Yeah...how about some proof that anything you are saying is true.

And some details

And description of payment methods

And refund policy

And...get the point?

You forgot to mention the price Operatr, Group Buys are supposed to be a discounted price for pre-orders, 1.75BTC would be an eBay price IMO.

Payment is via Bitcoin

Delivery to myself will be within 3 days of order.

Refund policy will be created

If the group buy is not going to work out I will buy in the 10 units then resell from there but of course at a higher price.

The supplier I have got is fully genuine as used for many years for parts so I have trust in that I will get the units fast.

Hope that helps

Original price issued by supplier is 1.99BTC so ordering 10 is a fair discount. Postage on these is pretty heavy due to being 2KG a cube.

@CroverNo01

Can you give more details on how this unit is powered? I've read in few places that it is supposed to be more "consumer friendly", but I still see the PSU connectors there. There's a USB port for something... would love to just power this without using a PSU, but not really seeing anything regarding that.

Hi, You can power these using Dell Server power supplies which is cheaper than using ATX modules. to be honest these still are not much improvement from blades, To run these at overclock you need more than 15A plus the 12V supply.

USB port is for connecting to PC for mining software rather than ethernet.

Thanks much! So it seems with a easy enough solution (probably not cheap) for the power supply, you can just continue to use the mining software via the USB port. Nice feature.

wrong, for debugging and firmware updates

btw: we preordered direct from asicminer, awaiting them in the EU soon. But we dont take any preorders, only selling in hand units, as alway  :)

Have been told by supplier can be used with firmware for mining software also as you state "debugging and firmware updates" Only going by what supplier has told me.

If you could negotiate the price down to 1.2BTC including 3 day shipping I would buy one, maybe two. Considering the power usage on these (old 110nm original B.E. chips, now in a cube!) and the ever-rising difficulty, it is simply not worth anything more.

The seller selling for 1.49BTC has no more stock sadly, I have plenty units for 1.65BTC within UK and postal worldwide as well. I haven't seen any other sellers in the USA as well.

good question :)

I don't do trades on here so no feedback at all, Have a lot of posts on the AsicMiner Rigs due to my current rig always being updated.

I have 5 years trading on my ebay account so been thinking of doing a private listing for each buyer.

These don't come with power supplies, Can use a good ATX with 2x 6pin to power, for overclock has to be over 15A supported.

Soon special power supplies will be released for powering more than 2 at a time from original source.

Thanks

could you post the tracking number so some other proof that these items actually exist.

Im sure im not the only one that's been burned in the past and so far so trading history or proof these are on the way.

Dont mean to cause offense but there are so many scammers in the bitcoin community its shocking.

Hi tracking shows person information, I am not asking people to pay now, they can pay once I have in hand so I don't in any way be put under any pressure to deliver for a spec date.

Also it seems like every other seller on here is sold out.

Also regarding the price batch 2 of these will be a lot higher due to Fried Cat increasing the price by over $200, I find it very hard to belive they will sell many units.

I will keep my costs low and sell for what they should be sold for so I'm not ripping anyone off.

Thanks  :)

Not saying this is necessarily true about CloverNo01, but don't forget a LOT of UK folks got scammed by dragonvr not so long ago (me included, I lost 2BTC), when the Block Erupters came out first.  He got away with a lot...

Escrow would be advised.  Paying FIAT via Paypal/BACS is as risky as paying by BTC - you've got no come back.

I think I'd be waiting on OutCast3K's GB for these - he's the official ASICMiner distributor for the UK, and a trusted and proven supplier.

Agree,

Hopefully CroverNo01 will post some concrete proof he has them in hand before accepting payments

He has 2 listed on ebay and only accepting bank transfers so no paypal protection -

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/161154552105

Postage costs on ebay are £9.90 which seems cheap for an item that needs to be insured for £450 when shipping

At least he stated that he does not want payments before the cubes are in hand.
A scammer would take BTC regardless what is in hand. But an escrow would always be more secure, that is correct.

dragonvr said similar, said he was posting and got payment.  Then he fell off the face of the earth with a lot of BTC.

Hi, Payments I accept ONLY when I have these in hand are BTC or Bank Transfer - PayPal can be used to scam both myself and others.

As I said the day these arrive the day they will also be sent if purchases made before post office closes for the courier company if not will be sent next day.

I will upload many many photos on arrival don't worry :)

Correct have 2 listings currently on eBay rest are for sale on here. PayPal can be used to scam the seller out of money and also the product, I do not have faith in Paypal anymore.

To calculate your delivery cost 1 unit = 3KG - Box size 20cm x 20cm x 20cm These will also be placed inside bigger box for shipping but can work out a rough estimate on shipping.

Send from UK to Worldwide

To be honest getting hold of 30 Units is pretty hard even from the factory, they are hardly making any of these things and now have raised the price and don't offer discount on bulk.

