I provide The Fastest delivery to you, bar none!

This batch has a simple setup.  you pay 1 price, provide a label and I ship.  I don't care where you want me to ship it to (domestically).

You don't need to spend btc on shipping! spend USD instead and provide me with a shipping label you buy

how to create a shipping label by BorisAlt: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=277332.msg2971486#msg2971486 (shipping from zip 60181)

15.16TH/s - 15,161,963 MH/s MH/s producing, ASICMiner USBs and Blades have been distributed by me so far.

I am located 4 miles from a MAJOR DHL and FedEx hub that receives these orders from China.  My delivery times are the best.  packages sent to me by ASICMiner are in my hand the same day they enter US.  They do not take an extra day or two to travel the country to get to me.  It takes me 11 minutes to drive to DHL when necessary.   My location is in a major metropolitan area next to a LARGE international airport that is a hub for shipping for all delivery companies.  This gives me access to DHL, FedEx (also just 4 miles away, open till 9 PM for next day shipping).  I have access to several Post Offices around me.  I can ship USPS till 7 PM.  I ship to you the same day I receive my delivery.  Simply put, I am in the best position geographically and logistically to receive an order and to get it out to you ASAP.  Period.

Status updates:

2013-08-18: HOW TO SIGN A MESSAGE TO ME (YOUR SHIPPING INFO): https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=195647.msg2291965#msg2291965 Please NOTE: the above example is NOT the same as sending a signed message with your transaction. If you are new to this (aka noob), please read this so that you understand what to do.  This is the single most problematic step in the ordering process.  Here's how to sign a message with a blockchain.info wallet: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=180068.0 Please verify the signed message yourself before you send it to me

how to send a shipping label:
you will essentially download a pdf label from usps and email it to canary.btc@gmail.com (email used for labels only, contact with questions via PM here)
in the body of the email, you will have 4 things:
1. transaction id of your order
2. 1st payment address of the transaction
3. tracking number (no spaces)
4. Signature (your will sign ONLY the tracking # from item #3)
additionally, if you use this method, you no longer need to PM me shipping address as a signed message.  trying to make things simpler for all.
I will check that the tracking number in item 3 matches the label exactly.
See post #2 below for an example.

Common Questions:
When will I receive my order? Answer: I ship out the same day I receive inventory from ASICMiner/friedcat.  I do reserve up to 1 day to get it done in case DHL delivers later in the day.

Can you confirm my order? Answer:  you can confirm your own order by looking up the transaction id of your payment.  if it has confirmations that is your confirmation that your funds were received.  This is what I would do to "confirm" your order.  bitcoin is designed in a way to allow you to confirm and see what you've done.

Folks and miners,

As announced in the Official ASICMINER Hardware Information (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=270573.0) thread, I am a reseller in the USA of ASICMiner products.  International buyers, please contact your respective re-sellers.

Please Note:
Only send payments from an address you control (i.e. you can sign with it). If you send from MtGox or other exchanges, you risk loosing your funds since you can't prove you sent them. Please send from a wallet you can sign a message with.  You will send your shipping address via this method.

Policy update:
Refunds: Your orders are binding after your funds have been used to pay for an order.  Before that (while coins are piling up for the next batch), you can ask for a refund and will get it paid back in full. Understand that after you get refunded, I will not accept future orders from you.

----------------------

Ordering:

There is one common payment address: 1GGFSxxncmXdP9tUSPNPAPi4timLahH191

To buy:

pick the number of ASICMiner Block Erupter Blades to order: N.
send the appropriate amount C=N * price  listed above. email me a label. I ship.

ensure the sending btc address is under your control, so you can sign with it in case of disputes

Shipment:
The USB miners/blades will be shipped to you same day I receive them but not longer than 1 day of me receiving them (just in case DHL has a very late delivery for ex.).

Communication:
I live in Chicago (CST time zone: UTC/GMT -5 hours) and have a day-job that allows me ample time to devote to this endeavor. I do sleep at night, so if I don't answer at night, please be patient.  I'm pretty open and transperant with info.  I post it as soon as I have it, I do not withhold from anyone.  Please respect everyone's time.

Cheers,

Canary

Do you ship to Germany (Europe)?

I know that xyz is the official reseller but his offer is 0.79 BTC/blade which is WAY to high.

Edit: xyz posted he has no blades left.

Post by: soy on December 06, 2013, 01:13:50 AM
Hi Canary,

My Blade had been running 4 days shy of three months then started acting up.

It was only giving me double digits "accepted" as viewed on the proxy for a few seconds after powering up before hashrate dropped to zero and it started rebooting.  I changed power supplies.  I've reconfigured the routing a number of times and my other miners are running okay so the router shouldn't be the problem.

Then the ASIC chip display changed from all "O"'s to all "x"'s.  I've reset to factory defaults repeatedly, the new config showing 192.168.1.2,btcguild.com, but still all "'x"'s.  Reconfiguring to my proxy's I still see no indication of requesting work.  The web interface works fine.

I note that soon after getting the Blade 3 months ago I soldered a tantalum capacitor between the + & - pins at the power plug.  That is fine.

I measure 11.8vdc in and 1.04volts on the copper pads mid board.

I would almost guess it's the PIC acting  up.

Any suggestions?

I measure 11.8vdc in and 1.04volts on the copper pads mid board.

Any suggestions?

