It is nice to see continuous recovery the past several weeks.  Within the past 4.5 months, my portfolio dove down losing more than 75% its value from ATH to the low around April 4.  Since then, it went up and doubled...and while it is still less than 50% my ATH, it is an encouraging sight.

Hope this trend continues.  BTW, I am aware things will continue to oscillate (up and down) but as along as the general trend is upwards it is good. :)

Yes that's the power of BTC, everything will follow btc. So, if btc up then they will all going up. I think it will be more increased when btc hit $15,000 we will all become rich because of what we hold. Just hold and stay we will in the moon again .

What I really like seeing is that the BTC dominance is steadily dropping. If the positive market sentiment continues the alts will see record gains.

Yes, comparably, BTC gained 50% while alts gained 100% the past 3 weeks (at least average on my portfolio holdings).

It's a been a great week so far. I am wondering how come you don't stop loss when you trade? As 75% down seems quite a lot and risky trading strategy, isn't? Hope BTC settle somewhere between $9K - $10K for couple weeks so alts can perform well.

I'm up around 60% just in the last 2 weeks, very happy with these times :)

only 50% of my portfolio is increased, it's because I hold an old crypto. for another 50% has not yet moved and prices are still low. but I'm still happy because the average crypto has recovered and kept going up, I hope btc can reach ATH in the next few months.

Hindsight is always 20/20.  Stop loss would have worked wonderfully but in the same token, many have been burned by it too.  We take our "gambles" and roll with it.

While I kinda expected the major dip (check my other threads), at the same time,  I was also hopeful that it will recover sooner than it did.  Then you reach that point where you just HODL and wait it out.

Same here, I am not even halfway to my old ATH but I believe it will get back up there...in time.  :)

Seems like you got into the crypto in the right time. But make sure to hodl strong and never sell all coins of your portfolio.

And I also think that the general trend will be upwards.

Interesting that it doubled but you are still under 50% of your ATH. You seems to invest in quite risky coins. Maybe you should soften your portfolio a bit with coins that with coins that will be mainstream in years to come.   I am currently 62% of  my ATH and from  4th April my portfolio gained 80%.

Actually I see we dont have that much difference. I my numbers were smaller.

When I was at the very bottom I have lost around 90% from the January ATH's, so basically I was holding during all the dumps. Everything starts to recover but for me there is a still long road to go. Next time I would prefer to transfer everything to BTC  as soon as the bear market arrives, will lose less this way.

That actually sounds a lot like my portfolio.  I generally don't buy top 25 market caps and prefer to hodl so my fluctuations are pretty wild.  I'm probably about 75% invested in the 50-200 ranking market cap range.  Then also gambling a portion on some super low caps.

Sorry, you must have started the wrong time.

Despite my loss of 75%+ from ATH...I still  did not go below my invested amount.   I think I was at x7 during my ATH and at my lowest I was still +50% my investment.

Good for you and congratulations my man.I would recommend to take out your initial investment and keep hodling the rest.good luck for your private yatch :)

The plan is to wait until it get back to my old ATH then take out my initial investment PLUS 100% as (secured) profit.  The rest will be left to grow.

With some trade you can to triple or more to enlarge your portfolio. Look at graphs. More waves and on every you can sell/buy and get more alts.

My holdings are very well by now, but that gain depends on the coins one hold, some coins have not increased much like lisk and some coins that are listed on one or two exchange have not risen as well.

The same happened to me and the same happened to most of us, I believe. However, this was the second time for me actually as I also experienced the same from buying in middle of 2017 and experiencing alt losses all the way to December, and then doubling after that and then slowly reaching break even, before slightly profiting. I had to wait six months then. I only needed to wait 2 or 3 months this time. Still break even overall from the 2nd time, thanks to Verge profits. But slooooowly going to green.

i am 60% down from ATH but around 5% up from my initial investment from last couple up month. I am up on some coins like EVE and down on LTC and all over other coins. hope this upward trend continues red winter is over.

