This is my first job in joining cryptocurrency specifically the bounty programs. As suggested by my friends that joining bounty program will let me earn reward tokens. However, seeing also an airdrop in the bounties altcoin section made me think of its worth of joining in airdrop. I came to a thread for airdrop and it seems that they are only requiring you to do simple task and you were able to get the tokens that they promised. Now i have the interest on them but i still have some doubts about it if is worthy to join airdrop. Do you have any idea guys or experience about its worth on joining airdrop?

In my opinion, Bitcoin Signature Campaign is more worth it rather than wasting your time in Airdrops. It seems that airdrops now rarely give payments to those who join compared to last year. (Based on the reply in a thread, sorry if I don't have the source.) Although you can still try if you want to But, be careful not to get scammed. In Bitcoin Signature Campaign, you can have your payment weekly for at least 4 weeks.

Depends on the airdrop of course, I've heard some of them don't even give the coins.

But if it's an actually good airdrop, then yeah go for it.

Sometimes worth it sometimes not, some tokens in airdrop goes to shitcoin and others are good. Its really worth it to join in bounty campaigns like signiture, social media,translation campaigns and you can earn a good profit depends on your bounty you've joined.

Yep, all projects (bounty or airdrop) are potentially good. But on the same manner, all are potentially bad.
So be extra careful in which project to participate and spend time on.
Lately I have joined in two (2) airdrops and they are managed by trustworthy and proven managers backed by excellent dev team.
And I find it worthwhile and beneficial at the same time. It was a wise decision to join in those projects.

It is a hit or miss. Some airdrops are legit some are not. It is hard to count on these mechanisms and I urge you to always check the background of the company.

I think It is not worth joining airdrops, but you can join a few legit ones, if you can find some good projects. I have participated a lot of them over the past six months, but most of them haven't rewarded tokens. In fact, most of them turned out to be fake. So, I believe It is a complete waste of time and effort in joining airdrops.

I have joined like 5-6 airdrops and did benefit from them, not in any exaggerated sense. Some of them was straight out scams where they just collected peoples personal information like email etc.. But, few projects like Bitcoin White gave me about 1500 tokens/coins which I actually sold for 150$ - not much, but considering that I got it for free - it is worth.

Like some other members said, there isn't any need of huge effort to join an Airdrop, some require you to have ETH balance in your wallet, so I would say give it a shot.

If this does not bother you, you can participate in many Airdrops. Maybe someday you'll be lucky, and the price will be pleasantly surprised. In most cases, coins are useless or they have a very low price.

To be honest most of the airdrops are just scams so you are going to waste your time if you joined in the wrong airdrops but not all are scam some might be real and legit too.Do some research about the project before joining on it if you think it looks legitimate then join and hope the tokens you are rewarded will have good value.

Yes it is worth it to join airdrops. Why would you not care to join an airdrop that is currently happening? Still, even you can gain only a little, it is still free. It is not necessary to join all but I think for me, just to ensure you can get something, join many airdrops as you can. There maybe scam projects but the odds of getting a good project is still good.

Airdrop joining is a Waste of time because many scam projects are comes in the market so better we should avoid these kind of Airdrops. But few peoples are spend more time to analyse the good Airdrops it is not suit for me. If you really like to joining in various Airdrops you can try this otherwise just avoid in Airdrops.

I remember good old time where joining airdrop was very nice job to do. Now ? no its not worth, cause to many new project come everyday some of them not even have a official website and whitepaper.

If this is a good airdrop, then it's worth joining.  You will spend a little time, but there is a small chance to get a good number of coins.

You should get a real job. Bounties are more of an incentive not a job.
I don't do airdrops but base on what I can see from the experience of others, there are airdrop claimers who are successful with the coin that they took. The highest profit that I've read whom he shared his experience on social media was around $10,000 and it's just all about airdrop. But today, too many fake airdrops that are turning to a scam so you have to be a vigilant.

