Well I think telegram's coin isn't a bad idea. However there is no such social coin that uses pure ethereum technology based on the latest protocol version.

As we said on the Technical improvement, our coin uses the latest version of ethereum & related dapps which make us a pure blockchain based cryptocurrency. ( And that's why we exists as a dedicated blockchain network not a token :D .

This is an interesting project.  There is apparently a plan to use premine as part of a plan to engage ETH holders. That is a good use of premine, if it brings in a huge potential user base.  They were quick to get listed on Stocks.exchange, and hopefully we will see more listings soon.  They already have Ledger and Trezor support.  I see some future, so I hope this project keeps growing...

I wish I knew/understood the plan better, but the way I understand it is that there will be a fork of ETSC that will integrate all of the ETH chain (or addresses) and give all ETH holders 1:1 ETSC for ETH that they hold AND that all of that "gift" will come from the (admittedly large) pre-mine that the dev has.  And yes, that's instant publicity and all ETH holders will then have a reason to use/trade/hold or even sell their ETSC. But that means volume and users.  And then people will see the features that devs want to integrate that make ETSC better than ETH.

I'd like to make tokens for influencers / celebrities on Instagram, Youtube, ...

It would require :

- an add-on for users to send and receive tokens. Ideally the add-on should be available for browsers like Google Chrome, Firefox and Firefox 52 (Tor). It would be fine to also have mobile apps for smartphones on Google play store and Apple store.

- the possibility for final users to send tokens for free 2 or 3 times a day, without having to buy anything. It could be done by a free rechargeable reserve of Ethereum Social, enabling 2 or 3 transactions a day. If users want to send more often, they would have to purchase some Ethereum Social.

The idea is that influencers could easily distribute tokens to their fans. Fans would just load the browser add-on or the mobile app, and they would easily receive and transfer tokens, without buying Ethereum Social except if they use the app more than 2 or 3 times a day.

Will it be possible to do such things on Ethereum Social in the near future ?

Because there are already a lot of tutorials and services offering ICOs from scratch for 5$ on Fiverr. This is insane but for a few bucks, you can start ICO on ETH blockchain. There are not so many tutorials for other cryptocurrencies because only ETH was so widely used for ICo's.

I don't see any updates or announcements from the ETSC team. This thread is slowly dying too and I don't see any activity on their social media pages. Looks scammy to me but I will like to hear your opinion on this.
