For me, it is absolutely Musicoin. I have lost more than 70% and I sold it. I sold because the coin was still falling. At the moment the price is half of my sell level.
Never invest long-term in a crypto which has high mining capacity.

I was reading about ICON and I thought they we're bluffing for some reason, ouch was I wrong. Not getting into that was the worst mistake. It can get worse so I consider myself lucky that that was my worst mistake.

I missed out on Fota at the ico due to the website crashing. I was so pissed I was determined to buy at exchange launch (this was my first buy of a launched coin at exchange) ... from looking at past launches saw that there is an initial spike at launch so...I bought quickly at launch at 3x. unfortunately this was in Q1 and the pretty much every Q1 exchange launch has started at 3x and dropped back to ico price or below.
so now I have Fota which I bought at about 6.5 x of current price.

I still have hope this will come back later this year and I can break even at least.

Fortunately, I didn't have big mistakes with the projects I did research and invested into. However, I had some bad calls regarding airdropped coins. I sold Blue quite below the peak and I have been left hold a sizeable bag of PoS token. It just shows once again that you shouldn't put even beer money in projects you are not deeply familiar with.

My worst mistake was when i bought a toke  from bittrex and after some months later it got delisted from it. And it made me lost around 95% from my initial investment.
(Don't ask me which coin i've bought)

My worst investment was to listen to twitter people while buying and selling alts. And also trading view analysts who only knew how to draw a fibonacci and make up buy sell targerts
Why did I make those mistakes? Cuz I was a newbie and an idiot.
Always try to learn some technical stuff before you do investment.

I've had the worst investment in cryptocurrency when I just got to know cryptocurrency. Since most read about investing in cryptocurrency is promising so I forgot to learn about cryptocurrency. I don't know the way how to invest, I don't know the price of cryptocurrency is volatile that I know just saves money and I leave. It's not that easy, my brain always thinks about profit and promises so when bitcoin prices drop drastically and I instantly sell my bitcoin and I lose half my money. That's the worst thing I've ever done when investing in cryptocurrency, I do not want to repeat it.

I think the worst cryptocurrency investment mistake I’ve made by far was when I invested on a certain coin and it increased more than twice its amount, although I was going to withdraw the gains I then decided not to withdraw because I thought it was really a good coin and maybe I got greedy a little, thought maybe in a few years I could profit even more. But now it’s way half the price I bought it and I’m hoping once the market gets better it’d return back to the price I once bought it in.

a mistake was indeed made the lesson. my mistake was to neglect his appearance early in crypto and ignore the actual investment of all kinds are very promising. Maybe if I was interested from the beginning maybe I could have greater results in the time quickly.

maybe this is my mistake that happened last month, I invested to ico but after ico has finished, it turns ico into a scam and I can not access their site and its telegram group. this is a mistake I have made, because I am not careful in doing the research. but it's okay, because every investment must have risks. from now on we must be more thorough and always discuss before we invest in an ico.

Falling to John McAffee shill at twitter and buying Sether on ICO without researching anything about the project. It is still dipping quite hard, and since then I always do my own researches.
The biggest one is not having proper risk management on my portfolio and not cutting losses.

The worst thing that I did in investing cryptocurrencies when selling my coins at low prices.I remember last year, I have 2 BTC  and start trading in exchanger and I bought Stratis coin in low price ranging 7k sat to 8k stat, Then after I bought, the prices crash but not totally, So I decided to sell all my Stratis even I know that I'm losing, then after a few weeks the price of Stratis is skyrocketing to its all-time high.I just regret my decision to sell them all.I just learn that patience is the only key to success.

My worst mistake and nightmare was buying Ripple (XRP) in May 2017 at around 14000 sat. After that time it kept constantly going down till 1800 sat. When the market started going up I sold that damn Ripple at something like 4000 sat and fixed the losses. In a couple of weeks from that time Ripple reached 24000 sats. That mistake was unbearable.

My worst investment in cryptocurrency is an investment in the ICO Qchain. The team lured investors with false promises. ICO ended six months ago, and since then there has been no development of the project.

For me it was investing in pump and dump coins when it was at the pinnacle of its hype.