Thanks.

soy

Might want to give it a stable 12v... the backpane PSU provides 12.7v
If your power wires are getting hot, you're putting too much load through the power wires.  Use more wires.  Each 18ga wire is only rated for 2.3a worth of power transmission.  That's only about 27w of power.  you'll need 4 power lines if you're using 18ga wiring high quality pcie cables ise this, molex may have 20ga wiring which is only rated for about half)

Okay, will up the voltage to 12.7V.  I had been running fine on 11.8V.  Would make less sense to raise the voltage given the board failed because we had an exceptionally warm winter's day here in Georgia and the room went up to 76°F after weeks at low 60°'s and that even with switching supplies/buck converters, the greater the voltage difference the more power lost at the supply.  But I will give it a try.

Thanks.

soy

as far as I know, blade modifications void the warranty.  you'd need to contact here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=270573.0 to see what can or can not be done.  I do not have instructions to replace modified blades.

I had a similar problem with an Amazon order (from a 3rd party vendor). The package made it to a local sorting facility and there it sat. I had to go to my local post office and talk to the postmaster, as I could not seem to get help on the contact options listed.

It took nearly a month, but they eventually declared the package lost and paid my insurance. (You did use insurance, I hope?)

I have become leery of the USPS lately, with multiple lost and miss delivered packages in the last 6 months.

All I can say is "USE INSURANCE"

Just had a similar issue with a bfl order. They shipped my order last Wednday and sent me the tracking it moved though the postal system got stuck in a sorting facility for a few day and spent an other couple days at my local post office. The package finally was delivered today. USPS is busy this time of year and deliveries are taking longer than normal right now. I have shipped a few items myself via usps and they have been hit and miss on keeping to delivery times. Good luck.

Does anyone know how I find the transaction "tracking" number? I sent payment but feel like I'm missing a step.

I did the whole "signature" thing under the receive tab on Blockchain but I can't wrap my head around how this information has anything to do with my transaction.

It's this type of stuff with the user experience of online wallets and transactions that makes Bitcoin a bit scary. Right now I know I sent a payment, but I can't quite be certain I jumped through the correct hoops within the online wallet.

Edit: figured out they probably want the shipping tracking number to prove who I am. Had to read up on signing to understand the purpose. Payment sent, label and info have been emailed.

The purpose of the 'signature thing' is to prove you have ownership/control of the wallet from which the btc had been sent.

Did I read somewhere 5 - 10 days on returns for repair or replacement or return of original if rejected for some reason?

I paid 4btc and the value lately seems to hover around $900 so that's like $3600, more than the trade-in value of both my car and truck combined.  (Us electronics technicians/engineering aides retire wealthy you can guess.)

So, if 10 days at Canary, and add transit time, a repair would leave at one difficulty, seen a jump, and then another before it gets back home.

Wonder if a new buy or a replacement Blade is the V2.001 without the reset header and having a soldered fuse.

A replacement Blade is in the works!

Hi Canary, the replacement Blade has arrived.  It is one of the new versions, V2.001 I believe not having the replaceable fuse nor reset headers, in an unopened static proof envelop.

The Blade, although showing activity on the RJ45 port is not appearing on the network.  I've run nmap 192.168.1.* and have mapped every device on my local network including ports open.  It would seem like it might have been setup with some other network, e.g. 192.168.0.1 or something else.

I have reset the device by putting pins in the factory reset and ground (ground being the center pin between factory reset and reset) and an alligator clip across the pins and awakened the miner from off, left on for 30 seconds, turned off, removed the pins and replaced the cat5 cable, restarted, and still no report of its existence on 192.168.1.0.  I have tried http://192.168.1.254:8000 repeatedly without results.

I am supplying 11.9vdc to the Blade.

What do you suggest?

soy

Okay, I have it on nmap now.  It is a brand new cat5 cable so I knew it wasn't that.  Two or three days ago two 8 port high speed switches arrived from the Orient.  They had wall warts for Europe but I'm using an adapter and it's working for a raspberry pi I use for stratum.  I just swapped the cable to an older 8 port TP-Link switch and now I see the Blade.

Efficiency is coming up slowly but the pool, which was showing 1 week 5 days for the last share for this worker, is now showing shares.  Thanks.

I note I have modified my Blade stand.  Previously the Blade was standing RTV'd in slots in two PVC pipes and a pair of 120mm fans blowing on the heatsink from a distance of about 1½", as well as a room fan some distance away blowing at the miner.  Now I lay the two 120mm fans down on a metal bar rack having open air.  The fans are attached to one another and at one end two PVC are vertical.  On the vertical PVC I have another fan, something like an 80mm, on a down angle.  I place the miner on top of the two 120mm fans, heatsink down and the 80mm fan blows across the Blade top.

Up to 92.10% and rising.  I'm a happy customer.

I've heard 2 reports of network problems prior to this.  one was with belkin u-verse branded equipment, second was because the ports on the switch were set to 100MB and since blades are 10MB Eth, they would not work.  so it's possible that autosensing isn't working properly on your network switch/hub from the Orient or 10MB speed isn't supported.

Yes, the Blade is fine on the TP-Link 8 port switch.  Also, using the European to US adapter on the power supply perhaps the voltage isn't what it should be.  Happy with the Blade.  Now, is friedcat going to be selling anything new/novel in addition to Block Erupters?