Currently I would say there must be max of 150 of these devices made.

Only people I know who have physically had them instock are people in China and USA. Have to watch out main china suppliers will take money then mine with equipment for min like 8 days saying It's being processed when really they are just making money off you. Also main claim to have stock when actually they are ordering from Fried Cat China supplier and will take forever.

My supplier currently is doing everything he can to get DHL to clear from HK. Supplier paperwork yesterday for export so hopefully tomorrow will bring news off clearance.

Very frustrating if you ask me.

any idea on the price?? loking for around 30+ units at the right price

Very frustrating if you ask me.

true say , its a dirty game, forget them lets move on. we need our own stuff in the uk we are just so behind.

Update 22/11:

DHL are really being a problem now they have only just went and told me they will not due to these devices containing capacitors.
New delivery agent is being appointed as we speak and still stock should be here for the Tuesday.

Nothing ever runs smoothly these days

Cheers

Edit: Looks like it's not DHL Fault, China Customs apparently are on high alert looking out for Miners as they know the value and what they can produce. Hopefully will clear customs soon

Thanks

I don't quite see what your problem is  ??? Escrow I said can be used if you read my post also these people got direct messages from me as well.

The fact that I'm giving updates reassures people that I am still here, most my stock is now all reserved by people on here and on eBay.

I also have a job I don't live on here 24/7 I have a life

NineLives, I don't get the fuzz either... Many many MANY people selling stuff hardly ever reply or give updates. This is one of the few people I "know" who actually give regular updates about the shipping situation.
If you think he's a scam, then don't buy from him.

He already stated MUCH earlier that he'll do escrow. If people can't read through the tread it's their problem. He also stated pickups are no problem.

So chill bill, go hate somewhere else.

No offence to Outcast but you will be waiting a pretty long time for stock. As Out needs to get his stock from yxt and yxt needs to get his stock from china and china is not allowing anything though it's customs.

I say nothing will be going out till mid Dec but due to Christmas post I say early 2014

Dont mind the wait, Outcast is known in bitcointalk community and has more experience as a reseller, and excepts escrow and collections.

at the moment waiting on a few from America so not fussed..

If this is the case, then there should be a DHL tracking number available.  Do you have it?
China has no reason to do what you say.  There maybe an import tax at the destination country but I've never heard of one on the export side in China.  This is all very strange to say the least.

could you post the tracking number so some other proof that these items actually exist.

Thanks  :)

Cant you just edit out the personal info and show the tracking info departing from supplier and heading this way

I want to know where you're getting this: "China Customs apparently are on high alert looking out for Miners as they know the value and what they can produce".  FUD.

Direct quote from Bitman ALSO a china factory producing Asic Miners
"I had to deal with Chinese Customs to get the miner out of China.  They knew exactly what the miner is and what can do and how much values it holds.  (Just the computer parts won’t work with the Chinese Customs.  Let’s get them do all the paperwork and procedural things taken care of instead of running the fire-sale and then the sales get canceled due to the technical and regulatory reasons.  This week, the Chinese Customs were on very High Alert for the digital goods being brought in and out of China."

Also other companys that are selling the Cube are now saying on there listings on hold due to customs!

I need not sell on here if it's all this hassle accused of scam, I'm more than happy to take my stock elsewhere.

People jump so fast to conclusions on here!

I think you will find that my prices are very competitive, to buy these now from Fried Cat is over $900 without shipping.

I'm not going to raise my price to the current rate and will offer at what I bought them at.

Sound fair to me, No need to over charge for these.

As I said I will update tomorrow once I get news from the shipping company as DHL are refusing to clear the units from Customs.

Unless I hold a UK VAT ID then I can't use DHL, EMS rate is over the roof but hopefully Fedex or UPS will pull through tomorrow.

yes, there's an export tax in china. Suppliers only get away when shipping single units. Been dealing with them for a few years and they all cry about that

I am sure yourself you will be well aware of the current price to buy these units @ todays rate.
It’s just simply not worth it as who wants to pay that amount for a unit that will never ROI.
The rate I bought mine at has a very good chance to ROI and will ROI at current price I sell for.
When you were selling yours for 2BTC others were selling for 1BTC and 1.49 or 1.75 Max
The competition is great but you need to have good stock which simply no one currently has.

I dont think its a case of "haters"

Just people applying due diligence, many people have been scammed in the past and trying their best to avoid a repeat.

I wouldn't take it to heart, people aren't calling you a scammer just being cautious and if all goes well will help future trades.

this does not sound like a scam at all.

i do not know croverno01 at all but just from the way he writes it sounds legitimate.

he also accepts escrow so there is no real risk

the only other person i have seen giving so many updates was augusto croppo

Cool :)

Maybe Ive missed it, but do you have any information regarding how many units you'll be receiving and how many are reserved/ordered?
I kinda have a feeling you'll get less than people want. How will you handle that? In chronological order in terms of showing interest? (seems most fair) Or something like you'll just state "they're now here, X units availble" and use a first come first serve from that moment on?