I joined the airdrop, just filling my free time to be useful. about the income that I get from the results follow airdrop, whether it's big or small results I'm still grateful. the most important thing is the process of what I do, because I am still learning and still need guidance from the experienced.

I believe there are some airdrop that are actually worthwhile, the only challenge is that can never if they will be worth while at the point of registration until the outcome yield result. There was an overhype airdrop I participated in that I even had to undergo kyc to be eligible at the end of the day it was not worth the whole stress, so you never can tell until it yielded good result.

It is worth it when you're not joining blindly. Join there, join here until your post history becomes all of those phrases. I don't expect that much in airdrops, unless the supply of the coins made by the project were really a lot or excess from their minimum. It  could be worth your while but never really rely on those always. You could've wasted your time on such shitty coin sometimes.

Minimal experience and I would argue it is a complete waste of time. Don't bother unless you want to earn pennies, seriously you could pan handle and make more money on the streets than you can going for airdrops.

If the project is good, then of course you need to participate, though the payment there is not big. In general, good airdrop from good projects is a rarity.

Everyone loves free stuff!!! Airdrop is really a good way to earn free tokens. An airdrop is a free gift of coins. This is commonly done as a marketing scheme — kind of like a free trial to entice you to get more or tell your friends. I'm not serious about airdrops since it's not worthy of me. Airdrops maybe worthy only in some poor countries.

Nowadays it becomes worthless to participate in Airdrop. However, there are plenty of bounties to participate in and in my opinion the bounty that managed by ranked members of forum, is worth to participate. However, many ICOs become scam and some bounty managers also got scammed by company(what i came to learn in Techspecs bounty). I always try to participate in bounty which managed by legendary member and update stakes regularly and give good amount of token.

I often participate in bounty campaigns, I prefer a Signature campaign. When there is free time, I participate in Airdrops. All the same it is an easy way to earn some money.

I would not spend time in your place on the airdrops. They bring very little money, and there are no guarantees of payment. Better focus your time on bounty investment and trading campaigns.

I see a lot of airdrop that not all can give us an advantage but if you have plenty of time after working on a signature or bounty it would not hurt to follow an airdrop because it's really very easy and simple it does not take much time

I joined in many airdrops and it is worth it to gain small amount of token that giveaway but some other airdrops are scam you must ask to your friends if the airdrops is legit or research in the bounty section.

As i know at the moment it is not so profitable to join airdrops, because they send only low value coins. Maybe soon this will change .

Last autumn it was the best way to join airdrops:)Had experience in EXRN,eBTC,ELTCOIN etc.
But now a lot of airdrops`ll never enter exchanges,there are too much non-future projects which offer airdrop.
So check only perspective projects and carefully choose bounty campaigns

Some airdrop are worth thousands of dollar like ont , ont gives 1000 coin as a Airdrop and ont launched with 11 dollar peak value , so follow good projects and do good airdrops :)

Depends only to the airdrop you were joining cause many airdrops now are spreading just to fool somebody,mostly theybare fond just to hurt someone's feelings.,so we must select and do some research also for you not to be scammed.

Depends of what airdrop you want to join , there are thousands of airdrop in the world and a lot of them are not giving you a lot of coins and if they do , that coins its not worth so much . I have joined a few months ago at one airdrop and i made 1500 of iost   , the price of iost was 0,050$   at the start of ico and in just a few weeks the price had grew  up to 0,13 $  . And yes , my answear is yes , it is worth to join airdop becouse you never know whats gonna happen with that ico , maybe its gonna grow up to a dollar or maybe to 100$ , you never know. You need to join airdrop as many as you can and you will make over 100$ in a few months or weeks . Thats what i do , i made a lot of profit from airdrops in this year . Like i sad , there are so many airdrops , a lot of them are having succes , if you join just one of them you can make  a lot of profit my friend.

