I am in a middle of confusion right now of what kind of crypto i am going to invest. And i am planning to invest more than 50,000 PHP (Philipine Peso). With the money that is ready i am still in the confusion of what crypto to invest. Bitcoin was the originally my favorite to invest and i am a little bit worried with the current percentage of bitcoin price while ether has almost double now its price from its fall down to more or less 300 USD ether now gone to almost 600 USD. If i have 50,000 that time maybe my money now goes to 100,000 PHP if i invested in ether. But still bitcoin is more popular and i guess in the month of BER from SEPTEMBER - DECEMBER i am speculating that bitcoin will surge again. SO which is which crypto to invest? ETHER ? or BITCOIN?

I chose ether over bitcoin, cause every ICO created these day accept it as payment method and that token is created in ethereum smart contract. Beside that bitcoin price movement is kinda hard to tell, everytime i buy it goes down lol.

I prefer both, Bitcoin and Ethereum is good for long term investment. If you are confused you can divide it into two parts, Bitcoin 50% and Ethereum 50%. and I think that is the best choice.

I like bitcoin better, but also trade ether. If bitcoin goes down hard ether usually follows him.
Because everybody starts selling everything. Bitcoin still dictates trends.

Ether still a good option . And also consider EOS and NEO . because these three are blockchain solutiomn . NEO is attracting more projects even NEx decentrelised exchange going to launch . EOS mainnet going to launch some where between June . Ethereum still 90% of token in coinmarketcap ethereum based erc20 token . these platforms having real usecase.

All depends on your choice and your own capital, if you have a lot of money and can afford to buy BTC is not wrong you buy because BTC has its own market and can be a long-term investment and the price tends to be exchanged, but if you only able to buy some ETH is good for investment because ETH has a good interest in the market, let alone ETH currently has the potential to go to the moon.

If you want luck in the future, then buy and hold both. I think bitcoin and ethereum have a lower risk than you should invest in other alt.

personally i would invest in ETH, his growing potential is better than BTC, ot i  woudl go for BCH which has great futur to my opinion

My opinion you invest both Bitcoin and Erhereum , right now maybe the price little bit low but if you wait until July or August , maximum end of this year the price will sky rocket .

Bitcoin is the best platform But I would like to suggest the Both the coin because these two coins are trusted platform so I allocate 50/50 percent in these two Coins. It is more secure platform in long term investment at the same time little risk in short term investment. Totally best profitable platform in Crypto market.

So better choose both,thats what i did when i was starting i dont wanna choose instead I bought them both and luckily after just a six months i already gain more than 100% profit .but now in this dip im affected because i hold still annever withdraw even a half so im waiting for another growth

You do not confuse yourself mate. I see the people invested on various cryptos from your country. If you go to local section you may get the assistance from the Filipinos itself.
Personally I suggest you to invest on NEO, NEM, EOS and IOTA. I believe these coins have the big potential in the market mate.
If you invest on bitcoin also you will be able to get the profit on it accordingly.

Now I would choose an ethereum because the market is now good and better to invest in Ethereum than Bitcoin

In the long term, both are the right choice but perhaps the BTC attracts more attention than the ETH. Whether you invest in ETH or BTC, I think the results will be the same. If I were a friend, I would decide to invest in ETH

Bitcoin looks good than ether right now consider about bitcoin is a little bit slow compared to ethereum chart. But remember it's the mother of cryptocurrency and anytime it can go to the moon. It may better for you to divide your amount into ether and bitcoin. And you can take all of the advantages from both of major coins. I could say that's the only best choice right now.

maybe if my opinion, i would choose to invest in ethereum because i think ethereum will give more profit as possible. but if you feel confused it may be better to divide two, 50% for ether and 50% for bitcoin.

if I were you I would divide my capital, I would allocate how much capital to buy bitcoin and how much capital to buy ethereum, because I saw when bitcoin price moves up, the price of ethereum will also tend to up, even though with different percentages of price increases.

I would prefer the ETH. I think its price will be soon the moon in future and it will give you a huge profit in future.IF you have a doubt so then I suggest you have to invest in these coins NEO, BTC & LITECOIN

for myself I prefer Ethereum to be able to hold Ethereum for another year because of the possibility that the price of Ethereum will rise again next year although Ethereum is now dropping drastically.

When you are pertaining on a short period of time possible 2x investment then ETH will give you that opportunity yet Bitcoin cant already give that kind of profits considering into its current price.Investing in bitcoin isnt bad either yet we do know its potential but come to think that ETH do really have that potential too. Short term profits might be achieved but if you dont like the waiting game then you can trade actively.

Both BTC and ETH are good project and worth investing in. I suggest you to spilt your investment among the two coins. In this case, you diversify investment risks too.

For longer period of time and you plan to hold then accumulate BTC on your wallet, but if you wish to purchase some token on ICO while waiting for it price to boom to the moon, then I suggest ETH. But if you really are confuse on what to buy between them them make it half-half then.

If I have enough capital for investment I would choose to invest in bitcoin and ether (70% bitcoin, 30% ether). This two giant coin will definitely increase on this coming September to December. Both coins are good and potentially have a chance to get higher than before.

Of course I prefer to fully invest in bitcoin and with this coin having a great value and you can gain more profit on this coin. Etherium have a great value though bitcoin is greater among all. I would prefer with this because it is proven that most of the people here received the benefits coming from the bitcoin. Being highly volatile of the price of the bitcoin is only his characteristics and it is normal that the price will goes low and up. Be patience if you invest in this coin foryour better future.