Me too was 75% down on my Portfolio in the red market and with this nice bullish two weeks my Portfolio 100% up from what was the dip and now only 33% down from my all time high Portfolio value. I feel another correction will come but highly satisfied with the Profits I achieved in a hard bear market as it is never easy to have Profits in such market conditions. Let's hope for the best in the future.

Nice move !!! Well I am hoping to recover my loss from previous months . It is a green day market for crypto and I feel like whales are back so let's just hang on tight .

I think this is the best way to go about this, for me i will prefer to transfer huge chunk of those low coin to prominent coin par say if i should have 1000 of a certain low coin, i will transfer 900 of that coin to prominent coin leaving just 100 for possible profitable rise in the future. By doing this you benefit from rise of both coin.  

This growth trend now is different from the past,since the $9,000 target has been attained and just waiting for another pump.

Though i have some doubt that this is another game of the whales to attract many investors and after ,they will dump agaim so they are the winner

Honestly my portfolio is now at -%65 ever since all time high. But I really don't mind it as I observe clear bull behaviours in the market. I am still holding it in safe cold place to open as gift in future when its needed!

Especially pundix rised very much in my portfolio, and doubled in 2 weeks too, I hope this bull season can goes on like this and we can profit good money like previous week.

It's been pretty good for us last week..All the wallets have almost doubled..I hope this continues upward trend.

Congratulations to everyone who have gained profit! This truly proves that patience is a virtue. My strategy is cost-averaging method for long term, so even though it's green, I'm still accumulating more BTC and alts because I have not achieved my target goal yet. During this uptrend, it is recommended to preserve the capital if you're for position trading.

Nothing, still doing my bounty and waiting for my tokens if they will be listed on any exchange, I win some small-small amount from airdrop with speculated price but I'm still waiting before I can say my portfolio has something to tell.

Much or less same here. I made my portfolio mainly during BTC run from $14K to $16K and then everything went down to the major correction. Since then I am still having a big loss in USD value, but BTC value of my portfolio is almost back.

I don't look vs my ATH because I am probably still down 50% but in terms of USD I feel secure and happy about my position. And in the next couple of weeks I imagine it will only get better, but the real question is will we break through the almighty resistance?

This trend might continue for some more days but hoping that this trend will last forever is a bad idea. People can stop making mistakes again by taking some amount of profits here and there on the uptrend. Seriously it's better than suffering in a downtrend later.

I lost 90% of my balance in BTC, and then in 2 weeks ( don't remember specific, but might be in the month that bitcoin stayed around 16k and altcoins pump hard)
I gain all my lost and x1.5 my balance in BTC, I don't remember how, but looking the money coming back through a night is a really good felling ^^
and then storm came, I lost half of that, for now, in USD I didn't lost, but in bitcoin, I lost a little

Bitcoin's dominance is gradually decreasing as more funds are invested into various other blockchain projects. This is definitely a good sign, because it means that the interest to blockchain in general is increasing, whereas during bad times people usually stick only to bitcoin and thus its stake from the general market capitalization of cryptocurrencies grows.
Op, tell us more about your portfolio, please. I thought most of people were still down because of not selling ATH in December 2017.

I am also glad to see how my portfolio is growing and it is very good. A few months ago I saw very small amounts there, but now everything has grown a few times. Most of my portfolios have grown NPSX. I was pleasantly surprised when I saw that this coin has grown several times.

I am a bit jealaous of these people who have fiat money to invest it in crypto now, as all my savings are already there.
Though I'm also happy to see my portfolio grow. I don't have any coins that have shown several x-s recently, such as pundix, but still BCH and ETH gave me a big profit (compared to previous months), so alts from TOP-10 will run the cryptoworld this summer. That's why I sold all my BTC and bought alts.

Mine doubled in 1 week, I can't even put it in words, I'm so happy now!

