If you really need money for emergency purposes, I will definitely sell those since I can still get back from the start and earn free tokens by participating in bounty campaigns and airdrops. If you just need money for something that is not that important or you think that there is another way to borrow some money, then you should hold those altcoins and sell them on your preferred price. If you sold those when the market is down or if you already lost -30% to -50% of it, then you will definitely regret it every time you will remember it, specially when the market is going upward.

Well, I'm waiting for the market to start growing again to sell its tokens, now they cost very little, so wait for a certain period so that everything goes up.

If you really need money, you should sell your coins. No doubts. Personally I think that the market will show a bull trend near future. But nothing guaranteed. So sell your coins only if you have not another way to fulfill your needs.

I would tell you that if you really need money and they are your last ones, get them from there. But definitely, if you get other opportunity, just hold it.

I assume that everyone thinks about it now. But it always easy to make decisions when it's too late. Anyway it's a good lesson for me. Next time the market goes up I'll sell some of my coins to fix the profit.

I hear ya. I'm also in the same boat except I invested "all" my money. All I got now is my monthly work salary but I've been able to manage using just my salary otherwise I would be in deep trouble selling at a huge loss.

If you still have spare of money, better wait until the market recover. But if you really need it and cannot wait like daily needs and bills and payments, sell other coins that will cover your bills and payment and hold what is left.

True, if you want to sell the right Altcoin that is when the price is high but usually the altcoin holders at the time of the price is not in a hurry to sell it because it sees the price on the market that looks so stable.

If you need money for buy important thing, there will no other choice you have to sell it. You can learn from this case, make investment in crypto is can not guaranted to make profit, so that why important to use money willing to lose and dont put all money in to it. On my case, I havr diversify my investment and altcoins are desogned for me to be invested in long term. If an emergency happensI would vhoose to get from the established coin I have invested. Since the price is at dip now, dont withdraw your investmen. As much as possible dont use it, eventually the price will regain its value and you'll difffinitely regret it.

It depends on you if you see that what you hold will give you profit why not? But if the market is on bloody you cannot sell it immediately. I think if market is on dip you have no choice you need to wait the market to be normal again. Cryptocurrencies is not like cash that if you need you can get it because need to process it I think you need to save a money for your emergency needs.

Yes, you should sell your altcoins when the price is at the highest, the thing is , people tend to be greedy when the price is increasing and then sell them late when the price is already falling down, it happens everyday

Should have, would have, could have...a common sentiment of many in this forum. We just have to get over the fact that we can never always have the whole cake. There will always be times wherein we would neglect how the market moves. Making the wrong analysis (If you even do analyze or just fully depend on luck.) and then missing out on the opportunity to earn big! This happens! And it's all part of the system. We just need to accept the realities of the system and just make out the best of what we receive.