Can let me know if anyone is interested

As always will post updates as I get them :)

Keep you posted folks :)

ok, so I see there is an issue. u not taking payment untill their r in hand. people trying reserving some but u keeping quiet hi many u reserved and how many left. this is nit the way this should go like that. how should I know how.many left. no offence but doing such thing seems u want more people ask for it than u can supply. I'm interested but this smell fishy. maybe make.list of people who reserved and rest and add that units gone or something.  I'm not gonna sit in front of pc for another week to be one of first paying for it.

let me know how u see it.

Hi,

Problem I have is my list of people that have emailed is huge, my stock level is limited and have already sold a few on my eBay.

I will arrange a list and maybe the best thing will be is a raffle ? put all names into raffle generator and get winner that way ?

or auction based ?

Any ideas ?

Cheers

There were a lot of discussions in this thread the last days.
To do a raffle is not a bad idea but in the end it is your decision. I would also understand if you start an auction. Of course you will earn more than selling them for a fixed price as for the raffle. So this might allow you to reinvest that money to order more cubes (if possible) so that more people can get them on the next order. It might be fair to note those people trying to buy a cube in this order and maybe you can ask them first for buying the next charge.

As I said before, there was also a lot of flaming in this thread and there will also be flamers however you decide to distribute them. So just do as you like. If your decision is a raffle please add my name to the lottery ticket ;-)

raffle? for me now become obvious that:

a. u not serious about all this, because if u was this should be sorted long time ago.
b. this is really scam and someone gonna have weird face once this is finished.

I'm out. u not serious person and that's why I rather put my money with someone like.outcast.

thanks

Think you will find that you are completely wrong, a raffle can be used if there is limited stock and huge amount of people wanting. Seems a fair way to do it,

Auction could also be used as previously mentioned as good way to reinvest into getting more cubes BUT I have to admit the price to buy these now in from fried cat is unreal high.

Unless the price comes down I will not be getting anymore in.

Will put some thought into how I will sell these either via auction based or raffle.

Thanks

The price from Fried Cat has not changed. The fact you say it has shows me that you are not ordering from Fried Cat, you are ordering from taobao.com. This is why you lied about your order being detained in Hong Kong customs due to the officials looking for mining equipment (ridiculous) and basically stalling this group buy as much as you can.

The prices on taobao have been put up to a huge amount but this is not because the price of Cubes has increased, it is because the sellers on that site are out of stock and do not want anyone to place an order. When they have stock, the prices will return to the normal ¥2250, which is about £200

The reason the sellers on taobao do not have any stock is because Fried Cat is sending all the Cubes that are being manufactured to his official resellers.

I know this because I have been in communication with the sellers on taobao with the view to making an order of my own, the difference is I wouldn't mislead people on a group buy by making promises to them before I had my stock in-hand.

I don't think you are scamming people but you are definitely misleading them.

You are completely incorrect with what you have said there, I bought mine from an official fried cat reseller in China. I would not buy from taobao even when instock which is like never, I have spoken to many suppliers both on Alibaba and Aliexpress. They all tell me they never got stock yet, I have then went to official supplier and got limited stock at good rate. Since the bitcoin price has increased the price of cube also went up.

This is why when I got my stock it came from ASICMINER factory in HK. My stock will be in hand this week so there is no problem with possible further next week :)

Once BTC settles down so will the prices

Raffle is SO unfair. There are people here who are following your process from the moment you posted it. They already said they'll buy from you.
Then some other guy pops in just now and says "yay ill take one" and of course he'll win the raffle. Unfair to it's max.

I would go through your emails and this forum post, make a full list on chronological order when people said "i'll buy from you" and then just start delivering from the top. Yes this will take time, but that's what comes with starting a groupbuy :)

Make a fixed price so there is no discussion about that. Give people like 3-5 days to pay and sort things, if they don't make it, on to the next one. BTC is a fast market and people should know it.

I don't see how any other option can be more fair than the above.

I'm sorry if DHL and customs are not as fast and you want them to be but do you see any other supplier with stock ? NO that's because they all have the same problem, just takes times to get clearance.

Going to go with this and sort through emails and listings make a list then work from there, and sorry people that email me with blackmail to get a cube is not going to work either.

Evening folks got some good news and bad news, good that they arrived today and all are working fine. Bad news is that it's not the right qty I was after.

There seems to be a mistake in the shipping of how many was needed and only have received 5 rather than the 15, They might come maybe tomorrow I dunno as I was given 1 tracking number.