I think the era of airdrops has gone. Or maybe it was only the first wave of profitable airdrops, but I believe in the first point of view(it is over).
Airdrops were very hyped because it was free marketing for projects, simple actions to gain reward in crypto - what can be better. But some time passed and now airdrops don't send coins, or even turns out scam that just promote groups.
Bounty is better way to be rewarded. You do the job and get paid. But compare to usual job you receive reward not in fiat. It is good because it is impossible when fiat in your wallet get increased by itself. In crypto it can.
But same way it is not better because it can decrease same way. But if you remember what you did to receive these tokens - you understand that this is ok. If you are not so lazy of course :D

Most of Airdrops now can bring you 1-10$, so it doesn't worth it. But you can apply for all whitelists and pass KYC for very promissing projects with huge hype. Sometimes they deny ICO and make Airdrop instead of it. And they can send you good amount of tokens. Like Ontology for example.

Participating in the airdrop campaigns requires little effort but also the reward, when you receive, in most cases is modest. I also add the fact that there are many airdrops that do not pay anything, so I think only participate in airdrop campaigns of quality platforms or with known bounty managers. Much better, if you have some time available, participate in the bounty campaigns

right now participate on airdrop we can say that not worth it, if you have bitcointalk account with high rank, you can try to participate on signature campaign thats good if compare to participate on airdrop, because right now airdrop just make you wasting your time

Sometimes but it depends on the project ,which is if the project is successful or the team behind is trustworthy,  'cause honestly most airdrop nowadays turn to shit after the deadline , lol so it depends actually and indeed no one can determine which is good and fake.

For my personal experience airdrops are just wasting time. In the past I joined several aidrops, most did not pay me, from the few who paid me I received only a few tokens of little value. My advice, if a person wants to earn tokens, is to participate in the bounty campaigns

Some airdrops are good, but most of them are worth very little (a few $), and quite a few never even reach market.

One thing to be wary of is those that want personal information. Some say they are complying with KYC, which might genuinely be the case, but I don't think it is sensible to give personal details, passport info etc just in the hope of getting a few $ worth of tokens. It is way too much of a risk.
Also be wary of those scams that ask for your private key. Never ever give away your private key.

At some point in time it worth to me, but now I'm more into bounty. Because there, scam happens much rarely in compare to airdrops. But some people make good money off it.

Each bounty program provides for airdrop. Anyone can follow it (airdrop), so there is no doubt to follow airdrop or bounty program. The benefits to be gained through airdrop are smaller than the bounty campaign. So I suggest to you to join bounty program.

In my own insight joining airdrop is worth joining because it is an easy money. You will just fill up forms and wait for a week you already receive a token but some airdrop is not good. I think if you want to earn you will join bounties at the same time you will join airdrop as well. Make airdrop as a sideline and bounties as your job.

I have never participated in airdrop, but I'm sure that I have lost a bit, because it's not rare that coins or tokens simply choke the wallet and sell them is difficult because many do not rise in price above one dollar..

Most airdrops in question are scam - that's true. But don't be fooled! Their point is to attract as many followers to Telegram/Facebook/Twitter as only possible (as a matter of course participation in airdrops requires following the aforementioned channels).

Most often, the airdrop does not cost a cent. Collecting them is more fun than earning. Of course there are exceptions. As a method of promoting airdrop became less effective with the current number of users.

airdrop opportunity is good , specially to those people who havent yet capital in trading , or to invest in an ICO. airdrop is free to all crypto users and we all can benefit to this.

Of course airdrop doesnt cost anything because airdrop is meant to be a giveaway ( free giveaway ) they give tokens in order for them to get discovered or some people will maybe invest on them if ever their project is promising or seems to be catchy to the public. Overall , it is not really worth it to join an airdrop because most of the tokens that you will get are probably useless or dont have a value because they cant be listed on any exchanges because they maybe shady.

I have not participated in any airdrop but some members shared their good experiences here. I remember reading a thread here where a member got tokens worth $2500 in 3 months.

i think airdrop  joining is not worth right now rather you can join bounty signature campaign  its always give you high return . because most of the ico company signature campaign reward always high so u can easily earn some passive money .

Probably it was better before but recently i just think it’s not worth to waste your time for airdrops. For me i’m not lucky enough to find a good one so no need to waste my time..

