We are all hoping for the next bull run, and many thought that the last week showed promising signs.

And then, today we have another price correction.
You can theorize all you want: maybe it's because of the mew hack, maybe it's just whales manipulating the market.

But the most simple answer, is that open markets routinely price correct as demand and supply constantly shifts.
In the case of a speculative, unregulated, and young market like crypto, the swings are more pronounced.

I think that what we will see here (and what I hope for more than anything), is that the market and investors grow up and stop throwing money at shitcoins.

The next bull run will come, I'm thinking mid may to late may.
And the coins that will perform the best, and throughout the year will be the ones that have an actual product and real world use case.

just calm down maybe this time coin sales in the market is increasing and cause red market again, but calm down after they buy again market will soon green again, red color in market will not long :)

I see a lot of people saying the bull run will happen in May. I hope so. I learn my lessons from the last bull run and will take profits and hodl the coins I believe will be utilized in the future long term. The ones I take profit from, I plan on rebuying once the market corrects itself again.

Whatever everyone else thinking about that as long as bitcoin is not breaking $8k barrier and it's no problem for me.

just because after a bull run for 3-4 days, and then the market goes red less than 24 hours it doesnt mean bitcoin will end.

The thing about the crypto space is that even a shitcoin gets pumped to 400% on a daily basis. And most times you see all this solid projects maintaining a slow rise in price or some keeps moving sideways and nothing new really happens to their price movement.

that's very normal . Btc has Been doing good last week ,there has to Be some correction in price which suggest steady growth in price . market won't turn green until Btc hit a good price then stabilize .

I must say that the MyEtherWallet DNS issue came at the most convenient moment to put a stop to the Ethereum rise 2 days ago. I think it looks more than a little suspicious and personally I never saw any problem with the MyEtherWallet website, DigiCert security or the certificate itself.

This is just normal when it comes to crypto market. We all know that crypto values are very volatile in nature. The market corrects itself and this is really a good thing for every coin that we want is on sale. We will be expecting a huge bounce back few weeks from now. Hopefully the dip wouldn't be that much until its uptrend again for almost all cryptos.

I agree with you on this but we can't really tell when is this bloodbath will end. I'm hoping as well that $8k support will pump btc value again so that it won't fluctuate that much back to where it was last month which is frustrating.

In that case which is some coins are turning down again, I think there is nothing to be worried about because it is normal to happen. As we remember cryptosystems is form with a lot of ups and down fluctuations so when the market are still in green and never been turning in red well does it means that's not normal and there must be a problem in the system so for now in what is happen we need to be relax because all of this is only part of usual fluctuations.

There is a pull back but the market has been quite green, so now we are having some sideways actions in some coins, it is good for trading. I also picked up one coin yesterday which had a discount but maybe I should have waited for today. I am going to look at if I make some trading profit today then I will purchase another coin I have in mind which is on sale today. After the exchange rate of the market increased rapidly in April, the current rate of exchange rate decrease will be inevitable. This will make investors lead to panic sell. The market in red now but I don't think this would continue to go down.

I’ve learned to not get too high or too low on the swings of the crypto market. They are so unpredictable and seemingly random that getting emotionally over-invested is going to burn you out in a hurry. I stay off exchanges for the most part and just check prices everyone day or so. Back when I followed it and tried to catch al the swings, I would lose sleep over what was happening. It’s easier said than done, but just relax and ride it out.

Correction is needed even when bullrun, there's a few correction in december bullrun but it seems like a lot of people here have a short memory. There's no way we can keep going up, there's resistance that must be broken and a lot of people want to take profit so we have to go down a little bit before going up again. it is the pump and dump-y aspect of the altcoin market that is causing this. in fact there is a good chance that a big part of bitcoin price drop is because of these pump and dumps as the newbies panic sell and want to run away back to fiat they have to go through bitcoin so they sell their shitcoins for bitcoin and then sell bitcoin for fiat which is creating crashes in bitcoin too.

I believe that the reason why we experience another correction is because of MyEtherWallet hack and some exchange already disable receiving and withdrawing funds on all ERC20 tokens. There might be a panic selling specially on tokens and those investors immediately transferred their assets to USDT. Well, it is normal that when BTC is in near reaching $10k mark, a massive selling happens. We can see another bull run by next week, those big news are coming out now specially the news about nasdaq.

Yesterday, there is an article that said MEW was intercepted by the hackers and exchanges suspended erc20 token trading due to potential batchoverflow bug. But don't worry mate! Everything is fine and later on, the market will recover again.