Will need to contact the supplier but since it's now friday I won't get a reply till Monday Sadly.

It's going to make it a pain for me to a group sale for everyone as I have got 5 units 2 are which are already sold.

I think the best option would be to auction these off and raise funds for my batch#2

I know many people will be angry with me but nothing much I can do about it till monday.

I have 2 hashing away fine but can't seem to run on high on the 750w just cuts out, other is running on the 650w

It would appear that CroverNo01 is just messing everyone around on here and has just listed them on ebay -

I think he got tempted too much by the high prices on eBay.

He said here he'd sell them for something like 465+35 shipping (somewhere along those lines) and on eBay he's currently getting 700 to 900... so yeah, that's probably the reason.

I can understand it somewhere, it's quite some extra money he's getting there, but yeah, at the same time, he should've thought of that before making this "groupbuy"

Kid who borrowed his Dad's credit card TBH.

Fair play to him if he's getting a quick buck, but leading people on in this forum wasn't a good thing to do - if he was offering the Cubes here, he should have offered them.  Not leading some people on then selling them on Fleabay.

i thought this was him on ebay..

at first he seemed like a genuine reseller
then the childish response sort of put me off.

plus "i only recieved 5 so im changing my options as im making more money on ebay"

i googled the address given by ebay... it shows a "bed and Breakfast"
maybe im looking at the wrong address but that just closed the deal.

Buy from official resellers or people with history and stock in hand.

£33.60 for postage to UK to UK!
What a looser and muppet, tried even scammed on postage charge. Really this guy is a joke
Ebay charge 10% from sale price plus paypal 2.9% and postage in this instance cost only 9.90?

His postage here is 36.6gbp on ebay,SCAMER?:

Look there it is £33.96 I dunno about you but I know who is laughing now and who just got owned in the face.

Raising money for the new group buy which is being created as we speak :) List of previous reserves already on list and have send out messages to all users that have asked :)
Response is great from the people on here that I have sent a message to and will start the group buy next week :) Stock here before Christmas :)

Anyway had fun reading over your comments past day while this was down accusing me of scammer when I have taken ZERO money from anyone on here  :D  :D
I can tell by a few of the posts here that use's must be kids with the way you act.

Anyway if you did not receive a message from me just pop me a message and you will be added to the list  :)

Cheers

Perhaps you could create a new thread for the 2nd groupbuy. Take a look at the other groupbuys and see how the're set up.
My advise is to make clear rules in the main post and stick to them. Things like payment options, other numbers like amount ordered by you, expected delivery, things like that.

Also for yourself you might want to think of some "What if...."
Like;

What if the shipment is (very) late
What if BTC price drops/raises large amounts
What if I don't get enough cubes
What if people want to pay via paypal/bank/western union/cash/etc

If you want to (re?)gain more trust you'd do well to make these what if's public in the main post so everybody can decide for themselves if they want to participate or not

To be fair, writing out your reply using text speak and capitals instead of fully formed English sentences, doesn't make you sound that mature either.

Anyway, I must learn not to feed them! Toodles...

If you really annoyed with my way of writing i suggest maybe use button IGNORE.
As i do understand where your comments come from, i will try use better language in the future just to make people like you happy.

Please forgive me for lack of knowledge and grammar in my sentences once again.

Got 8 units currently on the way, I paid a fair bit extra for these at the time due to higher BTC price

Selling for £1100 Each or @ todays rate 2BTC = £1100 Includes free shipping via courier.

Please see photos below of my last stock.

If no buyers they will be listed on eBay to go for what every higher or lower I will take the risk.

Cheers

Thanks

Sorry to hijack but 220GH/s will be available in a few weeks on MiningHardware.co.uk

Miners start from AROUND £2,800 and delivery takes around 2 weeks NOT a few months.

This is a legit site in the UK from a retail shop with contact numbers and collection is available etc.

PM me for more details if you wish.

This website you claim or business has yet to be proven of stock or anything.

I have in hand 439Gh/s worth of stock to sell.

This is pretty powerful and will add to an already existing setup or new one.

Complete kit as well

Hi, I am not saying you are scammer or anything I wish you all best of luck of sale and when proven even myself will be a buyer.

Sorry my total mining hardware I have for sale = 439Gh/s parts can overclocked to 470Gh/s with little mod.

This would be a huge start up buy if only sold to 1 person but I am happy to sell off parts of hardware but keep the 10 blades as a buy together as they come with backplane and custom PSU with 95% efficiency also network hubs and cables.

Hello sorry for the delay, Sadly this is only for 1 unit :( I am selling each cube with its own PSU as well include in the price.

When I bought them from fried I paid at a higher rate and sadly I can't sell cheaper or I will be at huge loss.

I am barely breaking even, but still all part of the fun of bitcoin