In my experience airdrops have not been very profitable but then there are some people who claim to get huge profit from airdrops. I wouldn't waste my time on it as its time consuming and you may gain something or nothing as people are standing in line to cashout their free coins. For you, there is only one way to find out.

The role of airdrops is to give project propaganda free publicity to rally and let more people pay attention to it, so give your knowledge some temptation with little or no value, but you can't count on it and bring you good Return? Think of it more.

We must not waste our opportunity to join those such bounties/airdrops because we can earn from them some amounts and earnings (like as a freebies/giveaways) so we came to a point that we must join all those airdrop posted everyday and take no hassle. If the airdrop doenst required you a kyc, it is worth it to joined. You dont have to do anything, just fill-up and do a simple task then you can get a free token direct onto your wallet as they announce,  why not isnt. Some airdrops can be worth it. I did a REBL airdrop for 2000 REBL that were worth $ 200 at some point. But these results are far from the norm...

Yes, you can join the airdrops. Free coins are really distributed to all comers. But I will give you 2 councils. First, do not give your main mail, as there will be a lot of spam, and create a separate purse for the airdrops. It will be a lot of coins worth $ 0.3 .... maybe $ 3. Do not clog your main wallets.

joining airdrop is good, you dont have to invest because it is actually free. it is worth if the airdrop is gonna pay you, but most of the airdrops now are not worth to be part with.

I think it is just a wast of time because most of the airdrops are scam or reward us with useless tokens so it will be better to do bounties because it is more profitable than airdrops but if you have free time that you can spend for doing airdrops while doing other crypto related earnings then there is nothing wrong in trying that but you need to do research about the project before joining on them.

4 months ago I did the airdrop, it was make profit, but when the number of users increased 10 times, it became not interesting for me. Because earnings became minimal

Absolutely NOT worth joining and even looking for an Airdrop. First of all people are giving out pennies worth of tokens / coins that too could get even lower at the time of exchange listing. Best to invest (even in small amounts) in new tokens / coins when they get listed subject to you buy at right price.
If you have no money to invest start with hunting bounties but only by reputed bounty givers.

Airdrop is a way to earn sections that are often simple and easy, just be patient. But I did very little to drop shipments by telegram or twitter or facebook. There are too many scams around the airdrop.

Nope as far as i know these free airdrop tokens have less chances of getting listed in the coinmarket cap or atleast to exchanges which is why you shouldnt be wasting your time and effort to participate these drops.You could do worthy things than this,join bounty campaigns because you wont waste your time and effort with these bounties if you have picked the legit ones,because most of these bounty campaigns are scams and you should do a lot of research before joining.

In general i dont think joining airdrops is much profitable, if you do them all than maybe you find one in 100 that might pay off, but on the other hand its not much work to do it a 100 times to get that one that is worth it, so yeah if you find it interesting than go ahead, i dont much :)

of course it depends on the airdrop reward, if the requirement to get a reward on the airdrop is only trivial of course you follow it but if it is difficult and get a small reward, better not because it will waste your time.

No it's not, although the tasks required are simple but you need to join a lot of airdrops in order to earn a lot of tokens that can be sold for some money. And the effort it takes to join a lot of airdrops is quite big, almost the same as bounty, the difference is you can get higher payout from bounty rather than praying that the tokens you got from airdrops have value. Airdrop is not worth the time especially if they need your private information in order to send the token.

To help your tokens increase of type then airdrops the best for you. It can help you to collect more coins that you want but make your in your ways that don't ever try to join in airdrop that asking for your private key and email. Avoid that kind of airdrop.

Well, think for yourself. What is the probability of earning an acceptable amount of money for free? It's like bitcoin faucets

for me dont just waste your time doing airdrops. 4 out of 5 airdrops right now is just a scam. they just gathering information about your account. or just simply gaining followers for their twiiter or telegram account. it is better to focus in bounty campaign and signature campaign.  but always remember before joining airdrops, social media or signature campaign always check white paper, ratings and who's the member of the team.