They are both good on both ways. Bitcoin right now is much cheaper and oversold already while Ethereum could jump very high coz they will switch to casper protocol or Proof os stake Algorithm. I think bitcoin is a good buy at this moment.

Invest in both. But Ether has more room for growth since the price is considerably low at this point. So I would suggest to invest a bigger portion of your fund in Ether because it is more likely for it to double in value in a shorter period. Ethereum will give a very good chance but it will not so high as you said. I expected the doubled on its price after POS protocol.  But remember the cheap coin like remme can give you more than it. The marketcap is only not more than 10 millions. There is a lot of room to growth even to reach more than 10x just in short time. And i still prefer to invest in the cheap coin like remme.

I prefer Eth purely because it gives you greater ability to diversify if you want to invest in alts without taking the costs in exchanging BTC to Eth to Alt. Lots of transactions like that over time can quickly add up.

Well if you are into cryptos you should have know what is called diversifying your portfolio, it is not good to hold only one coins in all your money, it it good to have other coins so that I will advise you to invest in the two.

With the sudden drop on all coins I think you can invest to both of them ethereum and bitcoin. Why? Because those two are the most used coins in the crypto world. Well if i decide to invest into any cryptocurrency it would be bitcoin because it is the highest of all the coins on the market and also it has a high potential of rising more than any coin.

if I am in your position, I will choose the investment in bitcoin. but investment by way of trading. we know that the fluctuation of bitcoin prices is very fast and has a far interval between the highest price and the lowest price, I think it is very appropriate in trading to get the daily profit.

Kabayan! My suggestion is better invest in Ethereum as you may see over thread most people are now interested on buying eth than btc. Plus, it is more profitable because you can almost bought a 2eth if eth surge then its easy money for you and more profit than bitcoin. Ethereum has a lot room to grow it has a active developer and advance technology than bitcoin ,im very sure sooner or later eth will be independent from bitcoin it will pass it when people realise how weak now the technology of bitcoin.

If bitcoin surges again then be rest assured ethereum will surge right behind it. I think you should put ur money because it will give you more percentage increase than bitcoin in future. The market cap has the potential to do x3 even before the end of 2018.

i guess the safest bet ever is to put your money in bitcoin because is the most useful coin in the world and also most of coin to buy it you need to buy btc first to be able to buy it but in this last months we see many good coins are launching thier ico in ethereum blockchain to buy these coin you need to buy ethereum first so if you are looking for profit i guess bitcoin is the best choice

Both coins can be mined and traded on exchanges. Personally, I started with bitcoin. And until today, I prefer bitcoin.But sometimes I redirect one currency to another because . with the fall of the bitcoin depreciates faster and the rise in price of live is going up faster. thus, I try to adjust the situation in the market.

I was just as confused. I decided to divide my money into three parts. I invested 60% in ethereum 30% in bitcoin and 10% in various altcoins. I think this is a very good strategy for a beginner.

Well in today's time both bitcoin and etherium are doing really great in the financial markets and both of them have gained a lot of popularity among the people all over the world and their popularity among the people is further increasing day by day. But still I would personally like to invest in Bitcoin rather than etherium because firstly, Bitcoin is way more popular than etherium and has way more users who are ready to invest in Bitcoin than the users who are ready to invest in etherium.

why not both of them. 50-50 between bitcoin and etherum. then you can continue to observe the price movement of both. which one you think is most profitable and the most significant price increase graph. then you can focus on one coin, or keep investing in both.

People are still thinking of converting their ETH to BTC when the price falling down because they are afraid that if they keep it in ETH they will not be able to cash it out when the dumps occur so that does makes sense that the ETH including any other altcoins will get down

Exactly, for me 50% in bitcoin and the rest in the altcoins it's not a good idea if you are going with 100% of asset only in one investment better to spread them. Bitcoin and ethereum can't be compared to be honest since ethereum still pair to the bitcoin so whatever happens to the bitcoin it will affects ethereum value.

As for me buy Ether. Ether has the most potential of all and it is cheaper than Bitcoin. I would suggest Ether may give us 300% to 500% return by the end of the year. It is a sure win for all us.

That depends on number of factors. For instance, the exchange you use and the trading volume of these coins on that exchange. The one that I use primarily ( a local exchange for my country) has higher volumes of BTC and thus price movement is more in comparison to ETH. This allows me to see for profit most of the times. Less people show interest in ETH on that exchange because of some legal restriction in my country.

I think the best bet would be to invest on altcoins especially if you have a low amount of money, I'd prefer to invest on ethereum mainly, and after that try to buy NEO, ADA and EOS, all of them are great options.

Bitcoin is still the best crypto in the market and it still remains the coin that has the highest number of investors so you can be sure that a coin like bitcoin will be around for a very long time. Yes both the cryptocurrency are good for investment. Both have profitable investment price and both have a profitable history too. Bitcoin is different from Ethereum because of its volatility and stability. Ethereum is more stable then that of bitcoin. But it has less market price than that of bitcoin. So Bitcoin is perfect for short term investment purposes, where as Ethereum is also good for long term investment. Many big multinational companies start investing in bitcoin and these things help it increase its market price. And this thing is good for investment.