In my earlier crypto days, a lot of coins got pumped on a daily basis, and I wanted to make a profit which meant that I invested in many of them. Some paid off, but at the end, I ended up with big losses because the inevitable dump happened sooner or later.

Also, not diversifying my portfolio was a mistake that I made. I was putting all my money in one coin, and it was incredibly risky to do that.

But the biggest mistake that others made seems to be lending coins, I didn't invest but many others did, and were all left holding worthless tokens. Never ever invest in guaranteed investment schemes.

I have an error when my investment sells too fast at a low price. I should be patient to sell my investment coins at higher prices but I can not and sell in a low position when the market plummets and I lose.

My biggest mistake in that cryptocurrency was when the market fell deep and the altcoin price was low, I was overwhelmed and sold almost all the altcoin I held, and I lost a lot of money. I think I should not do this, this is just a fluctuation of the market, in the future the market will recover and grow strong. So right now, I'm starting to buy again the potential altcoin and hopefully they will bring more profit to me in the future.

I regret that at first I knew the crypto investment from cloud mining and even HYIP, a lot of money I had spent and half disappointing, but I'm not too upset because this is my best experience to choose which one is better to invest in the future, all changed for the better when I got to know this forum and I started leaving the HYIP crypto forum as soon as possible.

I make a lot of mistakes 2 years ago when I started crypto trading, bought a good number of altcoins (NXT, XMR, XRP) and sell them at 50% lost due to panic and later they increased 2x-3x. It is a hard learned experience never sell the coin in lose doesn't matter how much time you have to wait.

My worst crypto investment would be when I invested on TRX and XVG back on Jan when people was getting crazy about them. Though it was my fault as I was just getting started on crypto trading and I was afraid of FOMO so I get in on their rocket ships and after that I was left in I even hold my TRX now and for XVG already sold all of them back in March I think when it pump a little bit to cut my loses.

I made almost same mistake twice that is thinking that if a coin raises for a period time then it will raise all over the year. I thought taking profit in the middle is a bad idea but it was the complete opposite of what I thought! Lol

Mys worst mistake was not holding, it was December last year and most of the alts are going crazy due to BTC bullrun. I have sold a coin and that will be multiplied by 10x on wha I got on that day in just 7 days and I nearly cried. I could've get rich, and then later on I keep on hodling random alts, hoping to have that chance again.

I am almost havr no mistake in crypto investment. Because every time i put my money i am doin deep research about the man behind the project. And always hold for very long time. My mistake is only once when i put all my dash in cryptsy and when cryptsy get hacked im fucked up. Never put all your money on centralised exchanger. Purchased a falling coin. Do not buy something just because there is no value. You must wait for confirmation from the market that the trend has changed. identify the price confirmation that you easily recognize for example with technical analysis, before you decide to buy the coin.

My worst mistake is when I buy a coin and
when the price of coins is soaring, and I do not know if that time altcoin market will fall,
but until now I still keep the coin until the market price stabilizes, and I will sell when the price of coins
can reach the price close to my capital, at least in order to minimize the loss.

A promising coin, which eventually became a shitcoin is the doge. Also, some investments in ICO led to total losses, but I never invest in them in large quantities. Well, the rest of the small things and I do not think that changing prices in the fall is a loss, it's an opportunity to recoup in the future.

Investing in a token called Coeval, which promising 10.000 Monkey coins for the Monkey Capital ICO( which turned out to be a scam). The price of the token was 1300$ at one point, and now it doesn’t even exist anymore.
That's why i believe it's important to study a lot before you make an investment, and to not get fooled by hypes.

oh yeah, it is definitely bad idea. unfortunately holding is not the best way to earn, we need to watch closely every our coin/token and work with them all time, sell high - buy low and again. As far I understood we must act more accurately and never relax om such volatile market.

For me the worst mistake till date is keeping my 5 BTC on a shitty exchange. They scammed the coins and are can't be tracked. From that day onward I only trade on big and reputed exchanges and avoid exchanges with low volumes. I keep the majority of my holdings on a paper wallet. Also, I try to diversify my holdings on different wallets so that if anyone gets hacked, I don't lose everything.

My greatest mistakes that has make me loose money this year is investing in lisk at a very wrong time. If I said I am happy about buying lisk at $28 this January and it price is currently at $9 I am lying. I just believe that most of us make this mistake of investing into cryptocurrencies at a very wrong time this year and this has created panic and stress among the investors.