Story would be similar as yours yet we do have corresponding holdings in our stashes and when we see price recovery or increase on the entire market then results would be just the same into each other person on where we do really see our folio earning some profits due to such price reversal.Even my holdings almost down to 80% into those bearish market but now I'm seeing x2 which is good but still I'm waiting for surpassing their previous ATH.

With the recent recovering of the market it is obvious that our portfolios are looking better but I do not know if we should expect that this trend continues over the long term, if you think about it I really do not see a substantial reason to think this trend will continue for a long time, so while I'm enjoying the fact that my portfolio looks better I will still keep holding for a lot of time.

That's why holding is much better if you have a patient, I looked at on my porfolio now, seem its good and all my investment are recovering since then the crash happen last few months.So better hold for a while and not be hurry if you think that you have been lost.

If you keep consistently earning, its growing will be exponential! Exponential growth  is pure magic..
Keep in mind that 3 weeks is a small period of time and you should not get too excited by your results.. It's a pretty good result anyway!!

I'm planning to increase a small account to the mooon.. I'm pretty good in trading and the fact that I started out with a very small amount of money reduces the pressure.. I belive in 100000x ROI or even more! it might sound crazy hahah but I trust myself and that's what matter!

Learn everything that you can and think by yourself using all the info that you got.. You won't find many people teaching you how to earn money...

I was not as lucky as you because after joining the bounty and being paid tokens, I sold at a low market rate, and now the crypto rate is now doubling. It is regrettable that if held to the present, at least my property has increased. Looking forward to the end of the year the exchange rate will continue to rise sharply and reach record levels.

My portfolio sank by more than 80% amid falling market. ;D Now have recovered a bit. I continue to buy promising altcoins in the hope of great growth by the middle of the year.

I too was over 80% bad. But thanks to the rises in the last two weeks, the spending has reached around 60%. I think that if the ascent continues until the end of the summer, it will close and even profit :)

I think this year i will never recover my loss of 80% since januari.
But it went up a little bit the last weeks so thats good.

As we all know that it is still able to have another ATH , maybe a slower this time, but can still hope that it will be able reach it as crypto will be opened to many doors and organisations as it start to recover and proves its credibility.

That's why everyone is suggesting to hold the coins until your desired target is reached, most of the panic people will sell in the market at the time when are in huge dips. The market will recover but we have patiently until it recovers.

Yes, this is very positive trend for altcoins. If it will going on, maybe we will see "CryptoSpring 2.0" soon.
But be careful and be ready for every possible/impossible scenario.

The good and brave decision is to hodl when there is downtrend. What is the benefit to sell while you are at loss?
Those who sodl during the downtrend from Jan to early April are maybe feeling frustrated by seeing the current uptrend.

I hope the current uptrend will be stable enough and hodl its position strong, at least.

So far I haven't sodl any coin in loss except 1 or 2 which was in 2016 when I was newb. My simple policy works fine but it takes a lot of time sometime.

unfortunately my portfolio did not even grow 2 times. I hope that soon everything will change and we will see a strong market growth

Dont worry bro we will lose those gains soon enough ;D My story is that i am beetween 50-70% ahead then before last month and sold like 2/3 of my crypto in levels waiting for pullback.Currently waiting to see will 8800 level hold to buyback or wait it do go down even more

for now we must strengthen mentally to dare to hold what we have. because current of cryptocurrency is rising. and certainly we do not want to regret later, by looking at the price at that time

This market has always brought us surprises and we can not predict what will happen but the market is showing signs of significant decline in the last few hours and this is being considered the big change in the last 3 weeks. Cryptoucrrency market is adjusting prices and will happen this week. Temporarily should not buy and market waiting for new opportunities

Some of altcoins were in red marks again many had thought resistance support is strong but in bitcoin I think it will climb this coming months. Don't lose hope many portfolio didnt grow we cannot determined if prices will climb but I think it will doubled again soon.

People are taking profits...it is normal/expected and part of the price oscillation I mentioned above. :)

Others see it as another "opportunity" ;)
