We have been waiting since 18th of March for the price to reach over $500 again:  Ethereum price (https://www.coinranker.net/cryptocurrency/ethereum). The price is now slowly moving to this point. Will the price reach $500 soon or will we facing a dip again?

I think by the end of the year we'll be sitting at close to $1,000 again.. This little slump won't last forever in my opinion. Best bet is to stock up on Ethereum while it's below $400 right now and while you still can. You won't regret it when this dip is over with.

as i said in another topic, recoveries like this are always short lived in an altcoin that had a huge dump and a lot of bag holders. a lot of them who invested and then lost a lot of money are constantly looking for an exit sign and that small recovery is a big green one for them. their dump brings the price down and them leaving the market prevents any further pump.

The problem is the bitcoin was preventing ethereum to worth a lot. Some hours after a bullish trend for ethereum and bitcoin was getting big dump and it looks like someone was driving the price down again. I don't know what but it looks like someone tries to make panic sell in the bitcoin market right now.

I don`t have any doubt that Ethereum will hit 500 USD soon and, to tell you the truth, this is still the very conservative target. I expect Ethereum to grow not lower than Bitcoin because of high demand for Ethereum in the cryptocurrency world. This altcoin may be considered as one of the major after Bitcoin and will be following Bitcoin in price. So high ROI is expected if you buy Ethereum and just hold it for long-term.

It seems that we are now heading to a brighter future as the price makes it moves in a green light market. Yeah, I'm hoping that this is now the turning point that we are waiting for 3 months. A bigger chance that we will return to the all time high maybe by year end.

I do not think you will reach $ 500 dollar levels anytime soon. Ethreum seems difficult to appreciate as long as the $ 6,400 breakdown level in Bitcoin is exceeded and the bull season is not entered again. It is necessary to wait patiently without waiting.

The current turbulent market is affecting the price of the altcoin, especially ETH is down much, but it will soon recover. To say ETH is $ 500 is too easy, in my opinion it will reach the end of June 2018 and may be higher prices.

The market is to bearish at the moment and I think Ethereum will dip to $350 or something like that. I really hipe that this will not happen, but it doesen't look good at the moment.

But in the coinmarketcap.com the price ethereum up to $397 now, before goes down to $370. Need $100 to reach $500 maybe if some good news come the price will reach $500 in just one day. Let's see in the next day, perhaps that will happen.

That's pretty realistic prediction cause it may go for $600 if the crash stops, we say some greeny prices last day then dumps like a cliff of the mountain today probably some Fudded and weak handed people who are waiting for the pump just to cash out with profit safely, when the dump continues it may fall $350 so expect some cheap ETH if you still have some capitals left, patiently waiting for those weak handed people to dump their coins just to leave the genuine holders that would definitely the mark for the upcoming bull market.

Well there is no big thing for the Ethereum to reach $500 but I want the Ethereum coin to get more and more demand where I can see Ethereum can replace the Bitcoin in future and I am sure that Ethereum is having that kind of potential to reach that kind of level where it can gain much demand and volatility so that it can reach $500 and one day it will start making some new record highs soon and there chances that dip will be seen in the Ethereum price charts.

Today, the market has dropped again and etherium's price of dropped too and it is around $400 again.  I think we need to be patient and calm because we wouldn't see the straight growth soon. Definitely, Etherium will cost 500 and 1000 this year, but not so fast as we want. I think that we will see Ethereum around $500 only in late April or early May.

I woke up today stunned that my alts have gone up a little. I looked to find any news to explain this, and what I'm seeing from there, and from this thread... it sounds like this pump is only fleeting and temporary.

It says that Eth didn't break resistance, and they're forecasting that it's about to head lower into the $360s again. And most of the news has no new tech released or partnerships, so I'm guessing that it's really just a small pump.

Nobody knows when but as long as there is bitcoin, ethereum will follow. So you should consider of looking the price of bitcoin because as most of the altcoins today are following at bitcoin, so does ethereum too. The market is a very dangerous place if you don't have a certain knowledge on how it works.

$500 is possible. Ethereum just like bitcoin has so many investors but right now they decided to keep their fiat and not pour their cash on the ecosystem. But when everything goes on a sudden U-turn, we will see Ethereum enjoying its best moments again and could hit even as high as $1000 which it did last January.

Yeah 500 USD is not a big deal for Ethereum. As soon as we see another bull run (if ever :D) then I expect the price to go between 900-1000 USD and then depending on the volume we may see another ATH. But I dont expect this to happen within the next 1-2 months.

It depends on the time scale. I think it is quite optimistic for the price to be $10k next summer.

No one can says what happen in the future, maybe it happen depends to the fluctuation of coins into the market cap. But as my opinion I think it will not happen because this coin now are seems in increasing trends and I think it will continue until year of 2018 ending.

ETH can do that for you. It can do even more than that for you as it cross the 2k dollar in December. When the US dollar is demanded more in the international market, there starts a phase of valuation and is followed by devaluation when the demand falls. Same is the case here. Right now, the phase of valuation is on its way and if you have a secret wallet having ETH, hold it.

I don't think so because previously we have seen ETH has fallen nearly more than 459$ but this time it won't fall below 500$ because there is very strong support level at $500 mark.

Last week was different though, the price is above $700 and some thought it might get to $800 mark, however it drop together with bitcoin. Eth has return on her way in terms of price increase and i think all of this is because of the bitcoin. ETH was depending ar following in bitcoin price movement bitcoin was not in continues in price increase that's why ETH was on very slow moving in price growth.

In the past, the entire crypto market was facing lot of difficulties and that because of which, it was not possible for the crypto coins to have more market value but things have started turning in favor of the crypto currencies once again.