Air drop is  ok since you don't have anything to do aside fro registration and you get free coins. But some of the airdrops don't have significant value yet, so you need to wait if those coins could be used or not. But since it's free, there's no harm in doing air drop.

No it is not worth to join air drops today because some are just a scam and fake links , the best thing to do is just focus on working in bounty campaigns because you will surely earn a decent amount of payout after the end of ico sale.

If this is a really good airdrop that promises to pay a good amount then of course that you need to participate. Of course, many airdrops are not worth the attention and pay very little, but there are those that can bring you good money.

You never know which airdrop is legit so there are two options; either participate in all or start reading and checking the details to determine if is a scam or not. I prefer the first and i don't even care providing some data to scammers.

I was lucky when I followed the air flow, did a little work and got a free token. so there's nothing wrong with you following the airflow when nothing has to be done. though sometimes it just fills your wallet unusable.

what makes you think not worth joining the airdrop. airdrop is also good, although the results obtained are smaller than the bounty. but airdrop is great for filling your vacancy time to make it more useful. playing airdrop can increase your income even though a little remain grateful. I also play airdrop. not the result I think, but the process and the benefits I receive when playing airdrop.

It is worth to join some airdrops to find out your own attitude. Plenty of them are scam, and only some are worthy. To make some profit You'll need to join too many of them if You have spare time.

You can be sure of one thing, any airdrop demanding for your personal info was probably setup to accomplish nothing else and a good number of them would end up selling the database to third parties and that can explain where and how some scammers readily come into people's personal data. Caution and attention to details becomes the way forward.

I think airdrop is an easy way to get different tokens. It is really easy and does not take much time, but since among airdrop recently a lot of fraud, it is worth thinking about what is worth doing? There are a lot of inconsistencies with airdrops and many even reported high incidence of scam.

Most of the airdrop now has a referral program for you to earn more token. It is worth it if you have a lot of referred people and if you know if the airdrop is scam or not

very worth joining in airdrop because now airdrop give free profit to the participants, but we must be careful with airdrop because a lot of airdrop that do fraud and now a lot of airdrop popping up. so be careful.

As I mentioned many times before, it is obviously completely worth it to join airdrops since you literally simply fill in forms and stand to gain nothing or some profit and won't lose anything at all. If you naively give away your private keys, download fishy wallets etc, you will end up losing money which is completely on you. Airdops are worth joining. Apart from some bounties that allows low participants, I don't think bounties reply pay well these days. But for Airdops like tesnet and other related airdrops, I think the are worth joining, I recently participat in MON Protocol airdop on Memeland stakeland which I didn't spend a dime on. Just few retweets and I was given a good reward bigger than most bounties.

It depends, let's say that an airdrop is always something earned even if it's worth little and if the project is legal and lasts over time you have to be careful if the registration is easy and if they don't ask for sensitive data such as the private keys of a wallet or even the KYC in those cases forget it regardless

I believe this thread was made years back and as of that time 2018  I don't know how well airdrop has been doing or how popular it is then but I believe that this days there are a lot of airdrop that is worth joining or worth participating on but there are also some that is not worth joining. One is suppose to know the team's target and plan before joining any airdrop cause, that will help one stay away from scam project I mean scam airdrop but sometimes it is difficult to detect a project that will do well and the ones that won't do well, we should be careful on the airdrop we join in older not to get scammed, waste our time and energy.

Well we were allowed to make some nice profits form the air drops. I do think there is some projects with air drops that does pay in tokens we can sell for bitcoin.

But I think it is hr to find those ones. The tokens this new air drops to have we can not sell them on the exchanges. This is why there is so many of them to pay us in tokens we can not use for fiat.

I think airdrops are a hit or miss type of thing. Sometimes they are scams or of no value at all. But the way I see it, you can never tell unless you try. This is directed towards the Tap mining airdrops like TON. But yeah overall, scam or not, I think it's worth a try if you do not dish out any sort of money from your end. Just my two cents  :)