There was this altcoin that I really like. I considered it my second precious altcoin that will make my hard work on its campaign worth it. One day, I thought that it reached it's hype that I'm very eager to sell it already. After a month, it's price reached more than 20x higher  of the price when I sold it. I feel so devastated, that's it. After the fluctuations during Q1 it's price fall down to 2x of the price when I sold it. Lesson learnt on that part... Don't be always in a rush and always think thrice.

My biggest mistake was to make my major investments when market was at peak. i had hoped that market would go even stronger from here onwards but it fell directly on its face and my investments are 50% down. This is one major reason why I gave up investing in altcoins because I had invested majorly in them only and now I am trying to recover my money from every way possible.

My biggest mistake was ICO Stox (advertised Floyd Mayweather) and Kin. It was possible and to earn on them, if I sold it in time, but it happened as usual.

My worst mistake and nightmare was buying Tron  at around 1400 sats. After that time it kept constantly going down till 380 sats. When the market started going up I sold that damn trx on good price because i was bought some trx on deep. But i hate that now.

Maybe they should have copied more of SONM's white paper.

I guess my biggest mistake was to buy DNT and OAX one day before being listed on Binance, I think. Went down from there in a free fall. I then just tried to hold but nothing moved there. Was more or less new to crypto and had no idea what could happen. But well, wasn't so bad after all.
Eventually sold in a loss to avoid opportunity costs. But I actually still like DNT. Maybe will have a look at it.

The worst mistake I've ever come across is when the BTC price drops I fear and do not decide to buy them in mid-2017. But then by the end of 2017 BTC prices have risen to $ 20000. I really regret it. If I buy them, maybe by the end of 2017 I will sell and I will be rich.

Well, of course I made many wrong choices in the field of  investment which led me   to financial losses. But thanks to these failed experiences, I learned how to behave well in difficult situations and I have become earn an acceptable amount of money. In fact, it is unfortunate than many people do not deal with the truth or the situation well and blame themselves for all  errors that have taken and  they continue these mistakes because they did not learn from those experiences.

In addition to that, any loss can be compensated by a large profit, just when you make some mistakes, then you must change some things like, strategy, plan, vision..., and when this is achieved in reality, your situation will improve and become better than before. and believe me, It is very necessary to accept the biggest mistake that you have taken.

maybe BNB. I bought recently at price 12.9-13.0. I thought it would go up to 14 again. But the day of yesterday it became to red, even another altcoins are green.. and when the altcoins are red, BNB seems even more reddish. Heartbroken.

Sell my altcoins for a bargain price, somehow I find it very difficult to hold my altcoins in my wallet.
Though I have a good future plan for my altcoins in the future.

Thats almost 70% down and you do still hold ans same in my situation too on where i bought SNOV when it was on peak yet ive believe that it would go further rise even more but it was already its ATH and now im still holding my coins. bought at $0.4 and now the current price is on $0.03 which it did really make a big loss into my overall folio. For now im still holding yet i do still believe on the project.

It seems to me that this is a huge gap between the price of investment and the price for today. And this is not in your favor. Can I think about minimizing the loss?

My worst (and most consistent) mistake is not to sell low cap coins when they're on the peak. As a result I always have bags of them left, LOL. Not complaining though as they're all pure potential profit.

I had a huge mistake at the time I started to enter the cryptocurrency market, I lost 80% of my money on DGB, at that time DGB was worth nearly 3000 sts. But then the market went down a lot and I constantly bought more at lower prices but in the end I had to sell a lot. But after that I have drawn so many experiences and successes that just came to you after many times stumbling.

Bitboost makes me regret upon not selling at their 3$ peak price and look what happened now their price dump to death and they surely get a hardtime to recover their original stats. So i think i will regret for believing them and learned a lesson from that huge loss occur on that token.

Last year, I sold my money and took ten to invest in AION, which cost me dearly. Now I have only a pile of air COINS that have no value at all. This is a painful lesson.

Supposedly, saving money in the form of savings is a form of anticipation of various purposes in the short term, not in the long run. Saving money in savings is perfect for day-to-day expenses, unexpected expenses, or emergency funds.