I don't think that MEW hijacked scene affected to this red market too much. It is an old news now. Market reversed few days after the news. It seems like a very late respond showed by traders. So It's not what we can expect to see in the crypto market. I think there's another reason behind the scene.

Yes the MEW hack made a major impact on the recent crypto price drop which I believe will be corrected very soon because MEW developers were able to contain the hack. Bitcoin starts to rise from 6000$ and it was around 9500$ yesterday. So according to me after growing 3500$ a correction of 500$ is normal no need to worry I am sure soon it will recover from this small correction and it will start to rise again for sure.

Based on what the other user here says, the price or value of bitcoin will rise up in the mid year. We can't be so sure that it will be happening because it's almost already May but the prize is till not stable. All we can do is hope that it will be stable starting June.

It's normal to go a little down after gaining a huge pump, Don't be afraid to see the red market. There will be a GREEN signal again.  The price is not too down yet and I don't think it will be more down. Before the weekend, it should up again.

I've heard a lot of TA predictions that the market will rise in May and then we'll face another long correction till the end of Summer. And these small ups and downs don't mean anything now. I prefer to watch on the total market cap and it more or less stable now.

Maybe of mew hack because some of ethereum holders maybe panic and cash out ethereum because they already gain profit or maybe the people who buy when it was in a dip price already sell and dump the price . 

Completely possible since MEW hack was indeed a big deal. Kind of expected something like this to happen since hackers will always figure out a way to hack online wallets no matter how secure they are. This is the reason that I highly recommend hardware wallets like Trezor or desktop wallets even though I like Myetherwallet. Don't store all your funds on MEW or other online wallets. I do agree with the op that this market is inherently extremely volatile which is why these green to red and red to green fluctuations are quite common in the crypto market if you think about it.

Sometimes we cannot understand the market upto where it heading. That's true from the previous months of down market it so happen for corrections so the usual it will going back to increase. So hard to predict the unstable price it may turns green and red again. However, I think it will climb in the few months time.

Its always been a lesson to me and to the future ones to read this everytime theres a coin that had been pumping I feel relieved that this pump will continue I felt I had been attached to the coin that also lead to my demised when the coin dumped super low, so that is the lesson have discipline in your trades its ok to not get the perfect top as long as you profit according to your target get it the goal is to make many bitcoin if this is your bread and butter.

Back to green again mate! Looks like that dip was just a minor blip due to scares around mt gox dumping again. However, those fears where dumbfounded as it was likely to be an over the counter trade which won't have an impact on the market, unlike when they dumped last time!

As I can see it's not everywhere. Today BTC did not confirm the turn. It's movement between $9200 and $9800. And not a smal chance to dump on $8800. While BTC is in the some flat than alts green.

With this, nothing can be done about cryptorines like any other market to bring money to people should hesitate. On fluctuations, you can both earn and lose, but nothing can be done about it.

Last time I checked block folio I saw that the values of cryptocurrencies are green already but this as I checked it goes back to red again. But this type of incidents in bitcoin or even in any kind of crypto's is already a natural phenomenon but I can't get used to it intil now because I am still hoping and expecting for a good future too for the digital currency.

Up and down is a normal trend on crypto market + 20% or -20% is quite common the important thing is the trend of for now it's positive, also q2 is a very historiucal good quarter while q1 2018 was very bad. my hope for q2 is +70% overall.

In my opinion, crypto color graphics continues to change. because the stock market is very concerned about the imbalance. The stock market has lost its stability. Its completely normal when the market price greens and then turns out red. For every bull run , you should expect a slight to moderate corrections. You cant predict when will the users dump their coins or when will the users buys more coin.

In my opinion, if you are impatient then you cannot earn an acceptable profit in the field of  cryptocurrency. As well, it is true that in the previous months and so far there is a wide spread volatility and many crises in the market and maybe this is the worst year in terms of expectations and bad events, but for me the only solution to this big issue is the patience through holding and investing a large proportion of money especially into Bitcoin.

I was thinking bull run start at the end of may or early june but still not happening reason is simple there is lots of no value tokens or shitcoins . That is just normal. All the price changes of the coins and tokens totally relies on its market supply and demands. Not all we can see just a green portion. But expect also some major red prices.

This year is more promising than last year, but what we have experienced in the past is forcing us to be more cautious, while the rises in the market excited us, but it is too early to say "the bull season has come".
